[Zeta 7 is Entering here from the boss battlefield]
They kept moving as swiftly as possible, watching the resting place for Alpha Five and Ten get further and further away; out of sight, out of mind. Zeta seven kept moving till he felt it was a safe distance away from the battlefield and somewhat near their original base before he came to a stop to look around. It was a flat, barren and sandy beach. with slim to none cover other than the fog that enshrouded everything with a dense cloud of haze.
It wasn't the best situation to be in out here but, they had to make due. "Alright, lets set up camp here, hopefully the other members can follow our footprints in the sand to reach us." He plopped on the ground with undignified grace as he looked through his items and checked his firearm for any faults. It was a tiring first day, draining both physically and mentally for all. "How's everyone doing?" It felt like it needed to be asked, no matter how obvious the answer was.

[Zeta Six Entering from Boss Battlefield]
Zeta Six stopped and surveyed the area. It wasn't the best place to set up camp, honestly, but at least if anything came to them it'd be seen just as easily as they would be seen sitting there. He shrugged and plopped next to Zeta Seven, shoving his bag under him to use as a pillow as he fell down on it, his head resting against the pointy edges of his First Aid Kit. He wondered if should use it. He felt stinging among the charred bits of his suit, it wasn't life threatening but still hurt.
"Hopefully." he muttered, glancing to Zeta Seven, then back upward into the foggy sky. He felt heavy; his arms, his legs... his whole body just felt ready to lie in the sand and stay there. "Peachy keen." Six said, sighing heavily. "If this is what we have to look forward to, we have a lot of bumps ahead." His words would not be the ones to lighten the mood by any standard. Thoughts of Alpha Five and Ten came back and he shook his head to rid himself of them.
He was aware that if he continued to dwell on it the worse it would become until it hindered him from doing anything. Chills ran down his spine as the truth rang out loudly in his head. Those were the first, but they won't be the last you see die. He grabbed the sand under him in his fingers tightly. Next time it could be his group. Any of them, all of them, him... Death was all around them, stalking them closely and waiting for them. He closed his eyes to think. With Zeta Seven next to him he felt content, but the rest of his emotions were yet to follow suit. Camp tonight, but what tomorrow? He was beginning to think if he had in fact signed up for this it was obvious it wasn't what he imagined it would be. If only he could remember...
((Also going AFK for homework and sleep. Return tomorrow sometime.))

(Zeta Ten Entering from Boss Battle)
A part of her wanted to walk all night, put as much distance between them and the death and destruction behind them as they could, but once Zeta Seven stopped, she knew continuing on alone would be consigning herself to death. Instead, she stopped and sat beside them.
Zeta Seven's question threw her a bit, because it should have been obvious how they were doing. "I've been better," she answered. Although she couldn't say for certain if this was true, it seemed better than sarcasm, or trying make herself or any of the rest of them feel worse by expressing how she really felt. Zeta Ten hated not remembering what had brought her here, and she was determined to find out what had happened. Tomorrow.
((Also leaving for bed. Be back tomorrow sometime.))

Following the footsteps in the sand, zeta 9 stumbled into the small camp that had been made. Her body ached and stung, but she wanted to hold off on using her first aid kit for a bit, just incase. That manipulative horse creature could be just the tip of the iceburg.
Nine sat down heavily and drew her legs up to her chest, leaning her forehead on her knees.
"This sucks". It was a blunt as you could put it. This whole thing simply sucked. They had already watched one team turn against one another, influence by the mythical prize of a pendant. Who would be next? It was just a matter of time.

The wind was brushing past the makeshift camp, creating odd sculptures in the sand as it passed on by, a fleeting moment. How many fleeting moments did they have left, just one instant to make a decision and a limited lifetime to deal with its consequences. Zeta Seven wasn't surprised at the answers he received, agreeing with them all with a scoff and a heavy thunk of his arm dropping to the sand weightlessly. "Yeah, our beach day has gone to the dogs number Six" he said jokingly, trying to keep their spirits up. It was a futile effort but, somehow had to try and keep them together for a little bit longer, keep them sane, or human. He could take this moment to drop his guard around his allies.
Allies, such a funny word considering what it led to not long ago. Convenient partnership, maybe that's what he could call this. "Do you think the others will follow, numbers 2, 5 and 12... they ran off before we did." It was a puzzling question, if they chose to strike it out on their own or still stay loyal. Fives action over the one who shared the same number as him, it seemed pretty clear who he sided with. He picked up a stone by the camp and chucked it into the fog, maybe he would get lucky and hit someone hiding out there.
A crude detection system, but it was better than a surprise attack. It was still a game to survive after all. We should get some rest or heal if you want, there's still enemies afoot. he said as he picked himself up from the ground and stood a few feet in front of them. "I'll take the first watch, If someone feels inclined to share the duty with me, I wouldn't blame them." It make sense to Seven, they didn't know each other and they were supposed to rest their lives in his hands?
Was it going to be like this the entire time? This uncertainty, this unease, this paranoia about someone laughing while they twisted the blade deeper into your body? It was such a lovely thing to mull over as you watched the fog, waiting for it to eventually happen.

