The fact that his lyrics are always light-hearted and imaginative. Well, for the most part. I don't know if Lonely Lullabies could be considered light-hearted but still. 3nodding

A lot of his songs have hidden sadness in them.
Ocean Eyes and All Things Bright And Beautiful definitely have more notably upbeat songs.
His imagination is just awe-strikingly inspiring.
