Dragons Blood This is a vivid and vibrant red resin obtained from the Canary islands Dragon tree. Dragon's blood is used as a varnish, dye, medicine, or incense. It has an especially masculine scent. Though it can also be described as earthy or smoky in aroma with a sharp, bitter bite of citrus fruits behind all the warm, full initial scent that takes control of the senses.
Vetiver This is a highly fragrant species of grass which is native to India. Vetiver is an excellent erosion-control plant as it has a great mass of sprawling roots which are also cultivated for their fragrant essential oil. The oil is a thick and very cohesive, it has the appearance of syrup and is a rich dark brown that thickens and grows more intense as it is left to sit and age. There is a distinctive scent of damp earth to it, and just the very slightest hint of sweetness. Wet grass and fresh wood hover just around the edges of your senses as you burn the oil. The final suggestions of the exotic scent are a slightly smoky odour with just a very slightly spicy tang to it.
Spices As selection of unknown, but clearly exotic spices are the last addition to this highly exotic scent, they give it a strong suggestion of opulence though they are only really noticeable if you pay close mind to the smoking oil. There is just a hint of of them, and a slight one at that in the Serpent's Kiss. There is once more the slight suggestion of smoke, and a hot, spicy slightly metallic tang to the scent that catches in the back of your nose if you breath in too deeply. It's smell that seems to wish to be stronger... to wish for more... though it is cloaked by the other scents.

The story so far.....Nagendra was received after participation in a re-hoping event prompt contest. He met Faythe and ended up following him home...
Faythe, who had fostered before ended up taking pity on the rather impetuous child he had met in the street and decided to take him home, give him a good meal and let him get cleaned up. What he hadn't counted on was Nagendra being a whole lot more determined to not end up on the street...

 Name :: Nagendra Meaning :: Lord of the Snakes
Nickname :: Nage (said Nagi) by Faythe.
Stage :: Child
Appearance
Height :: 4ft9, roughly at this point.
Hair :: A warm dark red that flops over one of his eyes, and is ‘artfully’ ruffled at the back.
Eyes :: A very bright vivid green, slightly darker than grass. They are very intense to look into.
Build :: He’s quite sturdy for a child, but as a child he’s still rather small.
Clothing :: Simple khaki top and shorts, though he does like to wear rather finer things when he can.
Jewellery :: At this point none, Faythe doesn’t seem to have anything interesting for him to ‘borrow’ either…
Personality in brief ::
Nagendra is a mixture of things all swirled into one very sensual personality. There is the possessiveness, the draconic desire for wealth and luxury and heat from the aromatic, smoky dragons blood. There is the warm and exotic tastes of the various spices and the lazy, idle and relaxing sensations of the Vetiver. He is a strong combination of the serpentine and the draconic, he likes what he likes and he will use all his skill and wiles to get it. He can come off as sweet and pleasing, but he can’t quite hide the sly look in his bright green eyes. He’s good at getting what he wants and he knows it, but he also knows the good that being pleasing can do him.
Personality Breakdown ::
Self important :: Nagendra firmly believes that he’s the singularly most important person alive, that he is right, always, about everything, and that everyone should listen to what he thinks and should act accordingly. He is, after all, perfection itself.
Self aware :: Nagendra knows what he likes, he knows what he wants and he most definitely thinks he knows what is good for him. He knows what he can get away with, and he knows his limits and is very careful, especially with physical limitations to push himself nowhere near them. Why take the risk after all..?
Vain :: Nagendra is very proud of how he looks, he likes to be tidy and well kept, smartly turned out and pleasing to the eye. As a child he realises that this is a good way to make a good impression, and he so dearly wants people to fawn over him and adore them, and he couldn’t expect that if he wasn’t well turned out and clean now, could he…? After all… he wouldn’t want dirty people around him.
Seductive :: Nagendra uses his naturally seductive personality even as a child. While this seduction is not sexual it is still a way of winning people over, making them adore him so that he can bring them close to him and keep them, he longs for adoration, and if he can make people fawn over him with a minimal amount of effort, clever words, expressions, smiles and the gentlest little affections, a hug goes a long way he’s found, then it is definitely worth it… he can seduce people into being affectionate to him and buying him gifts rather easily.
