Brad Johnson is a solid QB, and the Cowboys shouldn't really lose a step. Brad is a leader in the huddle, and distributes the ball evenly. He may not have a cannon arm like Romo or improvise, but he plays basic football that can lead to wins. He gives the ball to his playmakers downfield towards the sidelines, and uses the tight end when he can. He has a bit of a better presence outside the pocket. One thing he does much better than Romo though, is giving the ball to his halfbacks in the air. Marion Barber and Felix Jones should have really nice contributions in the receiving game and on screens.

Huge lost for the Cowboys but let's see what Brad Johnson could do. If Brad Johnson does good would Tony Romo get his job back?

Even if Brad Johnson does extremely well in the absence of Romo, I can't see him taking over the starting QB position. Romo is the face of the franchise, the leader, and the playmaker. If Johnson does well, then maybe the Cowboys would give Romo an extra week or two to heal up his finger, but I see Romo finishing up the season starting in Dallas.

Johnson is a great QB. We all know he lead tampa by to a superbowl win. But here is the problem...that was 6 years ago, he's not the QB he was. He is older now, and he hasnt played since 2006. Also, without pac man, felix jones, and Romo, the boys are going to have some problems for the next few weeks.
Tampa Bay will beat the Cowboys in 2 weeks.

The newest development in this story is that Tony Romo says that he would try and play through injury, and be ready for this Sunday's game against the Rams. The Cowboys have yet to comment.

I read today on ESPN Tony Romo wants to play Sunday aganist Rams.

It's looking more likely that Brad Johnson will start for the Cowboys. Romo will dress up, but will either be the #2 or #3 QB for Dallas.
Wade Phillips seems to be making the right decision, but Jerry Jones wants Romo to play.

Classic dysfunctional Cowboys team under Jerry Jones. Wade Phillips looks like he's losing control. Terrell Owens is calling out his own teammates. Pacman Jones is distracting Dallas. Injuries. Bad Johnson playing bad. Losing to the Rams...
...It's just all going downhill, in an instant.

Spike The Super Saiyan they should bounce back and make wild card I don't know, that will be tough. If healthy, the Eagles and Redskins can join the Giants in talks of a playoff spot. also, the NFC South is threatening to send more than one team to the playoffs.
