Lavonia Espinosa  Lavonia Espinosa was wondering what her great Aunt Elena was up to. If Lavonia didn't know her any better, her aunt wanted her to meet a good man to get her hitch the sooner the better.Which wouldn't be surprising though, she just wants to see me happy with a man that that will love me and take care of me well. Question is who will it be this time? Someone I already know or someone completely new... Lavonia thought as she finished getting ready for the festival that was about to start in her home village this day. Hopefully that drow Erik won't show his face today at the festival. he's a royal pain in the arse and I don't want to marry him...Forget about him for now and go enjoy this festival while ye can. She thought to herself after making sure her money purse was secure in one of the hidden pockets in her dress and then headed out to the village square.

Prince Zelig von Dale Looks like I'm clear. Prince Zelig thought as he slipped unseen of the castle grounds. His father was getting old, and might soon leave the throne to him. He'd been given the best education possible, but knew it wouldn't do him much good with out some first hand experience among his people. So every once in a while, he'd sneak out on his own. He often went around market places and taverns so he could listen in on people talking, and sometimes he'd talk to them as well. In fact he'd made a few good friends this way, and had learned a lot about what the people thought needed to be done. His father was a good king, and over all the people where happy, but life wasn't perfect and the poor where still poor. Nothing could really fix that, but at least he hoped to make things a little better. Mrs. Elena, the head cook and one of his tutor since he was young, had always been very helpful to him. She made most of his excursions possible by giving him "advanced lessons" a couple times a week (during which time he would not be missed when she allowed him to sneak off). Today was going to be something special, as he would be attending a festival in town. I wonder what she's like. Thought the prince as his mind wandered to Mrs. Elena's great-niece he'd be meeting today. From what Mrs. Elena says, she sounds like a good person, I'm sure we'll become fast friends.

Lavonia Espinosa Lavonia reached the village greens to see that the festival was in full swing. She knew that Aunt Elena had a food booth somewhere in the food vendors area and then her stomache began to growl as Lavonia hadn't eaten anything today yet. She walked through the crowd to reach the vendors and finally found Aunt Elena."Hello Auntie Elena! What do you have here for me to eat?" Lavonia asked her with a smile on her face before taking one of the meat pies and began to eat it.."Good morning Lavonia...Those are for paying customers... Oh well, I'll just eat the treat that I fixed for you instead." Elena said to her great niece, teasing her alittle bit there. She looked about the crowd, wondering if the prince had been able to sneak out of the castle today. SHe really want him to meet Lavonia and hoped that they might become more than just friends but just being friends for now would be a good start. "Aye, I hope that my friend that I wanted you to meet gets here soon before it gets too late.""Auntie, you wouldn't... Yes, you would do that. I hadn't eaten anything yet today and I'm very hungry. So who is this man that you wanted me to meet?"She asked, wondering who it could be this time.

Zelig von Dale"Might that be me?" Zelig asked when he heard Lavonia's question as he approached Mrs. Elena's food stand. "Good day, Mrs. Elena." He took of his hat and he turned to greet Lavonia, "And good morning to you Miss, you must be the niece I've heard so much about. Here he bowed. You may call me Zevedee. A strange name, I know, but it's what I'm known as. Straitening himelf again he added, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Lavonia Espinosa "Aye, that ye be, young man. Here's my great-niece I wanted ye to meet, Lavonia." Elena answered him, wondering if either of them would remember each other from many years ago when they were tikes and played with each other in the castle. Lavonia rolled her eyes at the man before finding out that this was the guy that her aunt wanted to meet. A sigh escape her lips as Lavonia turned to face this Zevedee. She gave him a slight curtsy in response to his bow."Oui, I'm Lavonia and good morning to ye as well."Lavonia said as she looked him over. He's not bad looking on the outside but it's what is on the inside that counts more. But for some reason, he does seem familiar to me somehow.She thought to herself before finishing the meat pie."With the two of ye here, I would like to go and do a little shopping myself if ye two would mind my shop here." Elena said, wanting the two to get to know one another again with out her being there. "Aye, I'll stay here so ye can do that Aunt Elena."Lavonia said, not knowing if this Zevedee would stay.

