Suki is alone most of the times, except for the weekends.
And I get the idea she doesn't like that at all.
She scratched the wallpaper off, mews a low, she seems bored and she sleeps a lot, also, she seems to eat more than usual too.
(she got her check up not long ago. So we suppose it's nothing medical.)
So we have been thinking that maybe it's a better idea to give her some company from another cat.
There's one problem. She's bossy. Really bossy. She has never met other cats beside her uncle. And the other cats in this building. But she wants those cats in this building gone.
So, is it a good idea for another kitty?
Not to mention the extra costs. xP
My boyfriend and I still aren't sure.

We don't trust the people and the neighborhood here. ninja We tried putting her on a leash and go to the balcony, but she freaked out completely. You have to let it interact or else it'll get worse.
Even on a leash, you should let it roam around from time to time.

T a e P a n d o What if Suki doesn't like the other kitty? gonk she won't like the kitty for the first day. It's a strange kitty that suddenly gets into her home. I asked my aunt, who owns 7(!!!) cats. She told us how to work it out. When she got a new cat, she told me it took two weeks for the other cats to get used to them.

Show her that shaking the treat container means there's treats.
Then you can let her out and get her back whenever you want. Hell, try going out with her the first few times.

I don't think I'd get another cat if she's already territorial with cats that aren't even in the house/apartment. She might start marking stuff or something.
My cat is usually happy if I just open the blinds for him and give him a spot to stare out of it. I only give him one bowl of food a day, so if he eats it all, that's it...that keeps him from overeating...though he weighs around 20lbs, so I don't think it really helps. And I'm pretty sure he would be dead within the day if I left him outside. No survival instincts in a fat, pampered house cat.
