 It'd been ages since Zuri was out this far. She was also slightly confused as to where the boarder ended here. She knew she had walked it in the past.
Her tail flickered as she moved. She was slightly in thought. Wondering what she was going to do. She was bored of the pridelands but she couldn't get something out of the back of her head. She finally sat down just looking out across the lands. Her tail flickered as she blankly stared.

 A white form walked through the savanna slowly, nearing, unknowingly, the pridelands borders. Jahazi walked with a slight limp, though it was merely due to the constant twitching in his leg. His orange eyes spotted another form in the distant. He squinted, he could make out the form of another lion. He was slightly wary of other creatures, since his mother told him that some lions don't take kindly to hybrids. He decided that he could fight off one lion, and he walked forward until he reached the lioness. "H-hello." He said, his stutter obvious. He had a nervous tick in his eye that moved constantly, seeming to never stop. "G-greetings, I'm J-Jahazi." He said with a meek smile.

Zuri's eyes followed the male curiously. She tilted her head looking him over with almost a loft brow she answered. "Hello..."
Her tail twitched as she looked back at it and then looked at his. She glanced around for a bit curious before answering. "Name's AuriZuri." She looked at him, "You're not from around the pridelands are you?" Her tail flickered watching his little quriks trying not to giggle.

Jahazi smiled back at her, gaining a bit more confidence since she seemed not to care that he was a hybrid. "It's a p-pleasure to m-meet you, Miss." He stammered, smiling a half smile. "And n-no, I'm n-not from around h-here. I'm a r-rogue, I t-travel with my f-family and we happened to c-c-ome through here." He sat down, his tail and leg still twitching. His eye seemed to have ceased it's constant movement for the time being though. "D-do you l-live in the P-pridelands?"

She looked back towards the rock that made the main place of the pridelands and then over to the area where she grew up. "I guess you could say that."
She flexed her paws into the dirt. She still seemed to have something on her mind. However Jahazi slightly dragged her attention away from it. "Mind if I ask what happened to your tail?" She looked curiously at it still. "I mean I've never seen a lion without a tail tuff." She got up and walked around him for a second before settling back to a sitting postion in her orginal spot.
"It's rather interesting." She nodded, stopping herself again from chuckling at his twitching. It was almost cute, in some odd way, the same odd way his lack of a tail tuff amused her.

His expression sunk a little. So she didn't know he was a hybrid. But since she didn't know, perhaps she would still be kind to him. He was getting more nervous by the second, and when she examined his tail, it started twitching and moving about uncontrollably. His eye also acted up again and he cursed inwardly at his twitches and nervousness. "O-oh, you d-don't know?" He asked, looking at her as she resumed her spot. "I-I-I'm a h-hybrid." He said, his stutter obviously getting worse. "I-I'm h-half leopard and h-half lion. Th-that's why I d-don't have a t-t-tuft."

She paused for a second, thinking before blinking. "Ohhhhh! I remember a little one I ran into that was like you." She chuckled. "Good kid... wonder if she ever found her way home..."
She looked back at him tilting her head. "You're the first full grown hybrid I've seen." She nodded seeming to pause to think, "You have pretty spots." She said after a bit.
She couldn't help but giggle this time when he started twitching. "I-I'm sorry.... I know I shouldn't find it amausing, but the twitching is too cute."

He became extremely embarrassed at the compliments, and his twitching became even worse. "Oh, th-th-thank you. You have l-lovely markings, t-t-too." He looked at the ground while he talked, shuffling his feet. He dug into the dirt with a claw, unsure of what to do. When she commented on his twitching he smiled bashfully. "Oh, y-yes. I c-can't really c-control it." He became a little more relaxed, now that he knew she accepted him. His eye stopped twitching but his tail continued it's dance. "I-I'm sorry, my st-stutter is very b-bad when I'm n-nervous."

She giggled again. Holding a paw over her mouth Trying to hide it. "Oh dear.... You poor thing." She regained composure atleast some what still smiling.
"It's fine." She said after a second of watching him her head tilted. "Just take a breath and take your time." Her tail flickered as she looked up at the sky and then around them, looking for some sort of shading. She finally spotted a small grove of trees, she got up. "Lets go over to the shade I'm sure it'll be slightly cooler than out here in the direct sun."

Jahazi smiled as he got up, walking with her towards the trees. When they reached the shade, he sat down again, making sure to leave enough for her. His twitching had lessened a bit, after her comment about the fact that it's okay. "It is much c-cooler here. So, do you have any f-family?"

She looked off towards pride rock. "I guess... you could say the pride is my family." She paused and twitched her tail, "However without such, there is my twin brother and my father."
She gave a soft nod before sighing. "I haven't seen either in a while though. Just been out trying to figure out who I am." She tilted her head, "What about you? You said you travel with yours. Right?"
She seemed curious. "What's it like?"

He looked off toward the legendary rock as well, it was the first time he had seen it. He admired it for a few moments then drew his eyes back to her. "Oh, yes I d-do. It's alright, though I w-would like to t-travel on my own someday." He smiled a little. He was socially awkward, especially when it came to females. He really had no idea what to talk about with her, so he gazed at the now setting sun and dug through his mind to find something, anything to keep the conversation going. "D-do you like living here?" He knew it was a boring question, but he just wanted to continue speaking with her.

Her eyes had also set gaze at the sun for a bit before looking up at the few puffy white clouds. "Something's missing here." She said after a while her tail flickered.
Her thoughful look returned. "What.... however... I can't possibly think of it. Perhaps the fact I never knew my mother... or maybe something different." Her tail flickered idely. "But.... somethings missing. It makes living here.... nightmareish."
She paused looking back at him. "However in all other respects yes I do enjoy it... there's nice people around about."

He watched her as she spoke, noticing that she seemed to be very lonely. "Oh, well I'm sorry that you n-never knew your mother.." He said sadly, his voice full of compassion. "I wish there was something I c-could do.." He looked away for a few moments, unsure of what else to say. He wanted to comfort her, though he had no idea how. But he thought of her as his friend, even though they had only known each other this short time. "The sunset is beautiful." He said, trying to turn the conversation.

She nodded softly, "Indeed."
She sighed, "The sky's always lovely when nothing else is. I enjoy looking at the stars and the clouds." Her tail flickered, "I had a friend that would look at the clouds with me when I was younger. We'd find shapes in them and she'd talk about how she stayed up at night to look at the stars."
She humed slightly, "The stars are always fun to look at. You can find something new in them, that you didn't see before, almost every time."
She chuckled softly.