Sly :: Nagendra does not only have seduction at his disposal, he also has the natural slyness of the serpent he is named after. He can be very subtle when he wants, finding things out that you might not have wished to tell him, and probably using them against you to gain something or other that he wants shortly after. He’ll not resort to actual violence if something less effortful will gain the desired results.
Affectionate :: Nagendra despite all his faults can still display a softer side. He loves to be cuddled and fussed over, and will even be affectionate in return if he’s of the mood to be. He’ll cuddle against someone warm for hours, preferably in his mind a woman as they’re softer and more pleasant, though currently only for the maternal connotations. He isn’t above affection however, it just happens to take his fancy somewhat less often than his over overriding personality traits.
Arrogant :: Negendra knows he’s good, and he will tell you he is. If you try to put him down he will scoff at you, if you make yourself look foolish in any way, he’s likely to try to scorn you. He believes that he knows best for everyone, and that if they will not listen to him, well, they must be a fool then. His arrogance is fed by a strong sense of stubbornness.
Stubborn :: When he digs in his heels, nothing can make Nagendra budge. This is the driving force behind a good deal of his personality traits. The simple fact that once he’s made a decision about anything it is very hard indeed to make him budge.
Opulent :: Nagendra is a definite fan of the finer things in life, and he believes that no ones deserves them more than he does. Admittedly he also believes that everyone lives as well as he used to, so he doesn’t tend to think much of Faythes somewhat more… simple state of living. He doesn’t understand why his new home isn’t bedecked with the beautiful tings, the jewels and the beautiful fabrics that he was expecting, and used to. It makes him rather grouchy… he deserves far finer things that he has currently…
Hoarder :: Nagendra likes to keep his possessions close to him. And he likes to keep as many things as possible… anything pretty, soft, shiny, gem like, golden… well, basically anything that looks like it may be of some kind of value he wants, he takes and he keeps close to him. It is the draconic nature of the dragons blood in his scent that makes him this way. That makes him want to keep everything fine and attractive for himself.
Selfish :: Nagendra loves all of his things, and he does not like to share them. If people touch them he’ll become defensive, and if he is ever asked to give something of what he is eating, drinking, holding, buying… anything to anyone else, well… it’ll be a battle of the wills to make him. He has no desire to share his own personal wealth with others. They should have their own things after all!
Aggressive :: If pushed, just like the snake he is named after, Nagendra will become rather violent. He will strike out, lash you with his tail, try to bit you even if you push him too far. He does not like to act in this manner, it takes a lot of effort and a lot of energy, but he will certainly stand up for himself if he feels he needs to. He’s not worried about hurting people, if they anger him, well, they deserve to suffer. No one should ever step out of line with him… he’s the most important after all.
Expectant :: Nagendra expects a lot from life. He expects people to revere and admire him, love adore and need him. He wants to be the centre of attention and have the nicest belongings. He wants soft cushions, extreme comfort, and people all around him to make sure he has everything he could desire. He’d have his existence totally idle if he could, he’d love to be a lazy creature if he could only get away with it... he basically just expects a lot of easy living out of life.
Tetchy :: Nagendra’s moods can switch very easily, and if he finds himself in a place where he is not happy then he can end up in a rather disagreeable temperament. He’ll grumble and grouch and call people names under his breath and sometimes even to their faces if he’s knocked out of joint enough. Basically he can be a very surly young things when he doesn’t get what he wants, and doesn’t get his way. If you push the right buttons it can be very easy to rile him up into a tetchy temper. It doesn’t usually get to temper loss though, that requires too much effort…
Imperious :: Negendra will happily lord it over people. He knows he’s better after all, so shouldn’t they treat him like he is…? He’ll give orders without thinking twice, rather than asking, and will make a big fuss if Faythe tells him he has to day please. Why should he have to be so polite to lesser beings after..? He’d love to find himself the lord of some manor house one day, bossing servants around would give him a terrifying amount of enjoyment.
Lazy :: Nagendra is very much of the opinion that why should you do something if you can get someone else to do it for you..? His pleasing manner makes this somewhat easier for him than it really should be as well. He’ll happily spend a full day flaked out on a pile of soft bedding, on the couch or even just in the sun, he likes to be comfortable, but as long as he doesn’t have to move he doesn’t really care too greatly. He just likes to be able to be perfectly at his ease. It can really put his temper out of joint if he is forced to do something he deems as unnecessary… unfortunately he deems a lot of tasks unnecessary… which means that his temper is knocked fairly regularly.
