History: Drogo was among the many orphans taken in by a small organization of sorcerers experimenting with runes and other related forms of magic. During his infancy, he was inscribed with runes which tied him, body and soul to a variety of people and creatures born under his same conditions in other realms, the spell coming to completion when he was about five. The sorcerers managed to focus the runes towards humanoids, but caused the other beings to have majority control, leaving Drogo to be himself only when he slept. When Drogo was about 11, Crystallis Research Academy staged a raid on the sorcerer's base to steal all the materials they had for their own experiments. In the confusion, Drogo - or rather one of his alter egos - managed to escape into the nearby woods. They stumbled into a town, and managed to find pity in an innskeeper. A traveler by the name of Wentho befriended Jace, one of Drogo's alter egos, and they traveled for a while together, Drogo hiding his condition from Wentho for years before it finally was discovered. Wentho, unsure of how to react, requested that Drogo remain as Jace and everything should be fine. Unfortunately, the other egos, enraged at being imprisoned for so long violently broke free, releasing Drogo's crocodile alter ego to kill Wentho. Drogo has tried not to befriend anyone since then, but Jace rather enjoyed Wentho's company and so still tries to make friends.
Special: Drogo only looks like himself when he is asleep, but he is conscious and able to converse with his other alter egos, including the one currently in control, when he is awake. Any ego can take control, or grant control to another ego, usually by force of will.