Zelig von Dale "Of course I'll watch the shop a while." Zelig answered Mrs. Elena's question. "You just go enjoy the festival and we'll take care of things here." i didn't think i'd be working today, the prince thought to himself. But Mrs. Elena certainly deserves a chance to enjoy the festival. And i can always look around some when she gets back. He was just as glad to work at the shop a while. As Zevedee he had often worked odd jobs, and found them rewarding and sometimes enjoyable. i wonder if her niece will join me later or if she'll be working at the booth all day.

Lavonia Espinosa Lavonia's facial expressions now make me think that she recognizes him from somewhere. Well, she has seen him many time when they were tots before her family moved to the farm. Hopefully she won't say anything out here if she does remember him being the prince... Elena thought to herself before remembering the apple turnovers that she had made for the two of them. "Oh, here's the apple turnovers that I made for the both of ye... Now I go do some shopping." Aunt Elena said as she pulled out the basket that had the goodies in it to Lavonia and then left the two alone. "Oh thank you Aunt Elena!"Lavonia said as she took the basket that Aunt Elena handed to her that held the apple turnovers. She then held the basket towards Zelig so he could get a turnover first to eat."Go ahead and have the first one Zevedee. So how do ye know my Aunt Elena?"Lavonia asked him before he could take a bite out of the apple turnover.

Zelig von Dale "Thank you, ma'am." Zelig said simultaneously with Lavonia. When she asked how he knew Mrs. Elena he replied, "Oh, didn't she tell you? A cheeky smile spread across his face as a thought occurred to him. He leaned closer to Lavonia and, still smiling, said in a low voice, "Well, I'm actually the prince of the castle, I just sneak out and pretend to be a commoner to learn about the kingdom first hand."He laughed at his "joke." Then Lord Terran came to his mind. Straightening himself he said with a strait face and normal tone, "My dad's an old friend of Cedric Terran, I guess you know he wasn't born a noble, he earned it the hard way. Anyway he's let me into the castle a few times and sometimes helps me find an odd job, when I need it. I met your Aunt at the castle."Everything he'd said was true enough, Lord Terran had often let him into the castle after he'd snuck out and did help him find many of the jobs he took around town while posing as Zevedee. In fact he'd been the one who helped Zelig realize he needed to see life in the kingdom first hand to become a better king one day. Having been born a peasant farmer, he was more down to earth than some of the other nobility and understood the value of such things. "Your Aunt's a great cook," He added, taking a bite of the turnover. "How's your's?"

Lavonia Espinosa Lavonia rolled her eyes at his cheesy claim to be the prince of the realm. It wouldn't be the first time she heard that but chuckled slightly."Yes, I know of Lord Terran and met him a few times myself years ago when I was staying with Aunt Elena for a few months in the castle after my parents moved out to the farm. Aunt Elena is the best cook in the world. I try to get her to tell me her cooking secrets but she doesn't. My turnover is very good and yours? "Lavonia asked and wondered what he might ask her next.

Prince Zelig von Dale She stayed in the castle? Hm... Zelig thought too himself trying to remember if he'd met her. At her question he responded, "It's very good, normally I don't much care for turnovers, but anything your aunt makes is incredible." Yes now I remember, The price thought, Mrs. Elena introduced me to her niece back then. We played together almost every day. That was a long time ago, though. "So," he said, "would you mind if I asked you to tell me a little about yourself?"

Lavonia Espinosa Lavonia was finishing her turnover when he asked her to tell him about herself. "I guess it depends on what you want to know Zelig."Lavonia said, not realizing that she had said Zelig instead of Zevedee. Then memories of living in the castle came to her and she remembered the boy that she had played with in the castle was named Zelig.Why did I call Zevedee Zelig? Could this really be Zelig but he's just using a different name?? It is him! Why didn't Auntie say something about it?!?Lavonia thought to herself as she looked back at him, looking into his eyes before tending to a customer. Once the customer was gone, she turned to him and said, "Why didn't you tell me it was really you in the first place? Then again it's been a very long time ago since we last saw each other years ago. How's life treating you these days Zevedee?"Lavonia asked him, using Zelig's cover name for now like she though he would want her to use while out in public like they were.

