On one of the walls in the main HQ Monkey was working on hanging a sign and had to heave a desk down the stairs to sit underneath said sign. After he had successfully managed to tack it to the wall he smiled at his work, simply because small things like this were usually the most difficult for him to do but ask him to build a boat and you'd have an arc. but ask him to pin up a poster and you'll get ... a mess. But this looked reasonable. The sign Beach field trip!
Surfing, boogie boarding, sun tanning, swimming, castle building contests, and much more!
Turn in permission slip by November 7th! Permission form Attention all parents and students! On November 8th there will be a field trip to the ocean! There's going to be a sand castle building contest, time for surfing, swimming, reef walking, a chance to sun bathe, listen to loud music, relax and hang out with friends. What you should bring: -A couple towels -Something to keep you occupied on the car ride *Not noisy* -Sand castle building equipment *Be considerate with space* -Surf or boogie board *If you will need one* -Gold for food If you're an adult SM you still need to turn in the permission slip! Just sign it yourself and give it to me!To parents: If you would like to come with us on this trip, please please check the box and drop a PM to me. You'll be assigned a small group of SM's (depending on how many sign ups their are to how many parents volunteer). Teens will be checked in on but not watched like a hawk unless you are there to watch them. If there are any special needs of your SM don't hesitate to come yourself so you can monitor it, if not then say so on the permission slip that will be turned into me. ((Alright... You know that a parent is supposed to sign the slip for anyone under an adult... Even for miss Milla who has been a teen for longer then most adult breedables have been in exsistance.))

Since only Odd, Milla, Hariel and Rome were going on the trip Monkey thought it best to leave little Brice at home with his wife and Sanyu. And considering there were only a total of 5 persons going he rented a Jeep and made sure to get the insurance.
"Alright... So now all we have to do is wait and then go."
There the two sat, at the front of the HQ waiting for the others to show up. As they waited Rome had taken his liberty with the radio and had it turned way up.

"MOM, for crying out loud, it's just a joke!" Milla said, laughing as she leapt from the red minivan. "Don't have a cow!"
Her mother glared at her from the drivers seat. "You almost gave me a heart attack! I thought Sk had taken the shop books and destroyed them."
The teenager rolled her eyes and smiled. "Oh come on. It was funny to stack 'em up against the door. I just wanted to show you how much work you do. ...Books up to the doorknob. Funny, see?" Her mother was less than amused.
"Fine. Just don't do it again, okay?" She leaned her head out the window and called at the father sitting there. "Hello Monkey!! Sorry to run, but I'm late for the shop. Talk to you later!" She turned to her daughter. "And you be good."
"Duh," the girl laughed, and skipped off to tackle her friend.
"Hey surfer boy!"

Hearing a car pull up Rome looked up and grinned seeing his creative writing and gaiaology teacher's car. But trying to play it cool he pretended to be much more interested in the jeep's radio then he actually was.
Monkey saw Em and waved with a smile. "Ah no problemo!.. Wait. You sure you don't wanna come? I'm sure you could use a small break..." He could already hear what Rome would be saying if he wasn't pretending to be preoccupied. "But alright, see you around no doubt. Don't work yourself to death."
"Surfer boy? What? Who're you calling surfer boy, island reject?" The SMO knew it was finally okay to come out of the pretense and poke fun at milla.

Em shook her head, laughing out the window.
"No, this," she indicated her daughter's leaving the car, "Is my break. See you later, Monkey!" And with that, she gave her daughter one last blown kiss, and zoomed away.... well, as well as one CAN 'zoom' in a minivan.
"Island Reject? Island Goddess, you mean," Milla said, wiggling her hips in a hula-like dance and tossing her head.

Monkey waved his goodbye to Em then checked off Milla on the list. Now only to wait for two more to check in before they left.
Rome on the other hand was having a difficult time keeping his eyes where they belong on Milla. But the hula dance was a good excuse to allow them to wander. This trip... Rome was planning on making his move. The future was cast aside, and the moment would be lived to the fullest. What happens at the beach, stays at the beach.
"Yeah... Goddess... Somethin' like that..." Rome retorted playfully as he re-adjusted his surfboard to the top of the Jeep to keep his eyes off of Milla.

"Oh sweet, you're bringing the surfboard. ...You know, you still haven't taught me how to ride that thing." She grinned, rubbing a bit of dust off her skull and stretching out to see the board better. It was only then that she noticed Rome's father standing nearby, and waved at him.
"Oh- hello there, Mr. Monkey," she said, sitting back on her heels and remembering to be polite to the adults. "How is your wife?"

"Yeah, totally babe. I'll teach you. If you teach me how to dance like that..."
Monkey put his hand through his mohawk. "She's... Alive...." Sigh. Pause. "How about yourself? Ready to graduate? Lord knows I can't wait to get this wanker out of the house." To shake the thoughts of Kat out of his head he poked fun at Rome, which resulted in a soda cap to be chucked at his head.
"Hey! I'm no wanker... Old fart. You know you'll miss me..." Rome defensivly stuck his tongue out after nailing his Dad in the side of the head. Colten himself had taught Rome how to throw, even if it was with his tail instead of his arm.
Monkey was expecting to be hit with something and squirted his water bottle back at Rome, getting him a little wet, laughing. "Yeah yeah.. That's what you think..." Monkey turned back to Milla and whispered, "two down and two more to go then I can walk around naked again..." A hearty laugh came out of his mouth soon after, knowing he was embarrasing Rome. Which was apparent in his silence.
