My mom had a cookie exchange christmas party at our house last night, and now there are about 3 dozen assorted cookies lying around in my kitchen. I'm eating them right now...I'd have to say it's a cookie-gasm.

Ooh, I know what you mean. We had a girly party here last night and one of my housemates baked at least 3 trays of cookies. Mind you, ours are all slice and bake type, just plop on the tray and you're good to go, but they still are awesome cookies. When I am able to get home from the semester (in about 2 weeks), I'm going to bake our Christmas cookies with my aunt. It's going to be a good time. biggrin

Cookies outside of Ireland scare me...
They just don't seem the same!
And some people regard any old biscuit as as cookie, neutral . Just plain wrong. There's only so many types of cookies and then there's biscuits...

LOL Polaris, cookies are an important part of a christmas diet.
I am under oath to make some molasses cookies for the bakesale at work next week...the only trick is keeping some for me, and away from my brother, who can eat 6 dozen cookies without batting an eye.
Too bad we can't come assist you with your cookie plight. wink

i love cookies too... my sister will sometimes go on crazy cookie making sprees cause she has nothing else to do. Needless to say, i love it.

LP bakes almost 200 iced sugar cookies from scratch every year for all her friends...
Just in time for EXAMS.... > sad
I think... I hate cookies right now.

I wanted cookies the other day, so I went down to the store on campus to buy some. For some reason I got fig newtons, which are good, but definitely not as good as I remember them being. I wish I had chocolate chip or sugar cookies instead.