Elisedd Bragg  "Thankyou, Miss." said Elisedd Bragg as he took a meat pie from the young girl and handed her some coins to pay for it. Festivals are fun, but Bragg was not here for that. He was a professional duelist, bounty hunter, and mercenary, but above all else, a true warrior. He traveled the world with his companion Mine searching for challenges worthy of his prowess in combat. What brought them here today were stories of a young prince, with great skill. Once he was just out of sight of the booth Elisedd spoke, "What do you think Mine? She called him Zelig, but there's no reason a prince should be working a food booth at a festival. He sure had the ki though." Mine now jumped up to Elisedd's shoulder and bobbed her head. Elisedd held up a peice of the meat pie for her. "The scent of a blade hound, ey? Well I guess that settles it. Prince or not he's a warrior. A good one too, judging by his ki." He smiled to himself, already anticipating their duel. "Coming here was definitely worth while."And Mine!

Prince Zelig von Dale Zelig was surprised to hear Lavonia call him by his real name, he wasn't sure how to respond to it. Fortunately at that moment a customer stopped at the booth to buy a meat pie, and after Lavonia called him "Zevedee"again. She always was a bright girl, recalled the prince."It has been a while, I didn't recognize you at first," Zelig smiled at remeeting an this old friend. Life's been pretty fair to me, I've been learning a lot, and I make some money here and there doing odd jobs, sometimes. But I think I asked you first, how have you been?^_^

"That's good to hear and I do think that's good idea that you are spending time with the people." Lavonia said as she wondered how to say what has happened in the past few years to him."Well, for the past few years I have been training to be a harper and performing with a local troupe here. We're performing for the the kids before the games start today.Later on tonight, we'll be at the Silver Wheel performing but I need to go meet them now so I will have to go for now.Bye Zevedee and tell my aunt that I had to go." Lavonia said before leaving Zelig there at the food stall by himself. I hate that I had to leave Zelig by himself like that but hopefully we will have another chance to talk to each other later on.

 Viconia Artemis DeRio Viconia Artemis DeRio was a healer in the country of Artemisa. Viconia is a moon elf and was born with healing and earth magic. She has a mezzo-soprano singing voice which she can use to help strengthen her spells. Her prefered weapon is a bow and arrows and daggers at times while using magic as well. She was raised in the temple of Elyon in small village of Phoebe near the Isis river that runs through the capital of Artemisa before going out to the sea. She served as the healer there at the temple. When she was twenty-four years old, Iapetos came to the temple and saw her there and wanted her for his own. She refused his gentle requests to come with him and she was safe as long she stayed in the temple from him taking her. Iapetos has his way by tricking them by having someone needing Viconia's healing abilities to come help heal a farmer out on other side of the town that the temple was. The so called farmer's wife led her and the temple guard to a small cottage and after entering it, Viconia receive a hard blow to the head that knock her out cold. The temple guard didn't have a chance against Khazri and then Viconia was taken to Iapetos's harem.
She has gone through some terrible things that she doesn't want to talk about since arriving in Iapeto's harem. Thirty years have passed since Viconia was first brought there and there was now talk of Iapeto choosing some woman to be his queen. She heard rumors that there might be a female heir from the old rulers of Artemisa before Iapeto's reign but none were confirmed. Some of the other women in the harem were debating which one would make the better queen. Viconia didn't know that Iapeto would pick her to be his queen if they couldn't find a true female heir to the throne.
A few days later, she was given a message from Iapeto saying that he wanted her to meet with him. Viconia wondered what he was up to now and dared not to refuse him. Last time she tried that, forty whip lashes to her back side was her punishment and Vic wasn't able to move much for a few days. Now Viconia is being lead to her visit Iapeto with a escort(/messager), wondering what was on his mind and if any of the rumors that she had heard were true.
