I am REALLY close with my youth pastor. He is like my brother. My youth pastor is a really cool guy. We talk about everything from friends to school he even gives me advice about guys. He is leaving in Feb. and we are getting a new one.I was wondering, are any of you close with your youth pastors?

My youth pastor is pretty much close to everyone. He's just like that. Very easy to get along with. He's a great and funny guy and I'm very fortunate to have him as my youth leader.

I got really close with mine, but God called him somewhere else, so I know how you feel. The current one rocks too though!

(Hi I am new here) But yeah our youth pastor and his wife are sooo awesome...They started as youth pastors in Feburary and still are now..Their names are Johnny and Ruby...But yeah I wont say last names unless you know them..but yeah I live in Missouri by the way...so yeah anyways Ruby is 30 and Johnny is 32 and they look way younger but they are soo cool and nice they do trips and rallys and everyone in our youth group is pretty good friends with them both..Well Yeah gotta go buh bye

I don't really got to youth. Sometimes I help out with Children's Church though, but yeah I don't really know our youth pastor before.

My youth pastor is my pastor...and he treats us like we are his kids because like 4 of his kids are in the youth group. I stopped going because it was boring...I just feel to old for it now. Although, I am going to see the Chronicles of Narnia with them tonight. But that is only because I LOVE the books! I am highly anticipating it... heart

Dualbladz Anna Moonstone My church dosnt do youth, there is only like 40 people and no one has the time my youth group only has 15. you should get one! they are awesome!

i'm close with my youth pastor, and most of them are great people, but if your a girl and your male youth pastor is getting a little to friends, kick him in the nuts before you get raped, just a word of caution

Yeah, I'm really close to my Youth Pastor. I wasn't saved until he came. He helped me connect with God. He is really awesome. The whole youth loves him. heart

my youth group is really small, there are only like 10 kids max. but my youth pastor is awsome! we're getting a new one soon though...so sad! crying crying

I am a youth minister. I have been one for eleven years. I am still close to my youth minister from when I was in high school He lives in Kentucky and I live in Illinois. I can call or email him and he gets back with me immediately. It really hurts when your youth minister has to leave or decides to leave. I was a youth minister for six years in Indiana and I still talk to some of my youth there. It hurt my wife and I to leave that ministry. I was a minister at a church for eighteen months and was fired. That hurt a lot, but I still am in contact with some of those youth as well. I have been in my current position for 2 1/2 years. I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. I feel that many of the youth are close to me. One of my former youth is currently living with us until he is able to take his next steps.

I'm close with all three of my youth Pastors. Pastor Wade and his wife Cynthia(sp) and Pastor Rob. They are all three really kool and watch out for because of circumstances with my home life. They are helping me work through my steps to become a pastor myself. P. Rob won't even give me a list of bible colleges that he thinks I'll do good at until I do a 9month internship with our church. But it's kool cuz I was gunna do it anyways. But yes all three of them are great and mean a lot to me. Because they've helped me grow close to God in a short period of time and I've overcame tons.
