Bolting up the stairwell, the young girl stared. Three behind two above. How the HELL did she attract them like this!? This was well over fifteen that she had fought and at this rate she was gonna need anther new broom handle. Slamming the head of the first zombie, the girl narrowly sidestepped the other as she drove the end through the seconds head. The third from below met the grewsome backswing as she panicked and splatted his rotted brain against the window. Still there were the two above to deal with and as she whipped around, Lucky swept one off the balcony so that it fell. It was meant o buy time as she dealt with the other. Her arms were getting tired, but still, she ended up smashing the fourth head without much trouble. Catching her breath, the little one watched as the last stumbled up the stairs. Damn she needed to get in better shape. As it stumbled and moaned, she took careful aim before driving the end through its eye socket and shattering its skull. As it collapsed, she whiped the zombie guts on its clothing (or at least what was left) before scurrying up the stairwell to the roof. Corey was still following them like a toddler chasing after its mother. As they headed up to the roof the girl was attacked by the creatures known simply as "them" and killed them with relative ease, he followed them up the stairs heading to the roof. As he reached the floor just under the roof, five of "them' appeared hearing the sounds of his shoes on the stair way. The mop he had he gripped with both hands as then came closer towards him. He moved back and closer to the stairway. He swung at their heads of the creatures and hit two dropping them to the floor. He moved to the other side of them quickly. He watched them get back up and thruster the mop like a spear to their head and they were knocked down the stairs. You could hear the thumps of the corpses hitting the ground, bones breaking, and their heads bashed open, they laid motionless. There was three of 'them" left. He hit the railing of the stairs to attract the other three, he would use the same method as before to kill the remaining ones before heading up to the roof. They closed in he swung with the greatest strength he could and hit them heads like a marble hitting another knocking them to the ground. Their blood hit his face. A voice could be heard echoing in his head "Kill, Kill, Kill.' He smiled and using the cleaning end he pushed them to the edge and pushed them to the edge and they fell down the edge like the first two. The one was getting up and he swept its leg. Using the edge you hold he used it to keep smashing the head over and over again its weak spots like its eyes, nose, and mouth. Each hid caused more and more blood to spurt into his face and pushed the last one off the stairs. He rubbed his face cleaning it with his sleeve then headed up the stairs following them.

His destination was the first floor, and as he came around the corner of the staircase, something happened. Gun shots rang out loud through the stairwell. Five of "them" had been blocking his way down, and they immediately perked up. " Oh man.." spoke Kota not even remembering to whisper. Due to his voice trailing, "they" went into a craze and tried to reach him. Though their attempts at climbing the stairs were futile, they were slowly learning how to get up them one by one. Taking the Scout Rifle off of his back now, he prayed that its noise would not make too much noise as he tried escaping. Looking through the scope now, he planted a bullet into the first Zombie's skull due to it falling onto the ground. The others were also beginning to fall over the first body because of how it fell diagonally in the stairwell. Lining the scope up with the its face, Kota waited for it to stumble back to his feet before releasing the trigger. Two had gone down now, and only two remained obstructing his view. It was then that a moan came from behind him. Freaking out now, Kota slammed backwards against the wall and watched as a zombie fell head first down the staircase. Had he been any slower, he more than likely would have died. A drop of sweat now fell down the side of his face. He was nervous. His hands shook slightly from the gun's vibration itself. He was still being weighed down by his bag, so at times he would slouch before trying to aim. Two of "them" remained now, and since he was starting to get a hang of how things worked, he put the scope to his eye once more before aligning it with the zombie's knee cap. On the sound of the trigger being pulled, blood splattered outwards along the sides of the wall as the zombie fell down to the ground. Its left leg had been shot clean off, and as such would have to learn to adjust. One last zombie remained, and to that effect, he did the same thing, but shot its right leg off. With this, the two zombies skulls collided with each other as they fell. The party was over. Sliding the gun back around to his back now, he breathed heavily for a moment before continuing. Kota would head towards the gunshots, as gunshots always meant survivors.
