The workers at the power plant were starting to file in for the day when a loud explosion erupted through the plant. In rushed a group masked people with guns. The soon rounded up the workers. On of the masked men turned to their leader." Sir we have the plant under our control. What do we do now?" Their leader with a smirk grew."Shut off 1/4 of the city power to send them a message that we have control of the plant. Then send a message to the Media that if they don't want these workers to die along with the plant going up in a mushroom cloud then they need to give us 6 million dollars and signed immunity that we can't be touched by any law enforcement. Along with if we are touched then they have to turn the city over to me. Now go!!" The leaser henchmen ran off. Some left to guard the now tied up workers while other went to place c4 explosives through out the plant. A small group headed to the power distribution controls and cut off some power to the city. The leader smirk grew into a smile while they twirled the c4 detonator in their right hand.

Live With Jordan Amy Carr  Jordan Carr stood outside of the power planet, the mic close to her lips. Mike was behind the camera filming her."Jordan Carr reporting live, bringing you coverage of the event taking place at the power plant! As you can see there is people outside the power plant with guns, holding some workers hostage... We will try and get close for you to see but I do not know how close we can get without being spotted," Jordan announced then she turned and stepped out of the view for the camera so Mike could zoom in. "Remember your seeing this here live with Jordan Carr. Stay with me and I will bring you more live coverage. Right here on Cityside News!!" She announced confidently then watched as Mike lowered her camera and she ushered him to get closer to the power plant.
They moved over to where they were hiding behind some supplies for the power plant. They had to be careful not to get caught and find a way into the power plant without being seen.

One of the henchmen guards noticed two people sneaking around. He pickup his radio " Hey boss that stupid reporter is out here. Going to go capture like you told us to when she showed up." The henchmen got a buddy with them and slowly sneak up on Jordan and her camera man from their blind spot. Jordan soon felt a tip of a gun against her temple." Hey hot thing. way don't you and your friend here come inside. Our boss would so love to meet you." The two escorted Jordan and the camera man. Once inside they took them to their boss." Hello miss Jordan. I would love for you to report a message to the mayor for us. Tell him that we currently control the power plant and demand 6 million dollars and immunity from arrest. If any police or super hero tries to attack we will trigger the bombs planted through out the power plant thus turning it into a mushroom cloud. If you have any reservation about reporting this then.." The leader click their finger. Soon two henchmen were on Jordan camera man. They started to beat him up leaving him with a broken rib,jaw, and dislocated arm. The camera man laid on the ground fidgeting with a small pool of blood. " Now then dear if you could be so kind to tell the mayor our message for me?"

Live With Jordan Amy Carr Jordan Carr struggled a bit as the men dragged her inside the power plant at gun point, things were never good these days. She just couldn't have a normal day free of chaos. Aliens, heros,... Galaxy police officers. Scratch that last part. Jordan watched as the men beat her camera man to a pulp. She struggled against the men holding her. "No!! Stop it!!" Jordan screamed as they continued to beat him up. As soon as they finally left Mike alone, she turned her head to look at a masked person with a female voice. Jordan's eyes glared at the woman as this woman gave her demands on stuff to report on. Was she kidding her? After what she had just did to her camera man in front of her? She would've been more willing to do it if she she didn't just have her idiots man handle her friend. Cause she hadn't hurt anyone yet.
Jordan spit at her. "I have a better idea, how about I report on what your doing? Why you are doing this or maybe even who you really are?!!" She snapped back at the woman with passion and fire in her voice. Jordan wasn't scared, there wasn't very much that scared her any more these days. Not since that one night.

The leader of the group smile while listening to Jordan"You done?" Jordan nodded her head with a firm nod. "Smack" was the sound that echo through the power plant coming from the leader slapping Jordan hard across the cheek. The the leader grab Jordan by the head and turned her to look at a group of workers tied up." You'll do what I say or those people over there will die. I will have you personally watch them get shot in the head and slowly watch their life fade away in their eyes. Can you live with that? Knowing you a reporter who failed to report an event was the personal cause of taking someone love one away?" The leader waited for a few seconds but hearing no response she turned her head to one of her henchmen." Do it." The henchman walked behind one of the men while a another henchmen held Jordan to force her so she could not turn her head away. Jordan heard the henchmen c**k his gun. The tied up worker was shaking nervously and started mumbling and begging for his life to the henchmen. Pleading him not to shoot him. The henchmen put the gun against the temple of the man.

