I'm new to steampunk and don't have anything considered steampunk (not on it's own anyway). Sewing isn't an issue, I've been vary adventurous lately. What I do have:
Brown corduroy pants I think will work, and white button-down shirts. I'm almost done make a brown vest.
I just finished making a black high-waisted lace-backed gathered skirt but it's more of a lolita skirt. I suppose I could do something with it.
I have some lace-up boots, the generic JC Penny kind that go up to the ankle. Black slippers. Black platform boots, it'd be nice it they laced rather than zipped. Black(noticing a pattern?) boots with normal 2 inch heels.
Some of my dad's old ties from the 1970s, but I think they'd work.
I've been looking for accessories but have come up short, still working on it though. So what other clothing can I wa

you could embelish them with gaers and sprockets from old clock s and sutch
