Okay, I'll start off by introducing myself:
My real name's Casey. I'm a Junior in High School. My interests fall among the Arts and Literature. I'd love to Major in Art and possibly either do a double Major with English or Minor it that. While I'd also love to Minor in Music. I'm one of the top Art students in my school and I'm attempting to join AP Art next year. Next year I will also be a part of the Elite Choral group of my high school: Chamber Choir. The choir is small so that the music can be fine tuned. There are a lot of a cappello pieces and the majority of the pieces are not in English. Solos are prevelent.
I really like to have indepth conversations about philosophy, art, and books. And even if I'm accused of being someone with no social life off of the internet, it's quite untrue. I'm very social. And I hang out with my myriad of friends. I attend the school dances when I'm in town, and I see a lot of movies with differing groups of friends.
I LOVE music. All kinds. The two exceptions that quite frankly disgust me are Rap and Pop. Why? Because very few exhibit true vocal talent. There are the occasional pieces that harbor lyrical genius, but not very often. Therefore, I tend to stray away from those genres.
So...who's next? biggrin

Hm...I guess I'll introduce myself...
My real name is Julia. I'm a junior in high school, also. A very small school...about 400 kids (a senior class of about 80 and a freshman class of about 140).
I love acting (and writing), and as my friends always say, "acting is lying, just skillfully".
If something else comes up that I think I should put here, I will...but I don't really know what to type at the moment...so...

I'll introduce myself now...
My real name (is scared of giving it out) is Katie. Myeh, I don't like it too much.
I'm a sophomore in high school, and I want to be an astrophysicist as a career. I'm so obsessed with the cosmos.
My favorite book genres are Science Fiction (fav author is Cordwainer Smith) and fantasy.
One of the first things I ask new friends is: "What are your religious, philosophical, and political views?" cuz it's fun knowing that stuff.
I love to draw and write....and play video games...hmm....Favorite bands are Malice Mizer, Dir en Grey, Yes, Moody Blues......but i also love opera and choral music....I went to see the LA Master Chorale perform 'Carmina Burana' and 'Wedding in the Night Garden' yesterday! It was fantastic...

I've played the cello for 11 years and I love art (both visual and performing). Let's see, my favorite class a acting, and my least favorite class is French. I have four gerbils and no siblings. I am sorry, I only hate french because the students aren't taking LATIN! Heh....my school's Latin and French clubs are having a bowling contest next Saturday! >_< rah i took spanish. our school doesn't offer cool languages like latin and italian and greek. just plain old french and spanish. neutral and it was good in middle school...because we actually learned things...but then the high school teacher couldn't tell a scorpion from a frog from a crab stare

Sounds like my high school french teacher. Which is why I took two years and stopped. That's all I need to get out of high school. So there. I'd really like to learn latin and greek. She came over from Luxemburg and from being a third grade teacher to a high school teacher. stare Aaaaah, my French teacher is seriously neurotic. She is not just your average weirdish teacher, she is definitely crazy. Like she has nicknames for all of us, she talks to herself while we're taking tests, and she speaks in French to students in the hallways who don't speak French and get totally freaked out by it. And that's just the beginning... She scares me. eek Not to mention her impossible tests and ridiculous grading curve. Sorry for the tirade there.
