Rishima tugged at the sleeves of her kimono before looking at her mother for approval with a grin peeled upon her face. As she spun around in a circle and spoke with a bright sing song voice, "I look ok?" Her mothers approval was something Rishima loved to get, something that meant alot to her.
Smiling softly she skipped towards her mother and tugged at her sleeve softly. The cakes she had been baking all morning smelt delicious and she couldn't wait to taste them, of course they where waiting on their guest. A man that made Rishima nervous.
Chandra turned to look at her daughter and pulled her tightly to her side, "You look.... stunning!" She said smiling softly and sorting out her daughters collar. This was a test in a way, her daughters kimono was designed to be cover up most of her 'oddities'. The long sleeves that where mainly used as pockets in a normal kimono where hiding her wings, they had done it so that the fabric allowed her arms to move freely. Amerald had helped her order special shoes to cover Rishimas taloned feet and make them appear like normal feet. She didn't really like them which was part of the reason why Chandra had made her a longer kimono that covered most of her.
Letting her now wiggling daughter go she finished the chocolate icing on yet another cake. So far she had made a strawberry tart, a cake known as 'death by chocolate', a victoria sponge cake topped with cream and strawberries, a pineapple upside down cake and finally a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. They smelt nice but Chandra couldn't help but believe that her mothers cakes would have been so much better.
Finally finished she turned and picked up her little girl. As always Rishima smiled softly at her and giggled playfull, it made her heart want to soar as high as a mountain. She would protect this delicate little creature for as long as she could.
"Now, are we all ready? Do you remember what I told you?" Chandra asked softly. Chandra hoped with all her heart that this disguise worked, not because she was embarassed in any way of her daughter but she wanted to take her out, show her part of the world that where exciting and full of adventure. She didn't like Rishima basically being a prisoner in her own home only to be allowed to go out at night.
Rishima giggled and wiggled in her mothers arms until she heard her question, she stilled and snuggled into her mother as she answers. "Be nice. Polite. And smile." She said with a grin as she looked up at her mother once more. Of course she understood what her mother was trying to do- she also wanted it to work. Either way she loved the cloths her mother had made for her.

Jonas sat silently in his inn looking over his notepad one last time before placing it carefully in his back pocket. As he stood up and went to the mirror he looked himself over making sure he was presentable.
Finally he left the room leaving behind his trench coat that held his cigars and flask. It was another one of those clothing optional days so he didn't bother with it.
As he pulled out the slightly crumpled paper from his pocket then he stared at Chandra's address for a moment before remembering where the neighborhood was located. He made his way quickly to it already running late as he walked.
After a while he finally worked his way to her door he stopped and checked his clothing at her door. His dress shirt pressed and clean with the top button always open, and his slacks clean and pressed.
Finally he went and knocked on the door several times and waited silently looking around the neighbor hood. It was pretty fine.

Both Chandra and Rishima turned towards the door of their ground floor appartment. Quickly Chandra placed Rishima down on her two feet and watched as she instantly darted towards the door. Happily Chandra followed her.
Rishima giggled softly as she opened the door, and smiled up at the man who was much taller than her and said, "Welcome." As she moved with the door so she could hold it open for him.
Her mother was walking towards them and made it just in time to offer her hand to the stranger. Rishima watched them softly and couldn't help but giggle, there was something about the man and her mother that made her smile.... why had she gone to all the effort or bakings o many cakes?
Chandra smiled softly to Jonas, "Nice of you to come, welcome." She looked to Rishima and gave her a slightly odd look, what was she giggling about? Curious but not willing to ask just yet she turned her attention back to her guest. "Come in and make yourself at home. This is my daughter Rishima." She said as she held her hand out towards her daughter.

As Chandra and Rishima moved to the door Jonas could only make out one pair of feet which he figured was Chandra. When the door suddenly opened he blinked in surpise seeing Chandra still walking toward the door then he heard the sweet voice and looked down with a surprise look on his face.
As he stood there he was at a total loss. Didn't Chandra say that she was infertile? Maybe adoption...but she looked a lot like her mom. Also why was their a streak of red on her face, was it make-up? It might of been a tattoo but it reminded him of others marking he seen like that. "Uhh, Thank you for the warm welcome." He said after hesitating for a moment and stepped into the house.
"Sorry for being late. I had a busy morning." He said smiling at her as he looked at the little girl. "Rishima, it's a beautiful name..." He said still with that bewilder look on his face. "She looks just like you, Chandra." He said smiling then turning and bowing slightly to Rishima, "It's my pleasure to meet you Miss Rishima."
Now he realized that the kimono was made from the fabric she must of bought the other day. As at the girl he kept trying to remember something, the marking was either a extremely high quality paint or it was natural. He seen something similar to that but where was it? The marking was the only thing that stood out to him, everything else though was just a normal little girl.