Comfort seeking :: Nagendra does not think of hard surfaces as his friends. If he wishes to be comfortable he will find someway of making himself so, even if this means emptying Faythes draws to stuff all his shirts into a single large jumper to make himself a soft woolly pillow… yes, that isn’t beneath him…If he wants a hug, he will demand it. If he’s cold or too hot he’ll complain until it is sorted. Basically he will go to any lengths to make sure his needs and wants are satisfied to the best of his comfort.
Possessive :: Nagendra believes that anything he wants, should be his. Be it money, jewellery, a particular seat, a piece of food, a particular glass or mug, anything like that can really spark off his intense possessiveness. Even people… Faythe is his now, after all, and he is not always pleased to have to share Faythes attention and time. He wants it all to himself after all, even if sometimes it might but him to have Faythe as a guardian, it still doesn’t mean that he has any intention at all of actually sharing him with anyone else… that would be far too accommodating! It doesn’t just stop at Faythe though, this extends to anyone he decides he likes…
Ill mannered :: Negendra, if displeased in any way has been known to resort to rudeness. He’s condescending, cold and generally rather spiteful if he feels that a bit of bullying will actually get him his way. He will call names and mention things he thinks others will probably be sensitive about. It is one trait that Faythe is really hoping to wean out of him… and a soon as possible.
Blunt :: Nagendra is not one to p***y foot around a point. If he wants something, he’ll tell you. If he thinks something is relevant, he’ll tell you. If you ask an opinion, and his is negative, he’ll still tell you. He doesn’t spare a persons feelings and can be very blunt about things that many others would use a little tact when talking about them. He generally just wants to get his point across as he is sure his own opinion is the most valid… and why temper perfection with caution?
Lustful :: Nagendra wants a lot of things… and once the idea of possessing them has occurred to him he will pursue whatever it is with a real fervour. His lust only really shows in this way at this point as his mind is still too young to understand that there are things other than money, possessions and attention that he could lust after… he probably doesn’t even really that it’s a form of lust, though it will certainly occur to him one day…
Judgemental :: Negendra doesn’t treat all people as equals. People he finds to be good company, people who respect him or that he finds to be pleasing to look at will get better, possibly politer treatment from him than people he decides he just doesn’t like at all… and he has no shame at all in the fact that he treats people like this, he honestly see’s it as totally normal and expected behaviour.
Orientation :: Too young to know just now really.
Relationship status :: Not even a childhood crush~
Likes :: Having his way, people addressing him politely and respectfully, being comfortable, getting what he wants, others listening to him, possessing things he lusts after, hoarding his belongings, being around beautiful people, lounging in a hot bath, being told he’s wonderful and beautiful, being surrounded by people who adore him and only him, living in a well off way, having everything his heart desires and having someone to do things for him. Basically he likes to have whatever it is he wants on a given day handed to him on a golden platter by someone extremely beautiful.
Dislikes :: Being told no, having to do things for himself, being cold, getting wet in water that is not an overly scented bubble bath, being alone, being ignored (this is Faythe’s best way of disciplining him), not getting something he wants, having to share, losing something he wanted to keep and just generally not having things go entirely his way.
Favourite’s Food – Very rich food, anything he knows is expensive and steak, cooked rather rare. Drink – He claims he likes dark red win, though really, it’s red grape juice… Colour – Dark red, he claims this is the real reason he lets Faythe look after him. He likes most warm shades however. Weather – Hot sunny days Season – Summer, the middle of it is the best part Place – Curled in a massive pile of cushions and pillows on the sofa. Item – Anything of value that he’s found that day… he covets Faythe’s cross, but Faythe will not let him have it… Thing to do – Have a totally lazy day with some of Faythe’s prettier friends around him, watching Faythe fetch and carry for the group of them. This doesn’t happen often…
Quirks :: Honestly, a good deal of Nagendra’s personality is a quirk, but his really individual points are the fact that when he’s agitated or uncomfortable he swishes his tail a good deal, and when very content he’s been known to hiss. Though he also does this out of irritation, though it’s a far sharper sound when he’s displeased.
