It wasn't really often that he was getting out and about these days due to the cold weather, his guardian didn't like to go outside when it was snowy or icy. Today though he'd been able to talk her into bringing him out, away from home and her work, so that he could stretch his legs. He was so bored with sitting around at home watching the television, he'd seen his favorite movies enough that he was getting bored with even them. So they were heading out to let the boy get some time outside.

There was a place not to terribly far from where they lived that she thought the boy would enjoy due to his love of pretty things, a sort of garden but it was maintained year round because it was indoors, always seemed to have pretty things blooming. It would likely only give him more ideas about what sorts of bouquets he wanted at the wedding he was already planning out but it was something Vanleia would have to risk. So long as the boy was perked up and happy, better then him looking all depressed because he had seen all of his movies a million times over and knew every word to. She lifted a hand to push open the door to the greenhouse to let him head inside.

Ai ran forward into the place, looking around, then smiled as he hurried forward deeper inside. The place was so pretty! It smelled good in here, so good like perfume, and the place was every color of the rainbow which had him that much more excited as he moved forward to lose himself in the gardens.

Vanleia watched him go before she stayed near to the door. There was only one door in which mean she could let him run off and enjoy himself but still be safe.

Ai was following first certain colors of flowers to inspect them, then went to finding certain scents, and then he spotted a rather interesting blossom that drew his attention. He starred at it before he trotted forward toward it when he caught sight of something that wasn't a flower among the plants. In fact it looked like a... boy? He tilted his head to one side, "Ah? Hello." He greeted that person, walking forward toward the boy who was huddled under the tree and when he got near to him he knelt down in front of him in a careful manner so none of the pretty, lacy clothing that he was wearing would risk getting stained.

"You look sad, are you alright?" He asked, sounding quite concerned as his mind instantly thought that someone had been mean to the boy and made him cry.

Ai's eyes widened when the other boy lifted his gaze to stare up at him and he starred. The poor kid looked so sad... but at the same time he was rather cute as well. The thought came to mind uninvited and Ai felt a little bad about thinking such a thing about this boy when he was looking so upset over his situation. As he mouthed the words Ai's gaze dropped to watching his mouth and he tilted his head to one side.

"Lost?" He asked, he got lost here? Did that mean that maybe he wasn't alone? Ai hadn't seen anyone else since he'd run off from Vanleia's side but that didn't mean much, his mind was on the flowers and not anyone else that might have been around him. He could very well have walked right by someone without noticing, "Its alright, I found you so your not lost now." He assured the boy, reaching out to run a hand gently over Dinnye's pretty hair. He didn't like to see cute boys look sad so he wanted to help to perk this new boy up.

Ai's eyes widened at what he was being told, "Wow, really?" He asked, the other boy couldn't talk? He wondered what kept him from being able to do so... he gave him a smile then got up as Dinnye stood. He brushed himself off as well despite not having any dirt on what he wearing before he gave his new friend, which the other boy was already dubbed in Ai's mind. He watched the way that he reached down to write in the sand and he read it over, "Dinnye? It is nice to meet you! My name is Ai." He laid his hand on his chest as he spoke before he smiled happily.

He tilted his head to one side as he inspected the other boy closely, he had pretty almost metallic hair in appearance, pretty eyes that were hidden behind glasses, as well as skin that looked like it had seen the sun before. He gave a smile as his heart skipped a beat, "Your very cute Dinnye." He chirped happily, the shyness he'd had when he was younger had faded and he wasn't against handing out compliments these days.

Ai looked at his hand before he reached out and happily took it in his, lacing their fingers together before he gave his hand a little squeeze. He was glad to see that he looked a little less upset over things. He watched Dinnye for a moment and watched the manner in which he pointed before he followed where the finger was pointing, for a moment wondering if it was the direction that he wanted to go in... then he saw where the path ended. At some sort of white flower.

"Do you want to go and look that one?" He asked, leading the way over so that they could look it over. Ai leaned over to sniff at it before his face took on a look of delight, "Oh, wow! This smells really nice, Dinnye you should smell it!" He was quite excited, maybe this was the sort of flower he should get for the bouquet he was going to carry at his wedding. It smelled so sweet and nice!

The pale haired boy looked to the next flower before he walked over to one of them, keeping Dinnye's hand in his. He didn't want the other boy to risk getting lost again. He was an adorable boy and he'd looked so sad when he first ran across him. For now he was going to protect him until he found the person that he belonged to, his parent or guardian depending on how his family was.

"This place is great you know." He told Dinnye as he leaned over to sniff at a flower that was a pretty, blue color that smelled really nice. It was strong enough that he had gotten a whiff of it before he'd even had to lean over, "I am trying to find the sort of flower that I want to have at my wedding you see." He told the other boy, he had been planning it forever now or so it felt but one day he would be a beautiful bride.

Ai did his best to keep from giggling as the flower caused Dinnye to sneeze. He smiled, "To much pollen for you? I hope that your not allergic, that would be sad." He murmured to his friend, it would be so sad! It wouldn't something that Ai would be able to deal with himself. He gave a little squeeze of his friend's hand when he took on a sad look once more, "How about we wait on looking at more flowers before we look for whoever you belong to." He explained, not sure if he had a mother or father.

"Who is your... parent? Or is yours a guardian like mine?" He asked of him, he loved Vanleia but she wasn't his parent, he didn't call her 'Mom', and he knew that. He didn't mind though since she took good care of him.

Ai gave a little jump when he felt the other boy lean against him before he looked down at him, "Dinnye? Its alright, come one we will find your people." He said, giving him a snuggle before he led him along on the path that went through the massive, at least to people their size, garden, "This place isn't that big so surely we will be able to get you unlost." Ai decided that maybe keeping up conversation with the other boy would make him cheer up. Of course to really cheer him up they would need to find his missing family.

His eyes looked from side to side as they walked along, the way that he saw it he was sure that the one they were looking for would be looking for Dinnye. That was the best way to find the person would be to let that person find them.
