11th August 2010 - In the early hours of the morning while not being able to sleep I started an ORP with Chandra getting utterly lost in her new home.
10th August 2010 - Set up Journal and first RP with Amerald (YDL) has been started.
9th August 2010 - Feather recieved. Dropped off page 418.
7th August 2010 - I won a semi-custom feather by Platepuss for winning the grand opening advertising contest with 185 points. The announcement was made page 373.

Personality:
Rishi is rather serene most of the time, she likes watching the world and trys to figure out why things work. For this reason she loves puzzles and will often sit for hours at a time trying to solve a pile of them. However she has a good memory, so after doing a puzzle once she refuses to do it again and looks instead for a bigger challenge. She is always trying to push herself and feels a great need to protect those around her.
There is only one way to describe how she holds herself and walks and that is 'majestic', it looks almost as if she is floating on water.
Habits:
She enjoys eating both meat and vegetables/fruit, however has a habit of smelling it before consuming. When she is dancing she has a habit to stop and scream before continuing as if nothing happened -it is believed to be a sort of memory of how cranes do their mating dance. She has a habit of being very lucky and winning most of the time without actually trying.
Likes:
She likes anything that is shiney or that looks pretty such as flowers. She enjoys dancing, drawing, and telling stories.

Chandra is a very happy character who loves the world, loves life. She chose to become a midwife because she wanted to help bring new life into the world and to see the smiles upon the faces of the new parents. She always hoped to have children of her own but never fell in love. Chandra rarely gets angry at anyone or anything thing but will usually 'mock anger' when she knows it is needs -such as for disipline. She has a fantastic imagination and always encourages others to explore their own. Chandra has a poor sence of direction and tends to get lost a lot -sometimes this can lead to trouble.

Appearance:
Chandra wears a short kimono, the top part of it has a black and white starry pattern which fades to white at the bottom with blue stripes upon it. On her back she has four wings strapped and on her head is a headband with two more. They are black and white in colour because she wants Koray to feel included and the 'same' as someone. Her ears are slightly pointed. Her eyes are bright blue, and her hair seems to shimmer from dark blue at the top and light blue below. It has a slight wave to it. She does however have a silver unicorn horn upon her head -she will usually pretend it is pretend like her wings but the truth is that it will always be part of her.
History:
Chandra was brought up by her father and mother (Maion and Sengdroma). Her father had grew up in an orphanage and fought his way to the ranks of a military general, however after a series of unfortunite events he was striped of his rank. It was shortly after that he met Sengdroma, together they opened a cafe and had Chandra.
Chandra was therefore born to these lands but it unknown where her horn came from, she has a theory that one of her parents must have had one but somehow got rid of it. It is not something they usually discuss.
Chandra was brought up in Aerr's near the Science District. As a child Chandra got herself lost on several occassions because her sence of direction is poor. She wandered into a rough neighbourhood where a man tried to grab her and take her into a building she didn't know, she screamed and screamed and screamed until finally someone came to her rescue. A doctor had heard her screams from the street and came running to help her, after she was free he took her back to the hospital to check she was ok before walking her home. It was from this very short trip to the hospital that she first got the idea of wanting to help others, and after that she often volenteered to do so afterschool and at weekends.
Once her studies where over Chandra went to medical school to learn to be a midwife and nurse, and since graduating at the top of her class she has been helping others ever since.
She often called 'the angel' by those she helps deliver babies for due to her slightly excentric outfit.
When she was 18 she fell in love with a man called Alistair, but after five years of trying to have a baby he gave up on her and left her, calling her the devils spawn and that was the reason why she was unable to conceieve. It turns out Chandra was born infertile but at this time she doesn't know it.
Reason for visiting Amerald's store:
Chandra is actually infertile but she doesn't know it, before she goes to get tested she wants to try every option since she is desperate to have a child of her own. So she goes to his store looking for several herbs to make a brew that is said to aid with conception and fertility.

They run a cafe called "Wings of the Moon" and thanks to Chandra's idea of wearing little wings on their heads they use it as an excuse to look different. In a way it hides the fact that they are so different. In the eyes of the public the cafe is considered sweet and traditional, severing homemade meals and cakes. Most people who venture there do so for one of Sengdroma's cakes. The family is seen as a little excentric.