Brief History ~ Originally a scent in a shop, Nagendra went home with Sati ~ ~ When Sati left, Nagendra found himself alone ~ ~ After a time of being alone, Nagendra took matters into his own hands ~ ~ He met Faythe ~ ~ He decided Faythe would do, and contrived a way to make sure Faythe invited him home ~ ~He decided he’d stay with Faythe ~

  Name : Faythe Western
Nickname : None really. Age : 28 years
Date of Birth :: 15th of November (or equivalent month)
Appearance
Height :: 6ft2ins
Hair colour :: Dark wine red
Natural Hair colour :: Black
Eye colour :: Dark brown
Build :: Slender but slightly toned, not massively so, he doesn’t work out as such, but he’s healthy.
Clothing :: He tends to prefer darker shades, shirts, t-shirts, shirts over tank tops, and sometimes waistcoats over the shirts. When he’s lazy he likes large hoodies and jumpers.
Jewellery :: He has a large silver cross which he wears almost all of the time along with some other rather simple jewellery.
Personality in brief :: Faythe will come across as fairly quiet and serious when you first meet him. He doesn’t smile frequently, and when he does it’s not a big smile, but once you get past his usually cautious first impression he’s actually a fairly nice guy for the most part. He’s rarely rude, he’s not hot tempered, though he can be a little surly. In general Faythe is pretty good to his friends, though he’s quiet enough not to have that many. He’ll help out where he can and has a real touch of conscience when people around him are struggling, though he usually tries to act nonchalant anyway, as though he’s helping without really feeling any care.
Basically he’s a generally good guy who might just seem a little chilly when you first meet him, though he’ll warm up to you as long as you don’t do anything to actually overtly annoy him. Even if you do he’ll likely give you another chance, he’s not really judgemental, and he’s also known to be pretty patient.
Personality Breakdown ::
Calm :: Faythe is usually very mellow, he doesn’t tend to get too over emotional either by way of excitability or unhappiness, he tends to have his head on his shoulders and just let life take its course. It’s very hard to actually ruffle him.
Friendly :: Faythe likes people as a general rule, and though he’ll never be outwardly overly warm when he first meets you he’ll not be unwelcoming or cold. He’ll treat you like he would anyone else, and he’s not one to be of the opinion that it’s possible to have too many friends.
Serious :: Though he does know how to laugh Faythe doesn’t take life especially lightly. He knew when he needs to actually pay attention to things and he knows when he can actually take things in a little more of a light hearted way. He’s not one to laugh at people for petty worries and fears however, and pretty much seems to understand that some things just need to be listened to properly.
Helpful :: Though he may make some pretence at grumbling about Faythe is actually pretty happy to help a friend out if they ask him to, usually he’ll help even if it’s not really someone he’s that close to that’s asking. Though he’s not going to totally put himself out for something utterly trivial, if someone genuinely needs his help he will do his best to be there for them.
Patient :: Faythes patience is almost endless. It takes a very long time to make him lose his temper, and he can focus on repetitive tasks and dull conversations almost endlessly, even if he doesn’t enjoy it. The only thing that can push him past the end of his patience is people deliberately trying to wind him up, and people asking for his advice, agreeing its good and then ignoring it totally anyway. It’s worse if the person concerned then proceeds to complain that they should have listened.
Mild :: Faythe doesn’t massively over react to anything. He’s quiet gentle and soft spoken. If you annoy him he’ll quietly tell you that what you’re doing bugs him rather than kicking up a real stink about it. He’s soft spoken, and generally rather mild in nature. This doesn’t mean he’s a push over though, it just means that rather that being rude and abrasive he’ll quietly just say no, and leave it at that.
Firm :: Faythe usually knows when he’s right, and can admit when he’s wrong. But when he decides to dig his heels in about something it’s pretty hard to move him. When he knows something is wrong his tone of voice and his attitude will quite firmly show his beliefs. He’s not a pushover. He knows what he wants and he’s not one for letting people push him around.
Clever :: Faythe likes to read, he likes to research and he very much enjoyed schooling. He wouldn’t claim to be the smartest person around, but he knows he has a brain and he tries to use it. He’d call himself smart, though certainly not a genius, but it’s nice to be fairly confident in your own intellectual faculties.
