You know, I was thinking earlier, why do we stay with the SG? What's the appeal of it after so many games? I mean most of the originals don't seem to come around as much anymore and we have newer members around, but for those who have been here for what, 2-3 years and have stayed active/semi-active, what keeps you bound to the SG?

Personally this community was the first online one I have seriously bonded with. I joined the 3rd round of the sniper game after I did the Gaia Olympics one which was in the gcd. It was the year I had made the resolution to be more sociable rather than lurk all the time, and I'm glad I did meet you all. I consider the SG a hub to return to when I'm bored. It's a community I can do stuff with when we wish to do a common activity, mainly online gaming for me, such as MapleStory (the most sgers I've seen in one place yet), S4, TF2, Mabinogi, and possibly more. If the SG completely closed down I'd probably rebuild it myself and try to pull the pieces back together. I don't think I could go without a SG to call home.

Meh, I just felt like babbling a little bit and wondered why you other guys stick around still.

And yes, this is a topic that doesn't completely revolve around a game/games. Be amazed. |3

I essentially lived my 'social' life in the SG as well. Before I was shy in person and on the net. But the year I joined the sg I turned at least more open on the net. Plus some of the closer friends I gained from here help with encouragement on other things I do when I do them.

And yeah, SG never has had anything truly drama explosion to cause people to really leave...well I may be blind to it. At least for me anyway. I doubt there's any way to truly spark any serious drama with me so I'm probably gonna be around for a long time. Even when life gets more turbulent with me I'll still stick around and pop in.

I seriously hope I didn't cram my foot in my mouth there. -doesn't want to dislike anyone-

I like the fact that I can tell people off and they'll just ride me off as "That's just Buzz being himself". blaugh

If I went to like some new thread and said HALF the things I say here, I'd get like ALL SORTS OF TONGUE LASHINGS! Not that I don't LOVE tongue lashings, but it's good to know that there's a place around where people are like "F U TOO BUZZ! Now what's up?"

Because it's how I roll! You offend me, I feel bad, 2 minutes later I'm like "K cool, we should hang out"... That's like Real life me... which is kind of how I'm online... Except, and I've said this before, Online I have a delete button, that can delete the REALLY horrible stuff I say. blaugh

I really have no idea. xD I mean, its been getting quiet here but I still cling to everyone. I just don't want to leave because I've been here too long.

I'm glad to have met even half of you, and I'm happy I have friends here.

When I first entered the SG, I was always thinking "no one will pay attention to me, I'm the new guy." I'm glad people warmed up so fast.

I love the human psyche and you've all been wonderful test subjects.

All I know is that I love the thrill I get from playing the mafia game in general. (You may not know this but I used this game to organize a bunch people during my lunch break during high school. We played 2 or 3 games a day for most of the school year.) It was this feeling of elation that first brought me here and kept me here for several games.

After a time I left briefly, but returned because I missed you guys.
AWWW.

Because of all the ideas I haven't put into place here yet. And the fact that this is one of the few, serious places I hang out. cool

Also, this is a place to talk for me sometimes. Get to know people outside of my apartment as well as become a better man. xd xd xd

owo I am still here because... there is nothing else to do on the internet that has so many people I know xD;

Imean, you guys all play MMOs and stuff, but eventually you leave to go do something else... but you're always here...

... also you guys make good drama when you make drama. totally fun to watch.

oh and I've been here since I was... 12? and I'm 16 now. so it's like growing up with people and stuff. n-n
Even if I never really talk to most of you... well, that was true before skype, but I only downloaded that a month and a half ago, lol

I joined all the way back in Game 2.
And dammit, I'll stay til Game 200.
As with Pixie, I've grown up with the SG. Hell, this is the only place I touch on Gaia now.
Even though I always manage to disappear into RL, I always come back because there's no other place like this, and no other people like ya'll.
Through drama, through scandals, through feuds and flame wars, we still manage to hold together as a community.

*sniff* I think I got an eyelash in my eye.....
