~RP Prompt~
Some foxes - even several God/desses - have gone missing. Their guardians are terrified. You, the White Ribbon God, are charged with finding them and making sure they return safely to their homes, as well as watching over all of the shop patron's to make sure something like this doesn't happen again. What are your feelings, and just how do you go about finding the missing foxes? If they were taken by someone or something, what lengths will you go to to make sure they're returned safely?
Thanks to a dear friend of mine for the prompt idea x3

As the white ribbon god... It was a tragedy to hear that some foxes have went missing. I shall find them. No matter what! I will risk my life to save them. If someone has them, i will give my life to return them to their rightfull owners. But, how could this have happened? Who ever did this will get whats coming to them! Poor foxes...

The news came bolting to me as if I were struck by a bolt of lightning. It... had to be a joke, right? I watched the others shake their heads, and went on listing me the names of all who had disappeared and those who were guardians to the poor, unfortunate souls. I couldn't falter back now of all times, though... I, the God of the White Ribbon and Devotion, am the only one who could do any such thing, and will carry out such responsibilities. Well, perhaps not alone, but bah! A duty as mine was as significant as the sun to flowers. This wasn't the first time, but it must be done by someone. Like what happened the night of the Betrayer? Okay, perhaps I was sleeping that night, but the nonsense with kidnapping and stealing was just insane, including mysterious "spiriting away's". Where has all the devotion and commitment gone in this world...? But... I guess, as long as my duties are fulfilled, and I have carried out the correct orders, all will be fine. But enough chitchat. A certain God has his job to do.
Commitment is my life, of course... <3

Adero frowned. Missing? Some of the foxes have gone missing? This was unacceptable. Adessia felt he must have failed, that such a horror had occurred. He stared at his ribbon, for a long moment, then looked at the one who had brought him the news. "Tell the caretakers... I will hunt, I will seek, and I will do all in my power to find those that have been taken. I will not rest, I will not stop, until they are returned. If there is an individual, or a group, responsible, I will punish them." He turns, and begins to prepare, packing things for his journey. He packed food, water, and bandages. He put a small knife in his pack, for he wasn't sure he could wield more. And then he took off, heading out, to hunt for clues. It would be a long, and possibly frightening, journey, but he was ready. He had to be. This was his duty. He would not let his kin down again.

Cinta Blanc stared out of the window of the tiny but busy shop, worry etched into his almond shaped eyes, creasing his tan and white maw. The white ribbon the wrapped elegantly around his narrow paws wavered timidly as the open window caught a breeze. It fluttered up toward the god's face as if trying to comfort the worried Noodle keeper. But he did not notice, so focused was he within his own self. A problem plagued him. I sigh escaped him, sides heaving as if the great mental burden created physical pain. His mind buzzed angrily, a swarm of angry bees in his brain.
Missing foxes.....
Who...or what could be stealing them? He pondered the aggravating question, shifting his paws on the windowsill. A few weeks back, The Lucky Noodle was broken into. Nothing was stolen, but the place was ransacked. Ever since then, foxes had been slowly disappearing, in ones and twos, from their guardians homes. As the White Ribbon God, he was responsible for watching for each of them and keeping them from wandering into danger. He had taken to staying around the shop lately, watching closely the foxes still around, worrying for each and every one. But he can't do both! How can he possibly find the culprit and keep watch over the others still with their guardians?
He growled, flapping his gold and orange wings in irritation. The feathers caught the breeze, shimmering in the late afternoon sunlight. He needed to stretch. Leaving the quiet whispering of the scared shop-goers, he came out onto the street and leapt into the air, beating his wings to gain altitude. The rush of lifting so quickly raised his spirits and cleared his head, allowing other thoughts to trickle into his mind. Who would have the capacity to steal them...?
A human? He pondered this a moment, ultimately shaking his head. What human would have the capacity to keep all the foxes confined where even he couldn't sense them? No, that would take magic...magic just as powerful as his.
-Another god? The thought was ticking in the back of his brain where it exploded like a bolt of lightning. Could it be? But for what reason? He thought of the other gods and goddesses. They were a peaceful lot, content on staying in their high reaches to watch their brood flourish below on earth. But this became a bigger possibility the more he thought about it. There was one goddess who might just be twisted enough.
Veritas.
His mind turned dark. The goddess with dark wings and a darker case of jealousy. She coveted the white ribbon status of Cinta Blanc and the "easy" job he had of watching the foxes born of ramen noodles while Veritas was stuck ferrying the souls of foxes and guardians alike to final resting places. She was cursed with an arduous and dangerous task that she rightly deserved. Cinta cringed at the thought of the last argument, the last battle that ended wither her being cast away to her bleak job....
Cinta nodded to himself, diving quietly as a flock of birds squawked and beat their feathered wings in surprise. Veritas would be a likely candidate. But where to find her? He looked upward at the sky. He would have to ask the others, the remaining gods and goddesses. And if she was behind this....Cinta growled louder, anger fusing together with worry. He would make good on his promise to see that the foxes were returned safe and sound.
And Veritas would pay with her life.
((*bows head* I am so sorry its so long! My brain took the prompt and ran..and kept running....))

Ohaithar. Just so you all know, this is a God that's being put up for keeps. Not a Goddess. <3

((If we can still enter XP If not, ignore!))
The god sat on the lakeside, savoring the peace surrounding him. He closed him amber eyes, drawing the crisp morning air into his mouth in a deep breath. He stretched his wings luxuriously, trying to calm himself and slow his thought process. He tilted his head up, eyes opening once more, string into the bright blue sky.
This was all his fault. If only he'd kept a closer watch on his fellow foxes as was his duty. If only he was more responsible. He heaved a heavy sigh, and closed his eyes once morea s a small breeze picked up.
His chopstick clacked lightly agains his chest and the ribbons bound to his legs fluttered. His wings were fulled lightly, and strangley, with the breeze, his worries faded.
He was the White Ribbon God for a reason. He had shown the traits of compassiona nd resiliance. He needed to be stong now for those who are lost. He needed to do whatever it took to bring them back. He would jsut have to get over his uncertainties.
He would give up everything if he had to to save them. He will sacrafice everything if he must.
Vanguard stood slowly, and headed back to the noodle stand to prepare himself for the road ahead.

Entering, assuming the contest is still open~ Kuon-Yin Some foxes - even several God/desses - have gone missing.
His heart ached for the missing.
It had been bad enough when other foxes had begun to go. He had felt the anguish of their guardians as clearly as if they had cried out, and he had taken it and matched it with his own. The names of those foxes had drifted to him - and Cabriel watched them, written over and around the white ribbons that covered his paws. Those names would not fade until they were safe and home once again. He closed his eyes as the ribbons writhed against his fur, blown by some unseen wind: the need of those guardians to have the foxes they loved returned, the desires of those foxes to come home...
But he also closed his eyes to keep away the sight of those names, written differently than the others. The names of his own - other Gods and Goddesses. Even they were not immune to this rash of mysterious disappearances. The names of his fellow Gods shouted to him, thrumming their need from the jewels of his crown to his very pinfeathers, making them tremble. He opened his eyes, and stopped listening.
The time for patience, for waiting, had lasted long enough. He had noticed a pattern to the taking. The returning- No, the re-uniting was his duty, one that he would satisfy, as he always did. He laughed at those who called this job easy. Did anyone else know the things he had done for his power? The price he had paid for the strength of Unity? No... No, of course not. No one else could. The thought made him chuckle grimly.
Someone had to wear the White Ribbons.
