A pink female stepped lightly in the woods never really venturing too far from her father, but was tired of spending every second of her life beside him. She wanted to get out and see the world or even get into danger if she could. She was very optimistic and brave never really being scared of anything as a child either. She talked with anyone she came across and she knew one day she wanted to begin an adventure of sorts. Kind of like something those Hero's go on and find all kinds of treasure. She didn't know how to begin one or even how to go about doing it. She just knew she needed to get out there and trek the world if she could.
Walking further, she stopped seeing some shrubbery move making her eyes go wide like a kittens when they see a ball roll before them. "Come out you forest animal!" she shouted with a big of a giggle followed after before pouncing in the bush hearing a squirrel chatter beneath her then run off into a tree. She rolled around on the ground some before getting up and picking some leave out of her tail. She shook her head trying to knock the leave that were caught there out, but failed. She scampered off deeper into the woods feeling overly giddy since this was the beginning of her awesome adventure.

It hadn't been long since leaving the confines of his warm basket home and coming face to face with his very large mother. Eeping, the young male had nearly skittered away from her right then and there. Surprisingly, despite the love and tenderness Kailani'ki had shown the little one before his emergence, her being so much taller than him had certainly startled him at first. One wrong move and her hooves could squash him! he thought. Still, it didn't take long before he warmed up to his mom, skittering between her legs every chance he could get. The week with him had left her quite a bit sleepier than she could have imagined. When she finally succumbed to slumber early one day, the hardly tired Usdia colt she had adopted chose to wander off on his own.
It was thoughtless. By now, Suraj was surely lost, wandering though the trees. They surrounded him completely, looming. It wasn't a thing like their edge of the trees home where he was shielded just enough to feel comfortable. Now the trees felt scary. Letting out a whine, his short legs carried him a bit further before he truly felt weary of searching. "Maaaa...." he cried again, wishing she would come find him soon. He definitely didn't enjoy being alone now.