[ Zeta One is Entering from Boss Battle ]
Zeta One followed the group and curled into a ball on the sand, wanting nothing more than to just get some rest. She didn't tune out those around her, but she didn't talk to them either.
She just wanted some peace and quiet, and if that meant curling into a little ball, nunchucks held tight to her chest in the sand, so be it. She was scared, she was tired, and she just wanted to drift off into some dream world where she didn't have to be here.
A hard task to accomplish, but perhaps it would happen. Perhaps.

Their little group was growing slowly. Zeta Six lied there, eyes still closed. The boots made a distinct sound on the sand, it was calming. Almost. He let out a chuckle. "I'd rather deal with a fleet of dogs than this." Dogs were predictable, humans weren't. He opened his eyes slowly. "I wouldn't mind staying up for a while." With a groan he sat up, grabbing his bag and pulling it around. "It's been a trying day for everyone, and in case we get jumped you'd probably need the guy with the band-aids."
There was a silence then, as Six looked around around at the small group. So many now down to so few, but at least they all seemed to be on the same page. "You guys can rest if you like." He said, shifting his weight in the sand. "I doubt I'll really be able to sleep." His back hurt, it was still charred.
He stared at the kit. "To use or not to use..."

Exhaustion coursed through her body, but Zeta Ten was still recovering from what had happened, sleep was not an option. Her legs were slightly charred, and her heart ached so when Zeta Six suggested staying up, she thought she would be better off staying up with him.
"I'm not going to be able to sleep," she announced, after Six did. Rubbing her wounded legs lightly, not sure if she wanted to use her bandages or not yet, she looked up. The fog distorted everything. She couldn't even tell if there was a sky anymore. Sighing she couldn't help but note that the fog matched everything else, a large mess with no end in sight.

The group was growing ever so slowly as another orange clad member came trudging in from the sand. Zeta Seven watched the person make his way past his hefty form without batting an eye to rest next to the others. His tongue felt heavy in his mouth, wanting to ask if number one would be alright, but she didn't look like she was up for talking. With a heavy sigh Zeta Seven turned back around and focused on the fog around him, we all deal with stress and dilemmas in our own way after all, he wasn't one to judge.
He feet shuffled back in forth in the sand as he began to pace and patrol the area, mindless movement to keep himself busy, no matter how much his heat scarred body protested. It was much better than thinking and dwelling. The gentle shifting of the sand was more comforting than the pregnant silence that engulfed them. He listened with half an ear as some of the other members decided to share in the duty. He couldn't help but smile at the moment of unity that fluttered between them. Or paranoia about leaving themselves completely defenseless for the briefest of moments. Again, he couldn't blame them for feeling like that.
Looks like I'm not the only one who restless huh? Sure join in, the more the merrier. Ten, five lets spread out a bit He told them as he made his way over to the side of the camp, creating enough space to still talk, but also to monitor an even larger range around the group. He dug his foot in the ground as he thought, about the deceiving pony, the fallen, the possible ways to escape. He was out of it for awhile as he woke up from his reverie.
His foot was standing in a foot wide circular pit. Thankfully no one could see his blush as he furiously filled the hole he made in the ground. You know. he started, calling out to the others nearby. In the chance that number Eight....never shows up he tongue felt like lead when he said that, he didn't want to crush their possible hopes of her showing up, but there was always the chance she'd never arrive, he knew it, but did they?
"If she never shows up, what do you all want to do? stay neutral or..... take out the competition? Way to drop the bomb on them Seven. "We can't stay in this area forever and heaven knows its not safe here." And so, with a heavy heart, he began to dig a hole in the ground again.

It was that bluntness that Zeta Six respected. "She might not." he said quietly, but felt the truth of the words. When he had seen her in those last moments she had been trailing after Alpha Seven. What could be done about it? Nothing could be. Each of them had to do what they thought was the best way to survive. So be it.
He shifted again as he sat, listening to the distant waves as the atmosphere around the group seemed to droop down. There was no helping the situation, it was a serious matter and here they were, trapped in it. He looked at Zeta Seven and swallowed slightly, finding the right words.
"Seven." He began, looking him over carefully. "I don't want to sit on the sidelines anymore." He looked at his fellow Zetas who he was sure felt meek and defeated, then looked back to Seven. "I can bandage everyone here so we're back to full health. After that... I think your observation is right, we aren't safe here. But I doubt we're safe anywhere. Not that I enjoy watching death." He paused, the words wanted to choke him but he pressed on. "If we don't... attack first then we will only watch each other die."
He let the words sink and looked around, taking out his bandages. "I'll start this, but I want to go in order of most hurt." He looked around again. "Seven, how much pain are you in?"

