I found this thing on livejournal and it sounded like fun so I decided to tell you all to join it too! The mission in 101 in 1001 is to make a list 101 things you want to do or achieve, and then try to accomplish as many goals as possible in 1001 days. It is meant to start on January 1st 2009 and end September 28 2011, approximately 2.75 years. It better then a New Years Resolution because you have more than a year, and because the goals are more specific. If you want to do it the LJ community is here, looking at other people's lists makes it alot easier to find 101 things to put on your list. This is the original site, from 2008. I dunno if they are starting a new one there for 2009, I was too lazy to look XD ANYWAYS it will be fun so everyone should do it! Most people have tons of things they want to do but never end up doing. Having a deadline will give you more motivation to accomplish your goals smile This is my list! Page stretching = BAD! DAILY/WEEKLY:
1. Take better care of my teeth
2. Take care of my skin everyday, no matter how lazy I feel.
3. Stop using elevators and escalators where there are stairs, unless I am going up or down 5 or more flights or have luggage.
4. Drink 3 glasses/bottles of water a day
5. Read 1 article on current events every day.
6. Complete a logic puzzle 3x a week
7. Save $10 every pay period.
8. At the end of 1001 days give that money to my parents smile
9. Turn off my computer nightly
10. Clean my room once a week
11. Have Cheerios every week for a healthy heart
12. Go to Church when I am not working on Sundays.
13. Get a manicure twice a month
14. Make something creative at least once a month (0/33)
ONGOING:
15. Get my GPA up to 3.0 (from 2.5 D smile
16. Print out pictures instead of letting them just get lost online.
17. Save enough money to do a summer session abroad on a continent I've never been to.
18. Watch 5 classic movies (0/5)
19. Complete the 50 book challenge twice (0/2)
20. Read 5 plays (0/5)
21. Read Lord of the Rings
22. Read the Bible cover to cover
23. Read The Narnia Series
24. Read 5 nonfiction books (0/5)
25. Donate 100,000 grains of rice at freerice.com
26. Save $50 a week when working for trips to fun places.
27. Start using a planner to write down assignments and events.
28. Learn to cook 5 things. (0/5)
29. Learn to surf
30. Learn Aussie Rules Football
31. Learn French
32. Learn To belly dance
33. Learn Sign Language
34. Learn how to do new hairstyles
35. Learn to play an instrument
36. Learn to play chess

49. Work on upper body strength

54. Start wearing shoes that are not sneakers, flipflops, or Ugg-like boots.
55. Care of CDs and DVDs
56. Try to be more outgoing
57. Try to be more silly
58. Join a church choir

60. Get a job in the hotel industry
61. Get accepted to one of the hospitality schools in Switzerland

I just read your list and it's AWESOME nymphie.
I like that you put stuff that needs to be done every day, and some stuff that's really hard, and lots of in between and weird and nice ones.
I have tons of ideas, this is going to take awhile. >w<

It took me like 4 hours to do my list D: It doesnt seem like a lot reading it but it took FOREVER to think of 101 things. I looked at a million other lists for ideas and it still took forever.
smile I cant wait to see your list. Don't forget to put "get a tramp stamp that says 'PROPERTY OF NYMPHIE'" on the list ;D

Thats what you think Pixie, but when I go visit you (WHICH I WILL DO WITHIN THE NEXT 1002 DAYS mad ) dont be surprised if a Nymphie tattoo magically appears on you.
I need to do some revising too. Thats my rough draft list. I need to reoragnize it too, so I can keep track of what I do daily and what is a one time thing, etc.
I just found a book in my brothers room called "1001 places to see before you die" that should be helpful in list revising XD

Reminds me of those lists with things people want to do
when they get to hear they don't have much time left

Okay, so this is a rough draft. I'm also going to make rules for the completion that are separate...nothing stringent, just things that I didn't think fit in the list that I want to use.
1. Write a complete novel, cover to cover, totally edited, that I’m happy with.
2. Write and record 5 songs (0/5)
3. Be employed for a whole year straight
4. Visit Evan
5. Move to Canada
6. Buy a whole comic mini series
7. Try sushi
8. Read the whole bible
9. Read The Silmarillion
10. Travel to another continent
11. Either shave my head or go a whole year with hair that’s never more than 3 inches long.
12. Finish a plushie
13. Sew an article of clothing
14. Knit an article of clothing
15. Put in 100 hours of community service (0/100)
16. Write a play, graphic novel/5 comics, movie/5 episodes of a TV show, or a year worth of daily web comics.