  "Lets see what luck has in store for me today."Hector pulled up in his police SUV, put on his bullet proof vest and grabbed his Assault Rifle. He tapped the glass and Sergent Rodriquez got out. "So whats the plan L-T?" Hector nodded at the building and said, "We sneak in and take out the bomb. Don't let them see us." Rodriquez pulled out his nine millimeter and reached back into the car to grab his coffee. Suddenly the sirens started blaring for a second before shutting off. Hector dove into hiding, but Rodriquez just stood there with his gun pointed away from the car.

Just at the last second the henchman heard a car door shut followed by sirens. Seeing two shadows on the ground near the entrance."We got company!!" The henchman raised the gun off the hostage and started firing at the entrance. Six bullets ripe through Rodriquez. Four going through his chest, one in the temple, and one in the left arm. The leader now pissed off grab Jordan by the hair." Alright you little b***h. I am no longer in the mood for waiting for your s**t. You better report our message our I going blow this whole damn place up." The leader tightly grip the bomb trigger with her finger just above the trigger.

Live With Jordan Amy Carr Jordan Carr glared at the woman, she couldn't believe that this woman was really going to try to pin all of this on her and make Jordan look like the bad guy even though this woman was the one holding everyone hostage and threatening to blow up the power plant. Where were those stupid heros now? How troublesome this was turning out to be for her. They already beat up her camera man. "Really?... Really?... You..." Jordan didn't get to finish what she was saying, there was the sound of sirens outside. She couldn't believe this the police had honestly gotten here before even the heros. She had to give props to the police now.
Jordan watched in surprise as one of the henchmen. They unloaded their gun into one of the officers. Her eyes widened and she watched as the officer fell to the floor with a sickening thud. The sound echoed in her head. She then looked over at the woman who was calling all the shots as she gave her orders. Jordan turned and punched one of the henchmen holding her in the face. It was so sudden and unexpected. Jordan then looked at the boss pointing her finger at her. "If you want a report, then fine I will report for you!" she snapped at her then she turned to one of the henchmen that had been holding her, the one that wasn't holding his face with a bleeding nose and demanded him to hold the camera and to hold it right.
Jordan picked up her mic and then pulled out a compact mirror and checked her hair and applied a little lip gloss before she press the button on the camera to broadcast what the camera was seeing. She was live. Jordan got a very serious and professional expression on her face. She brought the mic up to her shiny lips. "This is Jordan Carr from City side news live inside the power plant where the hostage situation is taking place. And where a police officer was just shot to death only seconds ago. I am here live with the cold blooded criminals responsible for the situation... And their leader who is a female. Yes, that is right, a female," she paused and pointed the mic towards the woman boss, holding it out to her. "Your posing a threat to the entire city and are now a cop killer, do you have anything to say for yourself ma'am?" Jordan asked in a very professional reporter fashion, she gave the woman this look that basically dared her to say something.

"Lets see what luck has in store for me today." Hector took a deep breath and said, "Here goes nothing." He rolled around the corner and fired off six shots. Unbeknownst to him, one of the shots had hit a wire on the bomb and disarmed it. The other shots hit one of the henchmen, who had been standing in front of Jordan. As the bullet exited the man's chest, his blood sprayed over Jordan's near-nude body, dying her unmentionables in red. The next shot hit the one to Jordan's right, the bullet went through his head and he hit the ground. One of the remaining bullets ricocheted off the wall and hit a light, but since the power was out, there was no light anyways. He rolled back behind his cover and shouted out. "Let Miss Carr leave and I don't put a bullet in the rest of your heads. Then you can negotiate with me and actually get something done." He sat there and thought of what else to say, "If you blow this place up you won't be around long enough to even find out if you got your money. Right now you are looking at life in prison, and your friend that shot my partner is looking at death. You touch that reporter and you take away the possibility of parole, and you kill me and you will all get the chair." He took a breath, "At least if you stop now and deal with this calmly you stand a chance at getting a reduced sentence. Or you can follow this crazy b***h into oblivion when she blows this place sky high for making unreasonable demands. I bet you this power plant doesn't cost six million lady, and you know what that means? It means that its cheaper for them to blow you up in here than it is to pay you. I bet all your news cast did was convince them to cut off the external power sources feeding this place in order to decrease collateral damage. Even then, factor in the cost of a bunch of criminals running free in the city, and its still cheaper for them to blow you up. You would be doing them a favor by doing it yourself."

