The break up has really started me thinking, and I've been looking at stuff, and I'm actually becoming kind of interested.
Looking for someone to talk about things with.

If you look at my papers, it would say that I'm a christian o:
But really, I don't care about stuff like that :B We have a tradition in my family to go to the church every christmas, but that's mostly because my grandma and grandpa are there and they always come to our place after that to celebrate christmas, and we take our cars to the church and that way they get a lift to our place C:
Finland isn't such a religious country o:

Makaze~chan The break up has really started me thinking, and I've been looking at stuff, and I'm actually becoming kind of interested. Looking for someone to talk about things with. You just said in another thread that you kept spacing out every time your boyfriend talked about Christianity... I hope you aren't doing this just so he'll want to be with you. If he doesn't love you for who you are, you shouldn't have to change yourself for him. On the other hand, if you really do think the Christian god might be real, then go ahead and have fun with it. biggrin If you live in the U.S. learning about Christianity should be easy. It's everywhere. eek I don't have any info though, because I've never even read the bible... any of them. I tried to once, but it just didn't interest me.

I know about Christianity. My mother use to be a sunday school teacher at the Mormen Church. So we had to go to church everytime it was in session for the longest time. All though my mom was catholic... My dad a Baptist. Strange combination if you ask me.
Mother- Catholic ( Very strict christianity) father- Baptist ( Strict but not overly)
Mother working at a Mormen Church,
Mormen ( A very free form of Christianity)

With that being said I am not a Christian. I am Wiccan. I do not worship a particular god, in fact I worship none. However I do believe in the diffrent gods.

The fact that he started looking and taking interest in other girls as soon as we broke up says to me I meant nothing to him.

Well, do you live with your parents still? If so, what religion are they? If they are Christians, you could go to church with them or read their bible if they have one.

I never could wrap my halfway logic mind around a religion. Something about worshipping an unknown entity with no true proof of its existance or lack of,
it just doesn't set right with me. and the whole "sinning" thing.
I'm not a bad person, I just know my own limits and don't cross them. The things they count as a sin, it's just rediculous, some of it.

AW YEAH JiGGY TiME I never could wrap my halfway logic mind around a religion. I'm not a bad person, I just know my own limits and don't cross them. The things they count as a sin, it's just rediculous, some of it. If you really think about it you might find there is no such thing is good and bad. There are no universal rights and wrongs; only different interpretations and definitions concluded by different societies. No one has the authority to tell anyone else what is right and what is wrong. Some people think they do though...

I like to know things about all diffrent types of religions. Like Buddism, Paganism, Christianity, Wicca, Satanic Worship, and so on. They all have things in common, so I normally focus on that. If more then one religion have the same point, I look for more similarities. I dont worship any deity because I feel like I am betraying another god of another religion.
If anyone wants to know anything about Wicca I can tell you all about it.

Honestly bunny why veer toward a single religion just because it was your former boythings faith? What's important to some isn't always important to others. He said he's on a path to find his god right? Personally after all the things you've said he's said and done, the only god based of literature he's on his way to see is the one that condones neck biting at the bottom of a pit made of many cantos if ya catch my drift razz . Start your own journey of faith, there are many to choose from and many have similarities and also many differences, listen to what your heart believes and it will show you the faith of which you believe in which may not even be an existing one =O. Personally I haven't found my faith yet, with all the loss and discord around my life at the moment I haven't had time but I'm still searching, don't believe in what the general public says to believe in, believe in what you will and you'll be happy.

Thanks Roman. You're wise, and I always trust your advice. I'm at least going to look into it. I don't know what I want, but I know I'm feeling pretty useless in the world right now, like I have no purpose.
