Dr. Sadenes' Sickbay is her domain. Not even Luna herself can give commands there. Her Sickbay takes up the majority of Deck One, over 75% of it. The Sickbay is long and the walls are a shiny white, the sterile smell of an old fashioned doctor's office is everywhere, though it's rumored that she purposely generates that smell. Sadenes takes pride in her Sickbay, stating that to this day, not a single person has died in it.

~~~♥Jessie♥~~~  "Knock knock..." Jessie moved into the sickbay hands clasped in front of her. Compared to the few she'd seen wandering the halls, she was completely unhurt. She'd taken it upon herself to lend a hand if she could to the good Dr. as Serena already had enough in the galley. She stood about uncertainly wondering how on earth she could be useful.

D.r Sadenes didn't even look up, as she was busy clamping off the artery of Lance Corporal Jones.
"Dearie, if you can walk, you shouldn't be here. I've got an entire Sickbay full of the dead and dying. Unless you're here to help, in which case, please come here."

~~~♥Jessie♥~~~ Jessie walked over quickly to the Doctor and knealt by the bedside, holding the corporal's hand in her own and smoothing the hair back from his face.
"Yes, I'm here to help... What do you want me to do?"
She noticed a stainless steel bowl full of water and a cloth lying beside it. She picked it up and dipped it in the water, ringing it out gently with one hand and bringing it to his head, she wiped the sweat that was appearing on his forehead. She did all this while still holding the man's hand.

Sadenes peered at Jessie over the top of her glasses.
"Dearie, I don't believe I know you, and I know all of the crewmen."
There was a squirt of blood that landed on her coat, but she ignored it, a clipping sound heard as the clamp was attached.
"Attendant! Sew this man back up."
She moved to another patient, this one with a large piece of bulkhead in his stomach, his face pale, unconscious, as he was already in shock. Sadenes immediately went to work with her laser scalpel, carefully slicing around the alloy.

~~~♥Jessie♥~~~ "Oh, I'm sorry! I'm Jessie. I'm here with Ryan. We're just passengers at the moment on our way back to his home planet..."
Jessie finished wiping off the man's brow before she moved to the Doctors side once more. Watching as she cut around the metal. Good thing she wasn't squeamish... Though she hadn't really prepared herself to see this kind of thing first hand.
"So...ahh... If I can be any help to you. I sure do hate being useless."

"No idea who Ryan is, dearie."
Her steady hand finally cut open the skin around the bulkhead, allowing her to move deeper inside.
"If you could hold the bulkhead steady for me. If it shifts too much, he's dead."
She kept digging, them mumbled something under her breath.
"Jessie, was it? Be a dear and fetch me 2 ccs of Amnicortazine from a berth attendant, please."

Jessie was a little perplexed, she had no idea what a berthing attendant was but she went up to the first person she saw.
"The Dr. needs 2 ccs of....Amnicor...something? For that man over there."
She pointed to where the Doctor was and looked back at the man who smiled and nodded and handed her what she needed. Thank goodness for that!
Jessie dashed back over to the Doctor and handed it over before taking the bulkhead in her hands. Just as well she had a steady hand from waitressing, even so it was still an effort. She was literally hlding this man's life in her hands.

Dr. Sadenes pressed the tip of the cylinder to the man's neck and his respirations slowed.
"Good work, dearie. Now...slowly lift on the bulkhead piece."
She hand both hands in the hole she'd made, not wearing gloves.

~~~♥Jessie♥~~~ Jessie did as she was told and lifted on the piece of bulkhead in her hands. Slowly, slowly, slowly, ahh too fast, slowly slowly, slower... almost there!
Jessie would have died on the spot if her doctor's hands had entered her body with no gloves on but then the mere smell in here was enough to completely disinfect anyone who walked through the door.

The bulkhead came loose with a sickening pop, Sadenes already there, cauterizing the blood vessels.
"Good work, dearie. You'd make a fine Sick berth Attendant."
She gestured and a woman took over, stitching the man up.
"All life threatening injuries are treated. For the moment."
She began scrubbing her hands, though she looked over at jessie.
"Come, dear, tell me who you are, please? Your accent says Australia, but you don't look Terran."

~~~♥Jessie♥~~~ Jessie moved to wash her hands as well. It was a habit.
"My name is Jessie Mulcahy. I'm here with Peter Ryan. He's a good friend of Nocam's as far as I can gather. We were aboard his ship the Sabre to be transported back to Ryan's home planet, which is not the same as my home planet... I'm not really sure how all this planet stuff works just yet. I'm still trying to get my head around it... Anyway, I went off on a tangent then. We were transferred to this ship because it must have been going closer to Ryan's Earth than the Sabre was..."
She finished drying her hands and looked about her. There were so many people in here it was starting to feel a little claustrophobic even though it was a large area.
"What about you Doctor?"

"I see. Never heard the name, but if he's a friend of Nocam, then he's alright in my book. You keep your grip on that one good and tight. He's a good one, as Nocam doesn't make many friends."
She finished washing her hands and began drying them.
"As for me, I'm from the Sigma Empire. We're not allies with the UEF, but we're friendly. I'm actually not listed as UEF personnel, even though I'm a commissioned officer in their navy."

Jessie walked around the beds closest to them, checking on the patients though most of them were asleep. She moved over to a table of discarded bandages and started to wash, dry and roll them up.
"You'll have to excuse me. I'm not really in on all the military lingo. What's the Sigma Empire? Ryan really doesn't explain things to me we're normally busy doing other things."

Instead of doing the bandages herself, she stood back and watched Jessie do them, a twinkle in her eye as an idea formed.
"Not military, dearie. Politics. Sigma Empire is a star nation. Three planets, one government."
An SBA came up to her and handed her a padd. She entered a few things and handed it back, the SBA hurrying off.
