The day had bloomed into a fine one, Nokomis was certainly impressed, gazing to the sun as she wandered into a wide field. It was open, one line of trees behind her and then flowers littering the vibrant, healthy green. The flowers were a bright beautiful purple and the smell was like heaven itself. She heaved in a deep breath, simply enjoying the nature surrounding her.
A shadow here and there threw the mare into a slight fright, but she quickly calmed herself, letting feathers relax and body become peaceful once more, seeming one with the nature around her.

Somewhere in the field of flowers, a Unicorn lay flat on his side, his eyes closed. Arithyl was simply soaking up the sun amidst the solace of the flowers.
Truth be told, he was napping.
It was a good nap, indeed. He gave a soft snort as a bee landed on his nostril, but otherwise was mostly silent. The flowers smelled really, really good, and the general sounds of the clearing lulled him into a peaceful, dreaming state.

A lovely daze came over the mare, she was happily moving at a snails pace. She had enjoyed the sight, now, with closing her eyes she began to enjoy the smells, the sounds and more. It made her senses tingle with delight.
Then a snort.
It was brief, sudden and shaken her slightly, she hadn't truly realized how timid she had become until her last few encounters with others, or simply by herself. As far as she knew, she was by herself, but now she was not as certain as before.
"Hello?"
At first she whispered this quietly, hoping to have been wrong about not being alone, but she feared there would be someone here. "Hello?" Nokomis fought the fear hard, but still had hope she was alone.
The silence remained briefly.

The silence lasted briefly, confirming Nokomis' fears. The sleepy unicorn somewhere nearby gave a soft grunt as he finally realized the hushed word was connected to someone nearby. One ear flicked forwards, then the second followed. Both weary and wary, Arithyl opened his eyes and slowly picked his head up, tucking his legs underneath himself to have a sleepy-eyed look around.
"...pardon me."
He uttered the words before he spotted the Angeni. He didn't let his ears flop, or himself flop, back into a prone position. Unfortunately for him, he had too much of a polite yet regal bearing to do that.
What Nokomis probably wouldn't know was that Arithyl was wary enough of others. He had blacked out too often in his life. Never knowing where he had gone, or what, exactly, he had done, was a burden.
So he had isolated himself.
Even though manners screamed for him to get up, he remained in his prone position and touched his muzzle to the bed of flowers and grass in a sort of respectful reverence for the acclaimed Angeni before him.

The moment was gone, ceased by the sudden shuffle of shifting blades of grass and the uttered words she could barely make out. Had she stumbled upon a sleeping creature and not been wary enough to avoid confrontation? Any words that had rose to the occasion were quickly swept away as her fears were confirmed by a rather disgruntled looking stallion whom held himself in a way of respect to her.
The angeni let a refusal to relax set in and stared at him, a smile, somewhat forced, lit up her face in a normal, yet hard way. "Hello." She stated, no longer calling out to anyone, but said it more matter of factly.
"Whom are you?"
The respect he had offered, was put out of her mind, but not ignored. It was accepted with a light flutter of her rather puffed up pelt and wings, though it was clear that Noko was uneasy.

Amethyst eyes blinked up at the mare before him. Encased in his expressive eyes was weariness and wariness. Respect and caution. He blinked as he touched his horn upon the ground, somewhat surprised by her somewhat blunt words. The grass deepened and the small budding flowers flourished before he lifted his head and horn and drew himself to his feet.
An ear cocked away from her, and the other was held loosely towards her.
"But a tired and worn dreamer, Lady. I am Arithyl." One large eye blinked at her from its surroundings of green leaves, as if considering. "May I have the privilege of knowing your own name?"
A hind hoof was cocked, and he distributed weight upon the other three. Just watching. Gauging when he should leave her in the peace of the meadow.

Then all of a sudden she seemed to realize what a fool she was acting, this poor stallion was awakened to a rather displeased Angeni and still had the courtesy to show respect and value her presence. How could she act so gruffly? Though she didn't apologize to him she accepted her previous attitude and moved on. The nature surrounding her was really what sold the mare into trusting him. It seemed to like him too.
"Nokomis, Angeni of Mother Nature." She said slowly, becoming more sure of herself by the second. Her answer may still have come off as blunt, but it was certainly warmer.
"Am I disturbing you?"
She said this slowly, worried that she may be the intruder here, though she had considered him to have been such before.

Arithyl was still somewhat cautious by contrast, most of the reasoning behind it that he didn't want to black out, or perhaps otherwise offend the Angeni before him. But he was still cordial and respectful despite that.
His ear moved so it was more fully towards her as she spoke, taking note of the change that was gradually coming over her. The fact she was the Angeni of Mother Nature caused the older stallion to smile, especially with his eyes, as he shook his head gently.
"No, I assure you that you are not."
Rest would be easily regained, after all. And, on occasion, company was a welcome respite from solitude.
"You must feel at home in places like this...or anywhere."
It was gently said, as though coaxing her to relax a little further.
