The sky presented itself with several different hues of orange as the flickers of sun gently glittered, giving its last goodbyes to the Earth. In another couple of hours, the moon would make its appearance to rule the darkness of the sky. But for now, the sun still had some last partings to say before taking its leave. Kizoku had strayed away from his mother, who was busy talking up a storm with a friend of hers. Gedda's true objective was to spend the day getting to know her new son better by taking him to the park. However, she was side tracked from finishing her mission by a friend she had not seen in a while. It had saddened Kizoku greatly that he didn't have his mother's company now, but he couldn't express his hurt feelings. It wouldn't be worth it.

Rather, the dark-haired male moved himself away from the presence of the chit-chatting females to go find something entertaining besides the squawking voices of two very chipper women. He moved himself to the shade of a tree. Even though the flourishing leaves did not block out the rays of the setting sun completely, it was the best choice since there didn't seem to be any other tall object to rid the rays away from his grey gaze. Holding up the small model airplane his guardian had bought for him, Kizoku stared at it. A small smile cracked upon the little boy's face, a pleased expression rarely seen by others. Gedda had bought him the model airplane only a day ago, but Kizoku had already finished putting it together. For now, it was the most prized object he had own. The pocky boy had worked through the night putting the plane together. His mother ushered him to bed several times, but Kizoku would deny her every time.

Holding the plane up, Kizoku turned the plane about in awkward angles as the low rumble of a "Zoom" escaped from his mouth. A large gust of wind blew and immediately he gained an idea. Licking his thumb, he held it up to the air. The wind felt stable, maybe it would work? Taking a chance, Kizoku lightly pushed the airplane to the wind. It flew gently for a couple of seconds, staying aloft due to the plane's cheap wood. However, gravity took its toll on the plane and pulled it back to Earth. Eventually, the plane went crashing down and hit against the ground below. The plane broke into tiny fragments, scattering about in different directions. Shock blossomed upon Kizoku's face as he ran towards his broken plane. Huffing with anger, the boy stamped his foot to somewhat relieve his urge to hurt something. All that work for nothing.

Meanwhile, another pocky boy had wandered away from his guardian as well. Really, Nash didn't know what to do with the child sometimes. Ceinlys didn't seem much like other little boys, wanting to cook things in the kitchen (often making a huge mess which he wouldn't clean up - the only exception to his otherwise love of cleaning) or he wanted Nash to buy him dresses, of all things, or dolls or other items generally thought of as girly items.

And yet, he knew that he was a boy. He had been asked such a question several times by his guardian ... or Nash would say something like, "You know you're a boy, right? Why do you want a dress?"

And Ceinlys would just blink, then smile and say, "Because I'm pretty... and I like those things." Really. Nash no idea where he got it from. But there wasn't much he could do about it... without making his charge miserable. Though he did try to keep him from wearing the dresses out of the house.

It seemed that he had succeeded this time, at least ... though Ceinlys was wearing a pretty pink coverall over a shirt that had a print of strawberries on it. He was wandering through that small park, picking flowers ... when he saw the model plane come crashing down.

Then he looked up to see another child run out from under a tree and stamp his foot, looking really upset. Ceinlys's pink eyes widened and he ran over - delicately - and peered at the plane a little closer. "I'm sorry about your plane... " he said softly, almost shyly - though he was by no means shy in truth.

Kizoku starred up at the male who had addressed his plane, blinking to his words. "It wasn't your fault." he replied towards the boy as he folded his arms, one under the other. "So you don't need to apologize." Bending down and picking the tattered plane up, Kizoku lightly moved around the pieces. The left wing was completely shattered in half while the other wing was somewhat intact. The pilot's seat seemed to have projected itself into the cockpit window, shattering the tiny plastic coverings for the windows. The small wheels that were used to hold the plane up were missing. Sighing, Kizoku frowned at each piece of damage discovered as he analyzed his toy. Eventually, he returned his gaze to the male with pink hair. Wondering why the other boy was still standing there, he addressed him. "Um, Pink eyes?" he asked, noting the color of the other's eyes. He had not learned the male's name yet, so he was working with appearances. "Or whatever name you were bestowed with, would you happen to have some glue?" It was worth a chance to ask. If he had some glue, he could probably repair the plane while in the park.

Pink eyes? What kind of a thing was that to call a person! Ceinlys almost teared up prettily at that... but then realized that the other boy simply didn't know what to call him and instead glanced down at the ground, rocking back and forth a little on his heels. "I'm Ceinlys... " he said softly, glancing up between lashes.

Then he shook head slowly. "I don't have any with me... there's some at home probably," he replied, a little hopeful note in his voice. He could go and get it, maybe...

Pursing his lips, Kizoku stared down at his plane. How horrible. The boy in front of him, apparently named Ceinlys, was no use to him now. Rather rudely, Kizoku turned his back to Ceinlys. "There is no need to do that." Kizoku said rather rashly as he flexed his finger lightly, the plane rocking with every muscle movement. "It would be nightfall by the time you return." Sighing heavily, he expressed his hurt expression to his dear plane. Now he would have to beg his mother to run down to the nearest dollar store. Even though Kizoku only had about eighty-six cents on him, it shouldn't cost much to obtain a tube of Elmer's for his plane. Turning back around, a small, almost unnoticeable smile laced his lips. "Ceinlys was it?" he questioned, though he already knew the answer. "I'm Kizoku. Now, there seems to be a store a short walking distance away from here. I cannot walk by myself. So, would you like to accompany me to venture there?"
PostPosted: Thu Mar 05, 2009 3:04 pm

Ceinlys blinked at the other boy and frowned slightly. "My house isn't that far... wouldn't a store be the same distance?" he asked, thinking the other's behavior a bit odd already.

