Trivium. A 4 piece Heavy Metal band from Florida, have recently released a new album entitled 'In Waves'.
In my opinion, I think this fresh new sound is a fantastic change and sounds just as good as their previous albums.
So guys, what do you think of their new album? Love it? Hate it? Got a bone t'pick? Done any covers on youtube?

Heavy Metal? I was never aware they sounded anything like Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. They are and always have been Metalcore, flat out.
Either way, from what I'm hearing, it sounds pretty boring, like everything else I've heard from Trivium. Nothing of any particular musical merit, just your typical horribly downtuned guitar work, breakdowns and really sadly-executed alternation between harsh and clean vocals that, quite frankly, is gimmicky more often than not.
Most definitely unimpressed, same as every other Trivium album.
