Need I say more????? xd He won in the "Best Actor in a T.V. Drama" section, which I knew he would when I saw him walking in and I heard the name of the section, but when my sister and I saw the proof about 10 minutes ago, we screamed, like we were surprised!!!!!

And the best part about it was that HE DOES HAVE A BRITISH ACCENT!!!!!!!!! blaugh And that he's funny, b/c he actually put names on pieces of paper to read, and he took out one of them and was like, "the hell w/ this one," and his wife was there, and his kids were home IN ENGLAND and he was like, "Go to bed!," which I also knew he'd do mrgreen rofl ...and...and...*takes deep breath* I'll stop now. sweatdrop

and what's cool about it is that I haven't really watched any awards show before, so it's awesome that one of my favorite actors won an award biggrin

I woke up this morning and put the TV on, to find that two of my current favourites (actor and film) had won awards! Brokeback Mountain, and Hugh Laurie. I was doubly happy heart ~
Plus Anthony Hopkins won a lifetime achievement award. I was very pleased about that. Welsh Pride for all whee

When my mom called upstairs to me saying Hugh Laurie won the Golden Globe, my first reaction was 'the golden globes are on now'? Then when I turned on my tv and saw him reading off names from his paper I was so happy! That whole 'go to bed' thing with his kids was funny, too. x3