Age: 52
Gender: Male
Relation to Chandra: Father
Occupation: Cafe owner, used to work for the military.
Appearance: Tall, dark and handsome are all good words to decribe Maion. He wears a suit that sparkles slightly under the light -he believes that a tidy and smart appearance are a must. He wears a headband with two little wings on it, his daughter Chandra suggested they all wear them for the cafe because the name is "Wings of the Moon". Maion uses it as an excuse to hide the remains of his horn, it was cut off in the orphanage he was brought up in. Mainly it is covered by his long black hair, but he is starting to get a few strands of silver.
Personality: Maion is strong and brave, he will do anything to protect his wife and family. Especially since they are constantly in danger due to his genes that gifted his children their horns. He feels it is his duty to aid those who can not help themselves.
Hobbies: Cooking, dancing with Sengdroma, and teaching children and teengers to fight.
Likes: Family, children, watching others having fun. His faviourite food is lemon chicken and rice but finds it hard to eat with chopsticks.
Dislikes: He can't stand liars or those who abuse others for their own gain. He dislikes cabbage.
History: Maion was born to these lands, and although he doesn't know it his parents reached these lands through the portals when those of 'difference' where allowed. Maion never found out what happened to his parents, they where believed to have been killed however it was not until much later that he discovered the reason was likely due to them being 'different' due to possessing horns. Maion was taken to an orphanage but as he grew to a child the start of a horn began to grow, one of the women who cared for him took pity on him and would cut it off before doing his hair so that it covered the stump. After a few years of this the horn just stopped growing.
When he reached adulthood Maion joined the army because he wanted to serve his country and repay it for bringing him up. He would fight for justice and truth, but soon learnt that there was those who used their power for their own gain. Maion would always do his best to avoid such actions however one day while he was policing a small market they stumbled across a woman who was stealing bread from stall. Maion's commanding officer ordered Maion to 'punish' the girl beyond what Maion saw fitting for the crime, and when he refused was beaten badly and left for dead on the street.
The woman who Maion had protected came to his aid and found a healer who saw to his wounds and patched him up, it took a while for him to heal but the woman stayed by his side telling him stories and visiting him often. Slowly he fell in love with her. So much so when he was healed he quit his job with the military, sold his home and most of his belongings so that he could do the one thing she had always dreamed of -open a cafe. The woman's name was Sengdroma, and a year after they met they were married and owners of a small but busy cafe called "Wings of the Moon". They where happy and began to start a family. First they had Io, then Mal and finally Chandra.
Now Maion enjoys a fairly relaxed life, helping his wife out with her dream cafe, watching his children grow and develop. As a hobby Maion enjoys teaching children and teenagers to fight.

Relation to Chandra: Mother
Occupation: Cafe owner
Appearance: She has long blue hair and fair but pale skin. She wear a kimono with lillypads upon it, and despite appearing to be small and fragile has a temper that would scare even a giant. She earns the respect of those around her and is capable of looking after herself despite the fact her husband and children seem to think otherwise.
Personality: Sengdroma is a woman of very few words, seeing no reason to waste them on idle things. She loves making people happy and doing her part to ensure those around her are doing well. Because of this she will often give the left overs to beggers and homeless people believing that it is a shame to waste it.
Hobbies: Baking, singing, and dancing with her husband.
Likes: Baking, chocolate, chocolate and did I mention... chocolate? She also loves strawberries and anything sweet. She also enjoys watching her husband struggle with chopsticks, somthing she was brought up using but finds it endearing that he continues to try.
Dislikes: Carrots, for some reason she just can't stand them.
History: Sengdroma was born to these lands and brought up in the traditional ways of her family, she learnt to cook, use chopsticks, dye fabric and even make her own clothes. Her parents both worked in a factory, but one day it went out of business, they tried everything to make ends meat -her mother even sold herself for money, unfortunitly as the months went by no new opportunities presented themselves and as the bills started to pile up they where forced to the streets. Her mother Vara died shortly after becoming sick which left her father Scythe to look after her. One day while at the market she found herself stealing a loaf of bread so that they could eat for the first time in a week, she was however caught by Maion and another officer. Luckily for her the dark haired stranger attempted to protect her, unfortunitly he was badly injured for his mercy and so she dragged his injured body to relative safety and asked her father to help her care for him. As the days turned into weeks, and then months she fell in love with him.
When he was fit enough to go out into the world again she thought her heart would break and that he would leave her, however to her suprise he returned to her and offered all her hopes and dreams on a silver platter. So excited she rushed to tell her father only to discover he had died and in his hand was a not reading:
"To my dearest daughter,
Now that you are no longer alone I can finally join your mother.
Remember that we will always watch over you little one,
and that if you just believe you can fly to the stars and the moon itself.
Have courage and strength.
Enjoy life to the full.
Forever your loving father,
Scythe."
This letter was the catalyst for the cafe's name "Wings of the Moon"

