While perusing the Exchange the past few days, I've seen alot of threads with outrageous AB's, as you all know. But I've seen a few with L.A.I.D. members running them. I know we all want inflation to go down so we can buy gaia items more comfortably, but that means you can't buy into it and sell pendants for 135k or laurels for 105k. I'm not here to insult people, point fingers, or boss anyone around. But maybe if we made selling our items for pre-inflation prices a little more accessable, it might really encourage some people. I know Lucifer has the L.A.I.D shop, but I'm not really sure if it's for everyone's selling use, or how it would really work. If we'd sell to Lucifer for a low price and then he'd re-sell for a low price in the way he's selling- not just letting anyone come in and buy one, or if we'd have to make our own thread- which is alot of work, especially if we're only selling one item, such as the anklets or a Staff of the Angels. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on this?

That makes a lot of sense. I really have nothing to sell, so I can't say that I'm one of those people. But I'm really hard on money so chances are if I ever got my hands on one of those items, I'd probably want to make a lot for it. I know it sounds greedy, but in order to help other people you kind of have to have a bit of money for yourself first.
I totally understand though. It sounds kind of hypocritical, but I'm sure almost everyone is guilty of doing it. Although I'll do what I can to avoid that problem. Next time I sell an item such as that, I will try to lower the cost a great deal.
I like the way you think. :3

I try to mediate a 'happy median' so to speak
Because, in the long run, there are pixels I want, and a marketplace -IS- a constantly changing thing
but yeah, I try to make money, but not sell for an overpinflated price (But I don't really have most items that get inflated)

Hm... You're right! A LAID thread would be great. My items alone isn't much. Also if you see LAID members selling for unreasonably inflated prices please tell me via PM.

To add to this, dont report LAID users for just having a high AB. an AB is usually ridiculous. 3nodding
But on small items, it's a different matter. i'm currently selling a Zombie labcoat, to try and get it to lower, i'm asking for lower than 200k, compared to the market's wannabe 250k+ confused

I ususally don't put ABs on anything when I sell, I don't like selling stuff for all pure anyway.
Only time I put ABs is on 03 items sometimes. sweatdrop

Hmmm, That is definitely counter-productive. In any case, the last two sales I made were these two: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12176148http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12142703These are all run-ups to a project I am still working on. I do not need help, but it would be nice if people would message me if someone were selling an item I sold them so I can add them to my black-list. At one point in time, I had helpers to ascertain if someone is a mule or not. Since I do not have that at this time, I have to monitor those that buy from me myself. That is quite time consuming. I do not need to sell, nor do I need to really buy. Most of what I do, are things that I find might be fun, so, I can not add to any suggestion here. Besides, currently I am merely a fringe member around here any how. The idea makes sense, however something similar to this we have been doing in the Swap n Shop which I am a part of. However, I never had to use it, since that was made for some type of equitability. It works well in a sense, but for people like me who just sell for the fun of it and to be evil, well I would not have to use it. Still, in the end it is in the basis of trust. Do you guys want it to go through one account, or do you want the transaction to be done by yourself.
