On February 1st, 2009, history will be made as the Pittsburgh Steelers go up against the Arizona Cardinals.
For the Cardinals, this will be their first ever Super Bowl appearance. No one gave this team a chance. They can't run the ball. They can't stop the run. James is too old. You know what? The Cardinals didn't care. Under Wisenhunt, the culture in the locker room changed. They believed in themselves and here they are trying to make history and win their first Superbowl under resurrected Warner and their tandem of wide receivers in Bolden and Fitzgerald.
On the other side, the Pittsburgh Steelers will try to become the first team to win 6 Super Bowls. Under the new head coach, Tomlin, their offensive philosophy has gone a change as they pass the ball and run a more spread type offense. However, their defense remains the same through the ages. Tough and physical. This year, they're the number 1 defense led by that great front seven with Hampton anchoring the line and of course, Polamalu leading the charge.
Will the Steeler defense dictate the pace of the game? Or will the Cardinals fly to new heights and beat the leagues number 1 defense?
I'm too lazy to think of anymore fancy stuff... So yeah... No poll here. Lol.

Its gonna be a heck of a game, the steelers might have the best defense, but the reason for the secondary to be so good is because of the blitzes and with Kurt Warner being so good against such situations its hard to say whats gonna happen, cant wait for the game, then we'll see.. who wants it more?

This will be one of the toughest games in Super Bowl history. But, even though I really hate to say this, I am going with the Steelers to win the Super Bowl 34-28. But the Cards will put up on hell of a fight since they want to win badly to make it a first in Franchise History. Another reason is because I want the Cards to get killed since they enihilated the Panthers...which was very sad.

Actually I hope for 49-0 Steelers but I know it ain't going to happen so the closest score that the Steelers can do is 32-28(because of Fitzgerald)

This should be a great and exciting game. Maybe not as exciting as Super Bowl XLII last year, but this should be a fun one. It's cool how both of these teams have pretty much opposite scheme of playing the game of football.
...I think that the Pittsburgh Steelers have the better chance of winning, but I will be rooting for the Arizona Cardinals to win.

Who would have thought that the Cardinals would make it to the Superbowl? And the Steelers did great this year too. It will be a great, fun game to watch. May even come down to last 2 mins for the win.
Im going for the Cardinals to win it, considering 1. My friend likes the Steelers. 2. Steelers beat the Pats this season, and if the Pats could have that win back they could have made it to the Playoffs. 3. They are a pretty good team and I like Bolden. 4. Steelers have been to the Superbowl a few years ago. The Cardinals on the other hand... >.>

Warner not good against blitz from what I've seen in the Phili game. He did awesome against the blitz, particularly against the Eagles o_O, it was mostly thanks to the game plan, short-quick-inside passes, screen passes, Warner was only sacked 2 times and worked just fine under pressure, I dont have the numbers cause Im not one of those crazy reporters that make uncessesary numbers, but Im sure he was good numbers under blitz against the eagles.

Kurt Warner against the Eagles, 21 of 28 for 279 yards, 4 TD, no INT, with a QB rating of 145.7 Sacked twice for losses of 12 yards
That's pretty damn good...
