my poor Nan is in hospital at the moment, this is her 3rd bout of bowel cancer, she's had 2 major abdomenal ops in one week, suffered a pulmonary embolism, now she's under sedation and on a ventilator until she's strong enough to breathe for herself again, stuffed full of a ton of medication, pipes, tubes, drips and drains bristling everywhere and i need to say something about it to someone, it's been hard keeping myself together at work crying

she's a stubborn lady, but she's 80 and not very strong anymore cry
i'm worried about her

Of course add the prayers and well wishes from my clan in CA. I hope everything is ok and that you stay strong too.

my Mum's just got back from the hospital and things are improving biggrin
Nan's slowly waking up so they've taken her off the sedative, and she's trying to take a few breaths herself, a few of the many tubes and wires have been removed too, so we're moving in the right direction.
it's funny isn't it, you don't realise how wound up you are about something until you get some good news, that feeling of relief seems to well up from the soles of your feet!

also, i have 4 new baby fishies, these are real tiny ones, only half the size of the others(who are a whopping 1.5cm now lol ) so another lot must have been born today

so i can go to bed in a much better frame of mind tonight!