Chandra's heart was thumping so hard as she watched Jonas's reaction. He kept looking at the marking on Rishima's head, it was the one thing she hadn't entirely figured out what to say about. Though right now the most plusable explaination was likely to be to blaim it on a cultural thing.
Rishima closed the door and ran straight into her mothers arms. "Mummy!" She chirped happily, as she turned to wave at the tall man who had entered their home. Then she let go and skipped happily into the kitchen.
Chandra watched her leave before chuckling softly and smiling, "Sorry, she is easily excited. And no worries about being late, we only just finished." She didn't know what to say about Rishima looking like her, it was true since they shared DNA despite the fact that Chandra was infertile. Deciding to make light of the situation she smiled softly and spoke, "You're not going crazy. I did not give birth to her like I told you last time I am infertile..." She smiled softly and half wanted to make an exuse about her actually being her sisters daughter that she had adopted. Yet she couldn't bring herself to deny it.
She loved her daughter very much.
"Anyway.... I have a lot of different cakes for you to try and pick through. Would you like some tea?" She said as took in his appearance, he seemed to have gone to a lot of effort for a simple slice of cake at the home of his long ago friends daughter. "You look very smart Jonas. It suits you!"

As he watched Rishima run off into the kitchen he blinked for a moment then nodded his head. He already came to a conclusion. "Ahh well I guess my timing is pretty well then." He spoke with a light air as he gave her a smile then it frowned slightly hearing her speak. "I understand. It is amazing how much you look alike." he said nodding his head.
"So what tribe does she come from? I seen markings like that in tribes." He said curiously. He didn't have a reason to think she was a Hraapea, but he knew wild tribes often gave members markings for rank or achievements. "I have to say though, that tattoo must of took a lot of high quality ingredients."
A large childish grin came on his face hearing about the cakes. "I hope so! I could smell them through the door, had my mouth watering. I would love some." He said looking himself over. "Why thank you. Although I should force you to make my clohtes, your daughter dress is gorgeous." He mused not knowing the difference between a kimono and a dress.

"Perfect timing," she chirped as she smiled at him sweetly again, she would have offered to take his coat but it seemed he wasn't wearing it today. "This way for the cake then!"
She started towards the kitchen and saw her daughter setting the counter with three plates, forks and spoons. "Excellent work Rishi!"
Rishima looked back towards them and giggled before walking towards Jonas and looking up at him before holding his arms, it was something she did a lot. She liked hugs and physical contact, and although this was a 'test' she knew that her mother wouldn't bring someone into their home would was a real threat to her. "Hug?" She chirped softly, unsure what he was going to do.
Chandra looked a little scared as she watched her sweet innocent daughter ask for a hug. What would he do?

He took in a deep lingering whiff of the scents of the cakes lingering lazily through the air. "I forgot how good fresh baked cakes can smell!" He said following behind her his mouth starting to water.
"Wow, she's quit the helper. Did she help you make the cakes?" He asked as he looked down at Rishima amused at the hug. She was so cute but he did find it kind of weird that she just randomly ask for a hug. "Sorry dear your not supposed to hug strangers. Maybe before I leave though." He said looking at Chandra.
He looked back at Rishima for a moment and being this close he could make out that it differently wasn't a tattoo and that he seen it someplace before feeling came back. He has seen it somewhere else, not like this but the way it looked natural. Also Chandra just seemed to avoid his question about what tribe. Jonas decided he concentrate on it later, then looked back at Chandra as if nothing happened.
"So what kind of cakes did you make for Mr. Knows he got a pretty face?"

Chandra has avoided some of his questions, she disliked lying and so felt that avoidance would be key since she couldn't just tell him the truth. No matter how much she wanted to. Sighing softly opened her arms out so her daughter could run into them for a hug. "Come here sweetheart, Jonas is right. Strangers bad!" She teased as she pulled a tongue at him as she took her little girl into her arms.
She walked towards the counter and placed her daughter onto the stool. Chandra looked to him and smiled softly, "Just so you know Jonas, if you ever needed me to make you something I could always give it a go. But outside of Kimono's my skills are... limited shall we say." She smiled and then looked to the cakes, "So... we have..." As she named each one she pointed to them so he knew which was which, "strawberry tart, death by chocolate, victoria sponge cake topped with cream and strawberries, pineapple upside down cake and finally a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake"
She sat next to her daughter and pointed to the last stool. "So, what do you fancy 'Mr. Knows he has a pretty face'?"
Rishima sat happily on the chair and kicked her legs playfully as she looked at all the cakes. "Chocwate! Chocwate!"

He pulled a mock face of hurt at seeing Chandra stick her tongue out at him. "I'm not all bad. I do have a bit of a soul as of late." He said giving a wink to Chandra from their talk then folded his arms as he listened to Chandra explain each of the cakes to him.
"I couldn't ask that of you, that would be wrong of me. Besides I tear my clothes enough that my tailor created my own personal tab." He said with a embarrassed smile. "Hmm, death by chocolate sounds like a good way to go! I think she wants some too." He said chucking at Rishima but tilted his head catching a glimpse of her shoes. Something looked different from normal shoes.
He looked at Chandra's feet then realized it was nothing more then different shoe styling, he surprised a laugh at his own stupidity and suspicion. "Is chocolate all you like Rishima?" He asked to her.

