Are they having a Wii sell-out again? confused
I would say check the closest stores to you that have Wiis available (usualy)..., and go to them as often as possible until they have one... That is the only way I could get mine when it happened to sell-out within an hour of arrival in stores...

well theres one store might have one fri so imma call em as soon as they open if so imma send a friend down there to pick it up for me.

I got mine at the Nintendo Store in NYC in 2007, because it was always sold out at every store near me. At the Nintendo Store, they got like 100 or so every morning, and sold all of them within the first two hours since opening time.
...I don't know where you could buy one. Check Gamestop, Toys R Us, Best Buy, Walmart, Circuit City, Sears, Target, etc. See if they have some available. If not, tell them to call you when a shipment arrives and tell them to reserve one for you. If all else fails, search online.
If buying online, I wouldn't recommend paying a ridiculous price for one. A Wii list price is $250, which comes with the system, a controller, wires, Wii Sports, and other crap. Don't pay more than like $300 for one.
...In short, I love my Wii, and it was a great buy. Worth every penny.

it is new, i paid 250.00 for it... and i got a spare controller later was told i need a num chuck or whatever too.

I'd suggest getting another Wii-mote and 2 nunchucks (assuming you're not the only gamer in your family), and maybe a game or two. i did get a extra controller and not a numchuck ill get that later. i has a month till her birthday. im not getting two numchucks when the console already comes with one. and shes only getting one game becuse i only has so much to spend. till every one pays me back there portion. shes getting mario kart from amazon that has two wheels.

Yeah, Mario Kart is a good game. ...And I don't remember, because I got my Wii two years ago, but I'm pretty sure that the Wii comes with just one Wii-remote and not any nunchucks.

The sell out in the summer last year.... had to wait for about 2 days to finally get it.
