Drathi HP: 400
Drathi waited for Emma to arrive. It was a completely open field, perfect for all of their magical attacks. When she arrived, he bowed to her.
"Thank you for doing this, Emma," he told her. "Let us begin." He made the first move by starting off with his signature attack. Only, this time the ice stalagmites that homed in on the Enchtantress were moving far faster and were larger than the ones the boy usually conjured.

Emma had expected some sort of pleasantry before the duel began and was thus caught off-guard when an icicle pierced her shoulder. A fire spell melted the projectile quickly and healed the wound, but the enchantress was thrown off nonetheless.

Drathi was a bit surprised that he had managed to hit Emma at all with the attack. Dodging Emma's counter attack, the boy lifted the ice stalagmites from the ground with his magic and threw them at her.

This time, she was more prepared for the attack, but one of Drathi's icicles managed to strike her in the leg, just grazing her calf.

Drathi stopped his barrage. "Sorry," he said, noticing Emma's face when his attack just grazed her. "I didn't expect them to hurt you that much, even with a graze." He stopped and waited for her to regain her composure, before continuing. This time, he summoned a small blizzard around her.

A gust of icy wind caught Emma, driving her back a few paces and sending her sprawling head over heels.
Something cracked and Emma was sure that a sprain had occurred.

Stopping the Blizzard, Drathi summoned up multiple balls od cold energy and sent them flying at Emma at different angles. He did not realize Emma had possibly sprained something.

By redirecting it, Emma had changed the element of Drathi's spheres. The mage was unable to dodge all of his spheres, getting hit square in the chest by a couple. Sliding back, he grinned. He was wondering when Emma was going to fight back. This time, the boy tapped his staff off the grounnd, freezing it. He had a feeling Emma would be able to avoid getting herself stuck to the ground, or frozen entirely. It was more for the change in enviroment. The two would be sliding everywhere as Drathi approached her for close combat.

The sprain was making things difficult, but Emma managed to avoid being rooted to the ground by the freezing spell.
Sliding along the ice, the enchantress called up a spear of earth, hopefully throwing Drathi off-guard.

"Gah!" Drathi gasped as the spear of earth grazed his side, cutting him. It was not a deep wound, but it drew blood. Gritting his teeth, he slid over to Emma and swung his staff at her, shaping the ice so that she would slide towards him.

A wall of earth rose up to prevent the enchantress from getting any closer to him.
At Emma's behest, vines broke through the layer of ice, sinking thorns into Drathi's skin.

"Ugh..." Drathi groaned. Not this again... It was just as painful as when Emma's past-self used her whip to bind his wrists. The thorns dug into his skin, but the boy knew that the pain was just more of an annoyance compared to what Emma was actually capable of. Pushing through it, he froze the vines. Shattering a small section of the ice-field he send the shards all flying towards Emma.They were innaccurate, but with Drathi's magic, they moved very quickly.

Emma would cut her cursing short, for she would find herself in the middle of a blizzard that covered the whole arena. Drathi disappeared--Blizz-Warping-- and reappeared behind her, attempting to hit her with a blast of cold energy at point blank.