Withdrawn :: Though he may be friendly and warm enough after you know him, he’s pretty cool and withdrawn when you first meet him, and even after you do get to know him he can still seem a little like he’s holding something back, like he’s worried about investing himself fully for whatever reason.. maybe he’ll get past this one day…?
Secretive :: Faythe has a bad habit of keeping himself to himself. He doesn’t like to burden people with his problems, and he doesn’t really like to talk about his past. It’s not because it was a bad one, he just tends to keep his stories within his mind rather than choosing to share them. If he decides to tell you about himself well, you can definitely be assured that he really does value your say and your opinion. He doesn’t let many people in.
Orientation : Open minded. He’s not actively seeking romance, he’s not really thinking about it much, but he knows that he’ll fall in love with the person in the end, not the gender.
Relationship status : Single.
Likes : Walking, talking, music, spicy food, vegetables though he’s not a vegetarian, reading a good book, writing, making cakes and sweets, working in his café/tea room, his friends, keeping his apartment clean, showers, company.
Dislikes : The sun being too hot as he burns, burning cakes, any kind of burning really, really noisy people shouting, hiccups, moments of clumsiness, sleeping too late, forgetting things.
Favourite’s Food : Faythe’s favourite food is a vegetable curry, probably a korma or a fruit salad, tough tie. Drink : Pear cider, or Perry if you will, though he also likes vanilla milkshake. Colour :: Purple, though he doesn’t really think it suits him, so he tends to avoid wearing it. Weather :: Heavy rain, as long as he has an umbrella, or can watch it from under some form of shelter. He especially likes it when he’s trying to sleep as its very soothing to listen to. Season :: Autumn, the leaves are rather attractive, and it’s still warm enough to be pleasant. Place :: The small café he runs with his best friend, Jayce. Item :: Probably the large silver cross he wears. It was his grandmothers, they were close. Thing to do :: Strangely, bake. He loves making cakes and sweet things, even though he doesn’t often eat them.
Quirks :: Faythe spends a good deal of time fiddling with the large cross necklace he wears. This is because despite everything he sometimes feel ever so slightly awkward in social situations, not drastically, just very slightly. Faythe has insomnia, he hardly ever sleeps.
Brief History :: He was born to parents who were only passingly interested in having a family. At seven years old he found himself with a brother. (Ellewrath) At fourteen he stated to look after said brother as his parents preferred holidays. At sixteen his best friend, Jason (Jayce) started helping him… At eighteen he moved out for a couple of years and his parents came home, When he was twenty one, Elle came to live with him as he was miserable. Elle is now able to live on his won and Faythe has moved away again. They’re still very close, and stay in touch. He now lives in Flat three, the third floor of the building that also houses his friend Jayce, down in flat two, and “The Blue Room” the tea shop the two of them own together.

Flat three makes up the top floor of a fairly nice three story building. The building as a whole is owned by Jason Slater, and Faythe Western together, as they have renovated the ground floor entirely and turned it into a tea room. The middle floor, flat two, is the residence of Jayce, and the top floor, Flat three, is the residence of Faythe and now, Nagendra.
The flat is done up rather nicely in warn shades. You step in through the door directly into a fairly large living room. It's painted in mainly cream with one wall in a very dark brown, and one in a slightly lighter shade, it's rather like stepping into a chocolate shop. The floor is wooden with three or four medium cream rugs laid out on it, there is a cream sofa with a scattering of cushions in brown shades over it, and an armchair to match. This is the largest room in the flat. It has a nice window which over looks the street.
The living room leads through one door into the medium kitchen, large enough for Faythe to cook in on his own, and hold a small dining table, enough for four people to sit on as long as they're not going to want to move around too much. A door leading out of the kitchen takes you to the bathroom which has a fairly nice bath/shower set, and of course, the toilet and sink. It's coloured in white, cream and a nice dusky orange, its rather like sunset inside.
There are two other doors that lead out of the living room, on the other side. They are right next to each other. One leads into Faythes room which was decorated in darker shades, two walls are white in one corner, the other two are red, the skirting board, picture rails, inside of the door and the window frames are all painted black, and the furnishings are a similar dark shade. Faythe has a double bet with black bedding, a wardrobe, a desk and a large chest of drawers.
