She had left that strange stallion. Tsunami needed time to digest Rezo's words and to reflect on her own situation. It was clear that she couldn't go back and confront Jayden. If she were to try it would probably result in either further injury or worse, her own demise. Tsunami shivered as a light breeze caressed her mane. The wind was cold against her skin but not as bitterly cold as she remembered during her time away from the world.
Why couldn't she get the batwalker off her mind? Was she going insane? Surely there was someone who could explain what her problem was. At least she was not in any more distress. Rezo had done a superb job in healing all of her lacerations. If only someone could heal the wound festering deep in her heart and mind. The mare sighed deeply before she came across her target. A riverbank loomed ahead and Tsunami gave a sigh of relief. She picked her way down the side and splashed happily into the water.

The vibrations in the water triggered the creature's curiosity. A lithe shape detached itself from its hiding place along the river bottom and swam towards the disturbance in the river. Eyes scanned the figure before the creature surfaced a few feet away. Powerful limbs and an equally powerful tail kept him aloft and from drifting down with the river's current.
