Would anyone be willing to Beta read my musical cross of HP and Phantom of the Opera? Jay has already said she would read it for me, but I think I'd like to have 2 betas because I'm not really so confident in my writing skills. Pretty much, I think that anything I write comes out horrible. If you want to beta read for me, please let me know!

Whoo, I get first dibs on beta-ing! ^.^ I get to read it before other people do. Bonus.
Hey, it'd be a good idea to have a sticky for this - a place where people seeking and offering beta-ing services could check out what's on offer.

^.^ I'm like that - with good ideas, I mean.
And seeing as this is the official beta-ing thread, I may as well post this:
I'm offering my services as a beta/editor for anyone who's interested. My main fandoms are Harry Potter, Tamora Pierce and Garth Nix, but I'm alright with Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials and most of the other fantasy worlds. I'll also do original work, both fiction and non-fiction.
I usually don't take any more than a week to beta a piece, depending on length - if you need it urgently, I can do it in 24 hours at need. If you want me to beta for you, send a copy of the piece to jay.silverstreak@gmail.com, which is my beta-ing address.

~<The Heir of Slytherin... Awesome, thanks guys! I definitely should have time this weekend to write. Nobody is really going to be around, so I should have time to do all the things I want to do once my homework is done. ^_^ ...has arrived!>~

I'll read too, but I can't edit to save my life. It's funny how I survive with my lack of editing skills.

My story's on hold for a while... I've got a lot going on at the moment, what with the end of the semester approaching and lots of choir concerts and all that other good stuff that goes along with school. There's a slight possibility that I might be able to write a bit while I'm home here on break, at night, but I'm not sure. I've almost kinda lost interest in it...

Cheer up, emo kid.|~*^.[ Stuff happens. If you are unable to be writing at this time, perhaps you can write later. Maybe. And I lose interest in my writing all the time. It's the sole reason I've never actually finished anything.
Anyways, my offer of betaing still stands... ].^*~|lolol, you're so RAD]