But... girls weren't supposed to insist on things like that, right? So he kind of sighed and nodded. "All right, I'll walk with you, if you want..."

Of course, once Kizoku made a decision, his hardheadedness made his stick to it. Ceinlys plan sounded much more reasonable and Kizoku knew that for a fact, but he favored his idea much more better. "It is decided than." he said in a shrill voice as he began walking, not looking back to see if the other was following. As he walked, he crunched the wing that was mostly damaged, causing it to shatter to several more pieces. His face grew grim from the accident. How horrible. Gedda was still still talking to her friend before she paused. "Nancy, have you seen the little boy I was with?" she asked as she turned his head towards the blond. The other female shook her head about, her tight curls bouncing in movement with her head. Gedda's eyes opened horrifically as panic rushed through her. Oh crap... was the thought that echoed through her head as she searched around. Apparently, she did not know where Kizoku had gone. How horrible.

Ceinlys just nodded at that and followed behind the other, wincing at the cracking from that wing.

"If... you squeeze it too much, it'll break more," he pointed out - voice quiet, almost hesitant.

Inwardly, though, he was kind of thinking this boy was a bit dumb. Throw a plane like that around and it was gonna break. He should've known that. And then instead of letting Ceinlys go get glue that was free, he wanted to go buy some... and now he was just breaking the thing more. Geez.

The disturbed expression on Kizoku's face explained very well that Ceinlys had a point. Sighing, he nodded his head. "I guess...You're right." Kizoku responded as he continued walking. But still, Kizoku held the plane close to him, almost cradling it. It was dear to him after all.

As panic shrilled through Gedda, her friend could only blink at her. Gedda had searched everywhere. Under the bench she was seated upon, up in the same tree Kizoku had left from, even in her purse though she doubted Kizoku could magically fit in it. Sighing, an aching feeling caused her chest to pain. This was just horrible. She slumped back in her seat as her friend tried to coax her and tell her everything was going to be alright.

Ceinlys reached over then to kind of pat the other's shoulder lightly. "It'll be all right... we can fix it," he assured the other boy - though at this point he rather doubted that. The thing was too messed up.

Meanwhile, Nash had come outside to look for his own child, calling his name a few times as he headed toward the park. He knew that Ceinlys liked to play out here and he wasn't too worried since the whole neighborhood was pretty safe... but still.

He'd told the boy not to wander off. With a sigh, Nash spotted the two women sitting there and walked up, smiling faintly. "Sorry to bother you... but would either you of happen to have seen a little pink-haired boy run through here?"

Kizoku nodded his head. He did smile, but just lightly ticked his head up and down and hummed a "Mhm." Turning his grey gaze up, Kizoku noticed they didn't much farther of a walk to reach the store. The reassured him a little bit.

Gedda turned her gaze up to the question, her worried expression pressing to serious for a bit. "I'm sorry sir." she replied. "I haven't. Though, my little boy seems to be missing to. What was his name? Maybe my boy, Kizoku, seems to know him." Gedda found it to be kind of odd that two young boys seem to be both missing at once. It couldn't just be coincidence. "Maybe they both went off somewhere together?" was the idea that she insisted. Gedda's friend shrieked at the man, but Gedda just held a sullen gaze. She was used to seeing others different. She was different too, though, she didn't like releasing such information.

Nash winced slightly at the shriek of one of the women, ears flattening down for a second. Oops... he really had to learn to hide his little 'extras' with illusion whenever he walked out of the house.

The woman who spoke didn't seem to have a problem with him, though... which was odd but he wasn't going to question. "I'm sorry if I startled you..." he said to the one woman, then nodded to Gedda. "Perhaps. Ceinlys has a bit of a tendency to ... wander off."

Ceinlys had also noted they were getting close and kind of nodded up ahead. "There's the store ... uh. Do you even have any money?" he asked - the thought suddenly occurring to him that they might need such a thing to buy glue here.

And he definitely didn't have money on him...

"Wander off?" the other woman questioned, still shaken up by Nash even though he had kindly apologized to her. Gedda just tilted her head to one side and put a finger to her lip curiously. "Kizoku is not much of an adventurer, nor does he really like the company of others..." Gedda was just talking aloud to herself. She really didn't note either her friend or the male standing in front of her at that time. Eventually, Gedda blinked herself back into reality. "I really have no idea where either of them could be." she spoke, her voice loosing its tone. She didn't know Kizoku that much unfortunately. She really had no idea where to find him.

Relaxing his taut muscles, Kizoku stared ahead towards the store. Nodding his head, Kizoku hurried his footing. "Come on." he lightly beckoned as he walked, his legs having an urge to run.

Nash frowned slightly at that, thinking. "Hm... well, there isn't much around here that's interesting, other than the park itself... and I don't know if you live in the neighborhood or not, but it's usually fairly safe." He smiled faintly. "Otherwise, I wouldn't left Ceinlys out of the house alone."

If it wouldn't cause something of a sensation, he might have taken to the air to look for the boys, but he didn't think things quite that serious at the moment.

Ceinlys tilted head at the other's nod and then just shrugged slightly - though he had no idea how much money Kizoku could possibly have. But then again, he didn't know how much something like glue would cost either. Nash had yet to teach him about such things - except to tell him things did cost money and he couldn't just pick items up and walk off with them.

Kizoku kept walking. He did not take heed towards the other's words, though he believed he had enough. His footing stopped as he cracked another piece of the wing. But he continued onwards anyways afterwards.

Gedda nodded her head. "Mm, it seems like a peaceful area so I doubt I have anything to worry about." Gedda's friend shook her shoulder in worry of the other's appearance, but Gedda just shrugged her off.
