the manga is more serious wish the anime had more episodes

It got quite good once they gave it more story than just monster of the week. I've got all 21 english volumes released so far.

I'd love to see more episodes more in the tone of the manga rather than the pantyshot fest the anime was. I think there was like 30 of them in the first episode. I did really like the capu 2 opening though.

Kurumu and Ruby are more neutral.
Moka and Yukari seem to be more struggling

Moka and Yukari seem to be more struggling

Ruby is barely shown so that doesn't help her case. It is meant to be sexy so that limits what you can do with Yukari. Even in anime they tend to hesitate a bit at pushing the sexy with an 11 year old character.

It's funny how the show was so full of pantyshots but that's as far as they went. The manga doesn't do many pantyshots but but when they want sexy, they go for it even with the occasional bit of nudity.

In the show there was a whole episode basically dedicated to Ruby trying to stop the pantyshots and being prudish in general. In the manga she wore THAT SWIMSUIT. eek There was also that chapter where she was helping Tsukune train that was more about her S&M fetish. There's just something I like about Ruby.

One of my favourite scenes involves nudity but that's not the reason I like it. The one where Yukari falls and pulls off Kurumu's towel in the bathroom. The panel of Tsukune's epic nosebleed blotting out Mizore's face made me laugh so hard. For non-fans, all you see of her head it a blot from his nosebleed and a pair of eek eyes.

I won't spoil volume 11 so all I'll say is the things are continuing to go as bad or worse as in 10. One old villain makes a disappointing appearance that makes a scary point about Tsukune.
