 Sakura 5 years female Kitsune Sakura is a shy girl but has an older brother who is the prince of the kitsunes and she is the Princess. They are very loved by the kingdom but there parents are not too fond of Sakura.... Well there father isn't anyway. Their mother has no say in her development because she died after Sakura was born. SHe had an illness that killed her and Sakura is often blamed for their mother's death but her brother knows that she wasn't. She has a low immune system because she was born during their mothers illness and has no other health prblems but she has accepted that her father hates her and wants her gone.

Kai is Sakura's older brother and is always trying to protect her and make her feel safe around the family including their father but he knows that their dad doesn't like her very much. At times he comes home badly hurt because his so called friends pick on him for protecting his little sister

Sakura was in her room playing while Kai was out with their father. She was saddened that she couldn't go but she was used to their father saying that. But it didn't make it any better for her since she normally just stayed in her room and cried. She had bruises all over her body and cuts. All she wanted was someone who understood her, a friend of some kind but everyone was too scared of her father to even try to make friends with her. So she made an imaginary friend. But it still wasn't the same. She then started to cry silently to herself and said "Why doesn't anyone want me around?" She was very upset.

Kai frowned listening to his father banter on and on about how Sakura was going to screw up with the whole family and stuff and sighed as he walked back inside and shook his head as he walked into the room and sighed as he sat down on the bed and wrapped his arm around Sakura and stroked her hair wincing slightly because of the guy beating him again " Its going to be alright.." Kai said in a soft tone

Sakura hugs Kai and said "Kai why does daddy hate me? He wont let anyone become my friend. I'm very lonely." She then buries her face and cries in his chest. It was heartbreaking to see any child like this especially one who just wants a a friend. She thought there was no place for her here. Their father ruled with an iron fist and Sakura was born he got worse and every Christmas she didn't get any presents as her father forbid it. All she could do was watch the other kids in the kingdom open their's and wonder what it was like to have parents that care for you enough to get you something.

Kai sighed and shrugged his shoulders for a moment before moving his fingers through her hair like he used to calm her down and smiled as he started to hum a lullaby he remembered their mothering humming to her before she was born " I don't know sis....but i promise it'll get better soon.." Kai said laying back against the pillows with her in his arm

Sakura then hugs Kai and snuggles against him. She then grips his shirt and started to calm down. She knew that Kai cared for her but it wasn't the love she was looking for. Just then there came a knock on the door. It was Kai's butler. "Please pardon the interuption my lord. But your father wishes to see you at once for your combat practice." He said and bowed before leaving.

Kai sighed as he looked up at the butler and winced as he sat up looking down at Sakura and stroked her hair and smiled kissing her forehead " I'll be back later alright.." Kai said smiling as he stood up sighing as he walked out of the room limping from the last training

((Srry for logging off. Mom took me out for Frozen Yogurt and it was good.)) Sakura then watches him leave and got sad as she watched him and their father from her bedroom window. She sighs and looked out at the kingdom. She then goes out of her room and goes to the rose garden which was where their mother was buried. She picked a few Roses and tulips and went to visit her. She sometimes wished she could join her mother in death and be with her. "Mommy why did you leave me here? I want to be with someone who cares about me and who will stop daddy from hitting me. I wish you were here." She said and felt a strange presence behind her almost as if someone was hugging her. It was a calming presence and Sakura was smiling as the strange presence around her embraced her. Then it said "Don't worry baby. I'm always with you. Mommy will never leave you as long as you beleive." "But mommy I don't want to be alone anymore. Daddy doesn't want me and no one will even come near me. What can I do? I've never had a happy birthday or a Merry Christmas since I was born. I know that Kai wants me to be with him but I want something more than a brother. I want a friend." Sakura said. Then a bright light shined in the garden and suddenly a cat of white fur and sapphire like eyes appeared. It went up to Sakura and rubbed against her. She pet the cat and said "Thank you mommy. I promise I will take good care of him." She then picks up the kitten and takes him to her room. She was actually laughing and having fun with him. She hoped that she could keep him since it was a gift from their mother. ((He also has a demon form which I am still looking for.))

Kai frowned almost losing his temper for the second time and sighed as he walked upstairs but didn't go to his normal room with Sakura and opened the door to one of the old rooms he used to stay in untill their dad kicked him out he sighed as he slammed the door shut knowing it was closer to Sakura's room and shifted to his fox form and jumped up onto the bed and closed his eyes soon falling

Just then their father who smelled the cat went into Sakura's room and was about to hit her when the cat attacked him changing into a sabertooth cat. Sakura screams as their father came closer and the cat tackles him to the ground protecting Sakura.

Kai sighed as he walked into the room in his human form and looked at the cat sighing as he walked over to Sakura and sat down still holding his wound and looked down at the cat " Mom gave you that.." Kai asked frowning for a moment

Sakura nods and healed Kai's wound with her powers and looked up at him. Koga then comes over in his demon form adn nuzzles Sakura who laughs and pets his head. "good boy." She said and he turns back and lays in her lap. Sakura was really smiling as she held him and looked over at their father who was getting angry. Sakura was scared but felt calm with Koga around. Koga growls at their father and huffs climbing his tiny body onto Sakura's head. She laughs as he started to play in her hair.

" Why don't you back off for a moment and think about what's going to happen if you hurt Sakura again.." Kai said in a dark tone and sihged as he laid back on the bed and closed his eyes for a moment knowing he was going to have to put up with his stupid speech about this the next day

Their father left angrily and Sakura goes over to Kai with Koga still on her head. "Are you okay Kai?" She asked and layed down with him. Koga comes over to Kai and started to purr. Sakura smiled and said "I think he likes you." She then pet's Koga and he purrs and snuggles up to her. Sakura giggles and pets him more.