Relation to Chandra: Older Sister
Occupation: Works in the cafe part time, and is studying to be nurse.
Appearance: Io has light blue almost white hair, she keeps it long and tends to wear it in lots of plaits and braids. Similar to her mother she wears a kimono but hers faids from white to blue and has a dark blue scale like design at the bottom. She is often referred to as the 'dragon' because when she is angry or beleves someone is being treated unfairly she is like an inferno. She has a white horn on her head that blends well with her hair and does everything she can to hide it, since it is much smaller than her siblings she doesn't have much trouble. Overall Io is rather small, especially in comparison to her father and siblings.
Personality: Io is quite and polite most of the time, she likes to talk and laugh with the customers of the cafe but outside of the four walls she feels a little lost. She doesn't mingle well with others outside of her comfort zone and rarely will be seen dead wearing her winged headband away from the safety of her family.
Hobbies: Sowing and making cushions. Reading, painting and practically anything that can be done on your own.
Likes: Fireflies and the way the moons reflection seems to dance on the surface of water. Her faviourite dish is lemon tart, but she has been known to eat her weight in fruit.
Dislikes: Pasta and food that comes out of a jar, she believes if its worth eating then its worth taking the time to make. She also fears the unknown.
History: Io is the oldest of Maion's three children and when her horn began to grow when she as 16, around the time when whispers of those who where different would be cast out or killed started to surface. Maion and Sengdroma feared the worst. It is because of this that Io is so scared of the world and being caught as 'different'. She was brought up surrounded by her mothers culture and pretty much enjoys doing all the things her mother does, when he siblings where born she was slightly jealous of them but now that she is grown she wouldn't be without them.
Her sister Chandra has inspired her to become a nurse while her brother Mal has taught her many skills and recipes in the kitchen. She has never hd the courage to love and her family fears that without them she would be alone.

Relation to Chandra: Older Brother

Appearance: Has long hair, and at the front is a streak of blue and white because he likes to be a little different. Like his younger sister Chandra he often comes across as excentric and crazy but he doesn't care. Around his neck he wears a stuffed bear paw, he believes it is his guardian symbol and that it will bring him luck. Like his mother and siblings he wears male kimono of midnight sky and lillypads.
Personality: Rather laid back guy, who enjoys observing the world around him and reacting accordingly. When it comes to his family he will happily get in a fight or lay his life on the line, but outside of them he finds it difficult to trust and make connections after the woman he loved was taken away by the goverment for experiments and extermination. It had been a fluck that his on 'difference' had not forced him to join her. He is often very stoic making him difficult to read. He is very close to his baby sister Chandra and will often do silly things to bring a smile back to her face.
Hobbies: Reading, cooking, and meditating.
Likes: He likes the colour blue as he believes it is very calming.
Dislikes: Those who are mean simply to make another feel bad, bullies, bad breath and overcooked pasta. It's a crime to overcook pasta in Mal's book.
History: Mal has always been very protective of his siblings, but as they grew up he took a liking to cooking and after learning all that his mother had to teach him he decided to travel a bit to learn from others. He has a small but thick notpad with all the recipes he learnt on his journey as well as all his changes and improvements listed. This small object never leaves his person or sight, and is considered his most prized possession. Chandra often teases him for it, and if it was anyone else he would probably punch them for it.
When he turned 20 he fell in love with a beautiful woman called Casandra, she had long black hair cat ears and a tail but that didn't matter to Mal. Due to the law that had been brought in five years before Casandra had been living in secret and fear of being killed but Mal talked her into moving in with him and helping at the cafe, it was a mistake that he regrets every day. At first everything went well, until one of the goverment spies stopped by the store and noticed her obvious 'oddity' she was hauled in for testing and extermination... and ever since it has broken Mal's heart. If it was not for the fact that only a coward would kill themselves after such occurances he would have joined her shortly after.
Since Casandra's death Mal has been extremely quite, only talking to those he knows and trusts while continuing to cook in the background of the cafe along with his mother.

 Chandra is very close to her family, and loves them all dearly but here is a short description of her interaction with each member.
Father: Chandra loves her father, and although she believs violence is wrong she often indulges him by learning self defence.
Mother: Chandra is very close to her mother, always going to her for advice when things get difficult and her brother Mal is not arund. She likes learning new skills off her and always hoped she would one day be able to pass them on to her own child.
Sister Io: Chandra isn't as close to Io, mainly because she is rather jealous of her. She believes her sister is prettier, smarter and just overall better than she is. Most of the time Io tends to only talk to Chandra when she is spoken to or wants something and this is likely also part of the reason for the slight distance between them.
Brother Mal: Chandra is probably the closest to Mal, she enjoys his company and hearing the stories he makes up just for her. He always indulges her and puts up with her happy excentric nature despite it is so opposite to his own.

Chandra and Risihima live together in a small two bedroom appartment. Chandra fell in love with it because of the view it has over a small little park.
The land comes with a small rear garden because it is on the ground floor. In the garden Chandra has dug out a small fish pond because she enjoys sitting out ther and just watching them when the weather is nice.
