So, last night I was buying XBox controllers in Fry's Electronics, and as I'm leaving the store, I see money on the floor. There's a man standing right there with a wad of bills in his hand, so I pick it up and hold it out to him, asking if he had dropped it out of his pocket. He counted through his money, and shook his head ... it wasn't his. Nobody else claimed it either, so I stuck it in my pocket. $10! Woot!

Awesome! It's such a wonderful feeling to find money on the ground. I get excited over dropped quarters and what-not. whee
My brother found $100 in a parking lot once. The lucky bum.

The most I've ever found was either $5 or $10 (I was around 8 years old) when I kicked an empty cookie box on the street and the money was underneath it.
I think my dad's found $100 in a parking garage in Atlantic City before, but I'm not totally sure on that one.

My dad found a $50 note once, but I think he took it to the police station nearby. And once, I found a wallet, but it had an ID so we gave that to the police as well.

My daughter, when she was smallish, found $60 in the park near the baseball fields. We tried to find the owner, but couldn't, so she ended up keeping it.
Narnia is amazing, the fx are breathtaking (... well, and in case y'all didn't know, that's the job I'm going for one of these days ... 3D artist. That's a whole other story, though ...). It's a war movie, basically, fairly violent, although not much blood or gore is shown, but it's beautiful and moving and allegorical, and I recommend it.

I'm glad someone's having a good week. I know it's not me though.
The most money I've ever found was a small purse filled with small bills and change. I took it into the truck stop/travel center we had stopped at to see if anyone had reported it. No one had, the waitress thought I was cute and a "good" girl for bringing it in. Then she insisted I keep it because odds were, whoever left/dropped it, wasn't coming back. I wasn't of a mind to count it, so I have no idea how much was really there.

Sorry you're not having a good week, IlianaAlura. Ecept for the $10, which I've spent now, I can't say it's turning out to be a banner week either.
DFS, Narnia full of sexual innuendo? Wow. I just didn't get that at all.
