I gave it a 7 because, it may be a cool card, but it has it's weaknesses. Sure, it may have an Atk power of 3000 and can be fused to create one of the most strongest fusion monsters, but against certain cards, it will be destroyed very easily. That's my opinion on the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

i voted a 1. Just because it's a 2 tribute monster and no effect. There are better 2 tribute monsters out there like dark magician of chaos horus lv8 sacred phoenix of nephthys

I gave it a 7, 'cause I think it's one of the classic cards of Yugioh. It's not that very strong, except stats, but it is one of those "back from ye olde days". From when Yugioh was young. At least where I come from.

I gave it a 5. Blue eyes is just a normal monster with a high attack. Theres nothing special about him unless you have alot of stuff to go with him. It takes 2 tributes to get him out, which isnt relaly worth it when there are things like Ancient Gear Golem who have the same attack, but also an additional effect. The cards that go with Blue eyes "Burst Stream" and "BEUD" are good, but it takes either 2 tributes or a card combo to get blue eyes on the feild, and all 3 blue eyes in your hand to get out the fusion. Sure its good, But it takes a long time to pull it off, unless you base your deck around either one of these strategies. Blue eyes isnt bad, but it isnt all that good either. So 5. Right in the middle 3nodding

Give it a 7 because BEWD is now one of the easiest high attack monsters to summon. There's a whole lot of support out there for dragon types and BEWD's. 3000 atk is nothing to scoff at. Even this "late" into the game, BEWD still packs a punch.

I gave it a 9. This card has almost infinite potential when used right. I had a deck which ran around BEWD and BEUD and it was possibly the best deck I ever made, I don't think I ever lost with it and the longest I went without having a Blue Eyes on the field was 3 turns from the start of the duel. There was one time when I got two on the field on my first turn and the thid on my second turn, resulting in a turn 2 win.
I used a whole plethora of ways to get it in my hand/on the field. Paladin of White Dragon with 3 Sonic Birds and 3 Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands was the most common way. I also used Lord of Dragons with the Flute, I used Kaiba Man, Different Dimension Capsule, and more. I also used cards like Painful Choice, which often resulted in my picking all three Blue Eyes, a Monster Reborn and a Magician of Faith, so I always got one either in my hand or on the field no matter what the decision of my opponent. When I did this combo I often had a Premature Burial and/or a Call of the Haunted, so I sometimes got all three on the field off that combo. That and the fact that it is an aboslute classic of a card, one of the very originals and a kick a** monster when used right. I only don't give it a 10 because nothing is ever perfect, nor full-proof.

Sure, in a blue eyes or dragon based deck, its very good. But in a deck that has nothing to do with it like...warrior, it would rate very low. So you should also think about how it wouldnt fit into other things. Which is why i rated it low. Sure, its good and all, But only in a select few decks. Making its compatibility pretty low.

Plus, in a deck that is based around the Dark Paladin or Buster Blader, your Blue-Eyes White Dragon would be useless. I fought many people who had their deck based around the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and as soon as I got my Buster Blader onto the field, they were screwed and they knew it.

That's very true and I probably should have taken that into account. Thank you for pointing that out. Although, I must say I have battled Buster Bladers and Dark Paladins both, and won. There really isn't much you can do against a Megamorphed Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Especially because I kept a soul release handy to rid the dragons from my graveyard to prevent the power boost.