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Garfield Logan | Night Beast  Garfield teleported into the power planted and landed on I beams near the top of the building. He over looked the scene below. There was a nearly naked woman covered in blood with two people dead beside her on the left side of the plant floor. One of the dead person was laying on the woman and another laying next to her. Then there was bunch of peopled tied up in the center being guarded by people in ski mask with guns. Lastly there was a man with a gun pointed towards a female figured in a ski mask near the entrance. I need to wait till the right moment to act or else this whole place with go up in flames. Garfield turned into a spider and slowly descended the I beam till he was about 30 feet above the ground.

The leader stared at Hector." You have not thought about the side effects if the city lost it main source of power? Yes it might might be cheaper for the company to simple rebuild after this place is blown but the city does not have that luxury. Think about all the businesses who well be out of work due to not having any power? By the time the new power plant is built their be either head over heels in debt or bankrupted from having to their overhead. What little power that is available will be rationed among the public services. All the while the main population grows unrest for not being able to their modern electronics that they grow so found of and can't live a day without.Anger will start to grow towards their government for not dealing with the crises and just trying to rely on super heroes. Who I must not are not here at all. So, yes it doesn't have a really effect in short terms but it will plant the seeds of anger and contempt in the population. All this can be avoided if they pay us. I don't care who pays us as along as we get paid. Also before you start shooting your gun off I think I should warn you of something. I'm the trigger to the bomb because I'm wearing a dead man switch. Now why don't you do these poor innocent people a favor and put your gun down and with luck none of them well die today? Two henchmen had their guns pointed at Hector. A third man had manged to sneak behind Hector and was pointed a gun at him as well. Above Hector there were three henchmen along the catwalk aiming at him. It was clear that if Hector tried to shoot again the others would return fire.

"Lets see what luck has in store for me today." Hector looked over his shoulder and saw the guy attempting to sneak up on him. He shoved the butt of his gun into the guys stomach and spun around him, taking the man's gun from his hand as it dropped from his hand and pointing it at the henchman's head as he locked the man's arms behind his back, breaking one of them at the socket. "Yeah, thats true, but you missed my point. I was saying if you blow this place up, its cheaper to rebuild. I mean sure, businesses would suffer, but honestly, I don't think you will do it. Call me crazy, but I doubt you would blow this place until they actually deny you your money. I mean why kill yourself for nothing?" He chambered the next round and said, "Now, lets negotiate on my terms a little bit. You've got me surrounded, but I bet I could take out three of your men before your men could even get in a shot. I can tell these are just common crooks." He jammed the gun in the guys head and said, "Or you try to grow a pair and fire the first shot. Don't hit your henchmen though, the others may learn how meaningless they are to you and get angry." He smiled coyly, holding his meat shield in front of him proudly as he backed towards the wall. "Or you call your men off, let the reporter go, and I may just turn you in alive."

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Garfield Logan | Night Beast Seeing a chance to help out the officer Garfield still in the form of a spider crawled back up his web to the cat walk. He moved behind the henchman that was on the left side. Garfield turned back into his human form but was prone to the walkway to remain unseen. The henchman stood unaware of Garfield's presences as he tied his shoe laces together. Garfield turned back into his spider form and did the same to the other henchman. Once done he turned back into a spider and walk a little ways off. I need a noise or something to make them jump but it can't be anything out of the ordinary. Wait I got it. Garfield mentally grinning to himself of his simple but clever answer to this solution. Garfield turned himself into a cat despite the irony that could be seen from this. He walked up behind one of the henchman and let out a loud yell. The henchmen were scared s**t from this apparently because the henchman that was on the far side jump and accidental drop his gun while falling flat on his face. The gun fell to the floor but fortunately did not go off. The henchman that Garfield was directly behind jump too but he fell backwards and landed on Garfield tail. Garfield yelled again but this time scratched up the henchman's face. Once the henchman got up Garfield shot off away from the two men. Once far enough away he turned into a mouse and slowly made his way to the ground. He moved along the side wall closer to Jordan. He knew he was told never to help this woman because she was the press and she would report him to the world.This what his parents told him at least. Yet he could not just watch an innocent person get hurt in front of his eyes. What can I do besides directly intervening to stop this?
