Ring Announcer- "The following is the first match in the 2013....KING OF THE CANVAS!!!!" You dream of trading places, I have been changing faces You can not fill these shoes, There is too much too lose. Wake up behind these trenches, You run around defenseless. There is too much too lose, You can not fill these shoes I just want to be Famous, But, Be careful what you wish for..."
~For the first time in two years, Angel's music coming over the PA actually receives a warm reception from the crowd as Angel makes his way out from the back. Those who are followers of Angel noticed that he has gone back to his original ring name of Blue Angel. The crowd did not know what to expect from this, maybe it was just a booking error because surely Angel was not thinking about flying here tonight, not with his history of Injury. One also has to wonder as to how focused Angel could be for this match, considering the fact that his brother, Jack Arson was put into the hospital on Reboot last week by the unlikely team of Stephan Thompson and Jamie Rock. Add this to the fact that Angel just had a run in with Jimmy Monera, and for the second time injured his now wife, Nathalie Monera. All this runs through the head of the Greatest Man to never hold a major title, who stands on the other side of the curtain allowing his music to play for a moment while he clears his head. Angel could hear the voice of reason in his head trying to motivate him to get ready for one of the most important matches in his career The words were from his mentor, who knew a little bit about making it to Wrestlemania..seeing as he is the man known the world over as Mr. Wrestlemania, who always knew just what to say to put Angels head into the game in high pressure situations, because that is precisely what this was to Angel. He had the opportunity to show the entire world that he could close the deal...that he was not a fluke...or a mid-card sideshow. Angel was a WWFG original and was fully prepared to show the world just what that meant to him by becoming the next King of the Canvas. Angel would begin jumping up and down...finally prepared to make his way out from the back and after about five more seconds, he explodes through the curtain and out onto the stage as he is called into the match.
Ring Announcer- "Introducing first from Anaheim, California, weighing in at 235 pounds he is The Blue Angel!!!
~The crowd lets out a cheer for Angel, who was slowly making it back to his original weight of 225 from the days that he was known for his high-flying. Angel would sprint down to ringside and slide into the ring...quickly jumping up to his feet. He would then run to the corner and leaped up onto the second rope with ease...holding his arms out to the side as if they were wings before jumping down to the ring, shaking it as he did. He would make his way to his corner...looking down the ramp intently awaiting the arrival of Hiro Shin-Mozes.~

People can no longer cover their eyes If this disturbes you then walk awayyyy You will remember the night you were struck by the sight of...
TEN THOUSAND FISTS IN THE AIR! "Ten Thousand Fists" by Disturbed hits the PA to cheers from the overzealous audience. Suddenly, out from the back comes the former WWF:G Reboot GM and the winner of the 2013 Royal Rumble, Hiro Shin-Mozas. He tosses a microphone off the stage, he had used it to say "Put Your Fists Up". He heads down the ramp, highfiving some fans. Finally, he enters the ring, joining Angel. He cocked a smirk to the veteran, and nodded, happy to be in the ring with him. Hiro got up on a turnbuckle, throwing a fist up in the air as the fans cheered. He than hopped off and turned to face Angel as the ref looked at both men, and called for the bell!

~Angel knew little of Hiro to tell the truth, other then the fact that he was a force in the Royal Rumble, eliminating more competitors then anyone else in the Rumble match. He looked across the ring at what was the number one seed in this tournament and despite everything that was just mentioned, Angel was NOT impressed by Hiro Shin-Mozes, and in Angel's mind Hiro was nothing more then a hurdle on his way to Wrestlemania....and the man who was standing in Angel's way of breaking his curse to never be able to make it out of the first round. The fans were in an uproar to see this match-up, these were two men who were much more similar then they would like to admit...and each of them had something to prove here tonight...however it was Angel who was still not on the Wrestlemania card so he had that in the back of his mind as the referee signaled to him that the match was about to begin. As the bell rang, Angel would circle around the ring, keeping his distance from the younger, more energetic Hiro and would allow him to make the first move in this match~

Hiro pulled up on his tights, making them a little looser. He put out an arm as he went towards Angel, offering a test of strength.

((Auto-hit))
Hiro Shin-Mozas and Angel quickly locked up in the test of strength, and Hiro, the younger and stronger man in the equation, quickly pushed Angel back into a corner. Hiro than took a couple of moments to throw his fist up in the air, to which the fans cheered him! He than looked to use that same fist to deliver a huge shot to Angel's jaw! If it connected, Hiro would attempt to irish whip him into the corner adjacent from them. As he whipped him across, he would look to follow up with a big body splash onto Angel!

((Auto-win))
Hiro's punch connected, and Angel slumped down the corner a little! Hiro than whipped him to the turnbuckle across, and followed up right behind him and delivered a huge body splash to the man! Angel fell out of the corner, and to the ground. Hiro wasted no time, and he dragged Angel to the middle of the ring. Than, using all the strength he could muster, in an impressive feat, Hiro dead lifted Angel from the mat into a Gutwrench position, and lifted him right up, and slammed him back down into the mat with a Gutwrench Powerbomb! The fans cheered as Hiro threw an fist up into the air celebrating his successful finisher attempt, and he quickly took hold of Angel's legs, and locked him in the Japanese Cloverleaf! Almost instantly, Angel began to frantically slap the mat, to which the ref called for the bell, and named Hiro winner of the match by Submission! "Ten Thousand Fists" hits the PA once more as the fans cheer Hiro's impressive win against Angel. It was now official: Hiro was the first man into the second round of the King of the Canvas Tournament! Leaving the ring, Hiro hustled up the ramp, as he needed to get ready for an appearance he was going to make later in the evening.
