Everybody or every Bronco fan is asking themselves Simms or Orton? Which one of these young quarterbacks will lead the Broncos, since Jay Cutler left, and will continue the Elway era?
Post your opinion now, who do you think is better or will lead the Broncos and why?

Post your opinion now, who do you think is better or will lead the Broncos and why? I believe that Orton will be the better of the two. He has more experience and has shown that when he has some time and not as much pressure as was consistently given to him in Chicago, he can be one of the top QB's in the league.

The Broncos are a better team with Jay Cutler, but they can improve a lot with the two first round picks they add to their total, along with a third rounder and Orton.
Both Orton and Simms are pretty good QBs. But Orton fits McDaniels' system a bit better, and should do fairly well with their offense.

i honestly think thigpen is better than cassel, i am more impressed with how thigpen performed with the weapons he had VS cassel and that armoury that was avalable to him with the patriots.

I think that Chris Simms will be the starter, if not at the begnning of the season, then some point during the season. Simmis has one hell of a cannon, hes a lefty, and he is th eson of a legend. He has his own talent which has shown through, and if he hadnt gotten injured, still may be the starting QB for Tampa.
Plus, Orton still has hi sspleen, advantage Simms xd

I don't really think so. Cassel has very good mechanics, and is the prototypical starting QB. He also has good vision, and has learned from being in one of the NFL's best coaching systems and offenses. Thigpen did better than expected with the Chiefs last season, but Matt Cassel is their guy.

Well i would have to say Orton would definitely be the better QB, he has proven himself on the field and has made nice plays. I think he has what it takes to start in Denver.

I also think that Orton will be the favorite to land the starting QB position in Denver this season. But I don't really think that "he has proven himself on the field." He was the just better QB in Chicago, and won the nod over Grossman. That's not saying much.

As long as Denver can keep him on his feet, I think he'll do good. He had a lot less to work with in Chicago as well. Brandon Marshall alone is better than anyone the Bears still have stressed Orton isn't an amazing QB but he's shown enough that you can trust him to do what he has to do to help his team win.
The key to him beating out Grossman is that Rex is the measuring stick for failure, currently... If he played better than Rex, it means he won't play like an idiot, he won't lose you games, he won't randomly fumble for no real apparent reason, etc. xd

Marshall, Royal, Gaffney, Stokley, Jackson, Scheffler, Graham, and a handful of good RBs. Not to mention, a pretty good offensive line, and a new head coach with a great offensive philosophy.

I will have to go with Orton on this one. He showed signs of promise in Chicago, and with a solid offensive unite. And overall a better unit than the one he had with Chicago, we should see if he is capable of being a true starter in the NFL.
Simms also showed some promise in his young career, but part of his inconsistency is more related to youth than with Orton. It is possible that Simms can mature with his move to Denver and become a solid starter.
Most likely I see Denver, if they are lucky to have one of the top QB's in this years draft, drop down to their pick in the first or even the second round. Maybe not Stafford or Sanchez, but there are other good, potential franchise QB's in the draft that will definately go undrafted through the first two rounds or more.

Forte was good, but was really all Orton had in Chicago. In Denver, he'll have Moreno, Marshall, Royal, and many more promising weapons.
