Professor Luna tapped her short finger nails on the table, obviously bored. She stop suddenly when she realized something.
"I'm the oldest professor here. I'm sooooo OLD!" She screeched, banging her head against the wall.

Professor Hessian's eyes shifted over at the Headmistress...

"Has she completely lost her mind?..." He thought. He shook his head and continued eating.

Professor Pellins watched with amusement what was going on down the table. She smiled at the other two teachers, her warm grey eyes, friendly.

Professor Luna smiled back at Professor Pellins, but frowned at the sleeping teacher. She picked up a megaphone from under the table, and decided to give Professor Brown a little wake up call.
"WAKE UP!" She shouted through it.

Having been seated in between the Headmistress and Professor Brown, Professor Hessian got the full effect of the megaphone. As he went to take a sip of tea, the sound startled him so much that the tea went flying all over him. He closed his eyes, trying to stay calm, and turned his head to glare at the Headmistress, his ears ringing. Drops of tea fell down his face and from the tips of his hair.
"I'm sure a simple tap on the shoulder would've worked just as well, Headmistress..."

Professor Hessian gave Professor Pellins a dull stare as a drop of tea went from a strand of hair onto his cheek and rolled down his face. To him, this was anything but amusing. He raised his wand to himself and uttered the words of a spell that dried him off. He smirked at Professor Pellins and proceeded to refill his cup.

Professor Pellins happily looked back at the students. Watching each of them as they ate. She glanced at Professor Hessian again and grinned.

"I agree with you, Professor Hessian, but then I won't have been able to use my new megaphone! Look! It's solid gold with 14 finely cut rubies around the rim. This is more valuable than your life." Professor Luna said quietly and seriously. Then she tossed it over her shoulder like it was trash.

"Oh headmistress, you ought to care for your things with more respect" Professor Pellins said. She stood to pick it up and looked at Professor Hessian. "I think you have an admirer Professor" she said grinning

Professor Hessian looked at her like she was crazy. 'Geez... This is our headmistress???' He thought to himself. 'This will definitely be an interesting year...'
He blinked and his eyes shifted to Professor Pellins, who was grinning at him. He stared at her for a moment and did a double take until he finally looked away. Her warm eyes and sweet smile had made him nervous...

"Respect? I lied about the solid gold thing. I really bought that thing at Walmart for 15 bucks. And it's still worth more than Professor Hessian's life." She said chuckling.