Even if Zeta Seven knew it in his heart, and even expected to hear that from Number Six.... it still hit him hard like a ton of bricks. "Yeah, I know." was all that he could choke out to himself. His mouth had a bitter taste in it. Like nasty phlegm that needed to be expelled from his body lest he choked on it.
He dared not to move an inch, he wasn't sure if he could hold his composure much longer if he did. The howling of the wind was long and unrelenting in his ear. They were in a dire situation and help.... help might never come for them. The bitter taste was so overpowering, it was nauseating.
He tore himself out of his mental beat down to look over at Six, steeling his body and his heart for the sake of the others. It was admirable and inspiring. Seven had to do the same for them as well. "Your right Six, we have to act as well." he said with a steady voice. "Even if they share the same color, an enemy is an enemy."
His eyes locked onto the bandages that Six pulled out of his kit, he almost forgot that he had those this entire time, pulling at an end of it to see if it was really there. "Don't worry about me for now." he waved a hand in the direction of the others that were around. "Take care of yourself and the other members first, I'll be fine for now." he told the medic reassuringly, while thumping his own chest with his arm.
He was strong like bull, he'd be fine. If only Six had bandages for his betrayed and bleeding heart, now that would be another story.

[Zeta Six is using Bandages on Zeta Ten]
All Zeta Six could do was nod. It was an odd realization, one that made him feel dark and disturbed down through his very core. They were not a large group, but he already felt that they were better off together more than they were apart. Silent, he looked at the four souls near him. Together they could do it, he was sure of that. What he wasn't sure of though was how their morals would hold in. Watching the reds kill each other had already sent his askew. "If you say so." he said to Zeta Seven, bringing himself to stand and head over to Zeta Ten.
"We'll have to take shifts of more than one though, at least two at a time." He continued. "That is, if everyone here is willing to be a group." He glanced around again as he crouched to Zeta Ten.
"Hey there cupcake." He said, gently. "Let me take a look."
Carefully he looked her over, the suit had taken a bit of damage but he could see that bloodied and burned flesh was sticking out of her suit on her back. Taking her arm and lifting it up he took some bandages and applied them to the area, making precise aim to cover the wounds up fully.
"It shouldn't get infected now, and you'll feel a bit better I think." He smiled under his suit. "Guess none of us will play with fire now." He made a chuckle, though it wasn't that funny. He wasn't even sure if any of them would see fire again.

Nine listened to Seven talk. He did have a point... Everyone else had said that they didnt want to kill but after what happened back further along the beach this surely could not be true for everyone. It was becoming a situation of eat or be eaten - kill or be killed
"I agree" she said, lifting her head off of her knees so that she could survey the people and area around her. "If we dont fight then we could be considered a weak target, and we'll get attacked anyway. If I'm going to die here i'm not going down without a fight"

Zeta Ten smiled at Six as he bandaged her back, wincing slightly but appreciating it. "Thank you," she said, watching him move on, not even knowing if he heard her. Something about the medic's morale, or his ability to appear strong, struck her as inspiring. She had been looking at this wrong. Yes, her morale was messed up, she didn't know if they were going to make it, but with this team, she thought she could face this. At least, she hoped she could. Death and destruction with little to no hope of rescue or survival is a hard thing to think about facing, but she needed to prove she was strong enough.
She needed to figure out how to cope with what she had seen. What was the old adage... If it doesn't kill you it can only make you stronger? That seemed right. She wasn't dead, none of them were yet. She had a weapon, and took a deep breath, choosing to steel herself and use it the next time it was necessary. Zeta Ten wasn't going to stand back and do nothing next time they were attacked. It was time she proved herself.

[Zeta Six is using Bandages on Zeta One]
"You're not done yet, but it'll help, I'm sure." He said, standing and brushing sand from his legs. He nodded to her thank you. "It's what I do." He couldn't bring himself to say anything otherwise, not with his current mood. "I'll be back in just a second."
He wanted to make sure to get everyone's main wounds out of the way before continuing his patch-up. This was his purpose, this right here. He was useless on the front lines but this he could do and do well. "I really am the medic." he mused, approaching Zeta One. She too had gotten hit by the fire and several cuts had opened on her suit.
With almost the same precision he began to place small bandages around the wounds, making sure to cover everything that was bleeding. "Not perfect, but better." He said quietly. "You'll be alright, I think."