Rishima shook her head and smiled again, "No.... strawwbees!"
Chandra smiled and stood up to pull the 'death by chocolate' cake towards them along with a knife. "What she means is that she pretty much likes everything, but Strawberries and chocolate are her faviourites." She smiled slightly and cut a slice of cake off for Jonas and then one for Rishima before finally cutting one for herself. She handed the first plate to her daughter, "Will you pass that to Jonas please?"
Rishima nodded and handed the cake over before looking at Jonas with a tilt of her head, "Why you hurt clothes?" Rishima loved her clothes and always did her best to take good care of them despite the fact her mother had never told her off for getting dirty or ripping them slightly, in fact her mother always said they where easily mended so it wasn't anything to worry about. Still, what did he do to damage his clothing so much?
Chandra sat down again but waited for Rishima and Jonas to take a bite first, she was biting her lip softly in anticipation. "What do you think?"

"Oh really now Miss?" He asked Rishima before looking at Chandra. "Ahh I see. You ever made her chocolate covered strawberries?" He asked before accepting his slice from Rishima. "Why thank you kindly." He said taking it carefully.
He smiled at Rishima's child innocence, it must have been wonderful to be a parent and see that. "Oh well, I fight monsters and save lost princess! So I often rip them slaying dragons and taking princess to get magical fabric!" He said smiling.
It was a partial truth, he seen a dragon like creature before but immediately let it fly bye when he was younger. And he ripped his shirt on a bush that day. Then when he left Chandra he magically snagged it on a wall and torn a the side of it wide open.
Finally he took a dramatically slow bite and was amazed on how it melted on his tongue. He turned slowly to look at Chandra with a blank face. "This right here...is the best cake I ever tasted." He said still looking at her. "It just...melted into chocolatey death in my mouth! I would marry your cake if I could." he said taking another bite enjoying it's succulent tastes.
((That's makes we want to have cheesecake and chocolate cake soooooo bad! Is that a actual cake?))

[[Yes it is a real cake XD. *loves cheesecake as well*]]
"Yes!" Rishima chirped happuly as she started to eat her own cake. She enjoyed it so much that she didn't notice that she covering her face in chocolate with each bite. She licked her lips and looked to Jonas and then her mother before declaring, "yummy!"
Chandra smiled at their reactions before finally taking a bite of her own, "yes I have, I have also made her chocolate cake with strawberries in with the cream and on top as a garnish." She said proudly as she continued to eat her cake.
Then as his next words hit her ears she found herself blush, "you are too kind Jonas.... they are not that good." She allowed her hair to fall over part of her face to hide most of it from him.
Rishima had been sitting quietly thinking about his words. Since she knew very little of the world outside of her home, books and stories she didn't know that dragons didn't really exsist. She was picturing Jonas slaying a creature with scales and four heads and eight wings. After a long while she said, "You get scared?" She finished the rest of her cake and pushed it away from herself as she turned to give Jonas her fully -chocolate faced- attentioned.

"You really do love cooking." He sai as he took another bite of his cake still enjoying it as much as the first. "I can't make derserts for the life of me!" He said laughing.
Jonas shook his head as he heard her speaking down on her ability. "Don't say that. This is the best cake I ever tasted. I'm amazed cake can even be this good!" As he looked through at her cheeks he wondered if she was blushing. He leaned slightly forward to get a better look.
He turned his head to looked down at Rishima as she asked him a question. She was so cute with her face cover in chocolate she really made him wish he had a kid. "Oh yes! I was very scared. It was much bigger then me. It was even able to shoot fire from hit's mouth!" He said before striking a heroic pose. "But, I tricked it and was able to beat it."
((I love me some cheesecake! I might get my mom to make me one before school starts.))

"Thank you again. And yes, it has always been a hobby of mine." She said with a smile as she gave up trying to hide her blush from him and Rishima.
"If you like it that much maybe I will just have to teach you how to cook it one day. Anyone can cook afterall." She was currently teaching Rishima to cook, and although she had done a lot of the work for these particular cakes Rishima had helped with a few of them and some of the finishing touches.
Rishima was so enthralled now by Jonas's tale that she was staring at him all expectantly. She loved hearing stories. She loved tell them too but wasn't very good yet. Her mother always encouraged her to use her imagination as much as possible. "Triwked it? How?"
Chandra noticed her daughters chocolate covered face so stood up and walked through the kitchen to the far cupboard where she pulled out some clothes before joining the pair again. "Sit still sweety," she said before wiping her daughters face, she wiggled and giggled but allowed her to do it. It always suprised her how happy Rishima was. "All clean."
She then looked to Jonas and then to the cakes, "Feel free to help yourself Jonas. And if you would like to take any with you you are more than welcome."
