FILE NAME // m0r_primary_v35_win64.scr
CLASSIFICATION // trojan
RUN TIME // 49723 hours
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE // facilitating creation of botnet
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE // data theft and/or deletion
DATA // once morpheus has infiltrated a system he will begin work setting up another link of the botnet. the original intention for the botnet was for mass data collection but since morpheus is not longer under the command of a user, the net is for his own personal gains. currently the ever growing net is running a search program.
PERSONALITY // morpheus can come across as a pretty lazy guy. he spends a lot of time using his bot net just to spy on what people are doing, but never seems to do anything. he enjoys deceiving people into destroying their own work, he hides in disguise in someone's OS until they get curious and try and run his fake program. obviously once this happens their computer just becomes another link in the net.
HISTORY // when morpheus was first created, he was a small piece of useless adware. his creator used him for his work for larger companies. over the months his base program was tinkered with incredibly often, always being improved and built upon and added to. he didn't become a trojan virus until after his creator lost his job. he was bitter and annoyed at the company for firing him and wanted to get his own back. he spent many a long day altering the base code of mopheus' programming and it was at this point that it gained sentience. with morpheus becoming self aware, he was able to take incredibly specific orders from his creator. what started out as a simple 'revenge' became a tad more destructive. at first morpheus was used to embezzle and then scew with the companies computer network, but after that, his creator had a taste of being bad. he developed morpheus even further and began sending him into other networks to create a bot net, which would enable his creator to steal massive amounts of data in a single moment. after a few years morpheus began to tire of taking orders however, and stopped listening to his creator, often breaking in to large systems and adding to the net. morpheus began infiltrating systems with ever growing levels of security and this frightened his creator. he was scared of being caught, so tried to terminate morpheus. he failed after multiple attempts and only managed to anger morpheus. after this, his creator fled his home. he had heard of programs coming to life, coming right out of the screen and he was terrified of what morpheus would do to him for trying to shut him down. he went into hiding, somewhere away from technology and left morpheus running wild.