Nagendras room was painted upon his moving in with the remainder of the red paint, and to appease his rather desperate want for gold and luxuries, Faythe splashed out for some golden metallic gloss to paint the skirting and frames. He's also said that as soon as Elle, his younger brother can come for a visit, he'll get the artistic youth to paint some attractive murals of treasure and jewels on the walls for him. His furnishings are simpler than he would like, only a wardrobe, a small dressing table and a single bed thus far... but he's working on it...

A place designed to bring you happiness, comfort, and total relaxation while you escape the rush of the world.
 “The Blue Room” is a small tea room that Faythe owns with his best friend Jason Slater, or Jayce as most know him as. They’ve been friends a long time and this business venture seemed a good way of keeping them in touch.
It’s a small place, with a few tables that the pair try to keep nicely laid out. They have a couple of people who work for them part time, cleaning and laying the tables, as the two men do most of the baking and serving themselves. It isn’t really very bustling after all, so it isn’t too much work.
The décor in the place is a mixture of pale and medium blues, with bright whites kept spotlessly clean, which work to give the place its name. It was a rather run down building when they first bought it, and makes up the bottom floor of a three story building. There are large window over the front which allow for a lot of natural light, they are hung however with a set of floral lace curtains and blue drapes which can be pulled across at night. The door is made of hardwood, but has been painted white like the window frames and skirting boards, and there is a small bell over it which jingles when anyone walks in.
The floor is white lino, much to Faythes distaste, for ease of cleaning, but he makes sure to do a good job at keeping it nice and white, rather than allowing smudges and smears to grow… no one would want to work or dine in a grubby tea room after all…
The tables are set with care each morning, and cleared completely each afternoon. Some days there are small vases holding a single flower set out on the tables, other days there aren’t, it depends what the friends have been able to buy.

The china was selected by Faythe when the place was started up, to match the décor they had chosen, as well as being light and attractive to look at. Their main client base was supposed to be women in their adult and probably elderly years, so they had to make sure their selections would appeal to that sort of age group. They believe they’ve done quite well.
Most of the ground floor has been knocked through into the one main room with only a kitchen at the back. There is also a staircase that leads from behind a painted white door that will take you up into the main body of the house. This is the only way to get into the flats upstairs, the middle floor belongs to Jayce, while the top floor, flat three, is the home of Faythe, and now Nagendra.
 They do not really serve much in the way of main meals in the tea room, as the focus is of course on tea. Cream tea is of course provided, a plate of jam and cream filled scones and a pot of tea. This is a truly brittish classic. The scone is served warm, and is, in The Blue Room, at least, always one that was freshly baked that morning. The scone is split in half and each side is spread with clotted cream, after which a generous amount of strawberry jam (unless another type is requested) is added on top. There is never any butter provided, and the tea is served in a pot with a jug of milk, and cubed sugar.

They also serve ‘high tea’ later on in the day, a couple of hours after lunch time for a group of people, though small groups and individuals can request a smaller plate to be made up. Small finger sandwiches and savouries are put together along with a series of pastries and cakes, both individual ones, and slices of larger ones. They also serve fruit with the meal as its used for the most part to replies the evening meal for those with a smaller appetite. In The Blue Room they serve it slightly earlier than recommended, between the hours of three and five.
You can of course simply settle into the small tea room and order a coup of tea alone, or simply a slice of cake, a sandwich or a pastry, either sweet or savoury. They had a different selection each day. It is really Faythe and Jayce finding a way of doing what they love, cooking, talking and generally having a nice time, while getting paid for it.
They serve a variety of different teas, breakfast tea, fruit teas, herbal teas, green tea, all manner of them, simply ask for your favourite variety and chances are they will have some, if not, they will do what they can to ensure that the next time you pay them a visit, it will be in stock!
All in all the place is designed to have a homely feel to it and serve freshly baked cakes and pastries as well as tea and small meals. The prices are fairly low, though not really cheap as such, as the boys have to earn their living, but they do what they can to make sure the experience of everyone who goes into the tea room is a nice one.

Child As a youngster, Nagendra is impetuous and rather demanding. He knows what he likes and it is going to take Faythe quite a while to get used to him. Even thought their personalities seem to crash quite badly the pair seem to manage to function together in their own weird little way.
