So I meditate every night and it's been going fairly well. But three nights out of (roughly) 28, I've had this strange "feeling" and it's just weird. Words would never be able to explain it correctly...it's like being so focused and knowing you're on the right track, then it sort goes away and you're just you again. Has anyone ever experienced anything like that? I call it "swimming inside myself" but it's almost like trying to leave my body and "float" away. Just remeber this is the best I can describe it haha. So please comment I guess, it's alittle weird I know.

some times i feel like im just beginning to really get close to losing myself in my focus too, and then all of the sudden it seems as if my whole body is shaken back into the real world. kind of like the same sensation i get if im having a restless nights sleep and every time i get close to falling asleep my body wakes me up with an intense shiver.
its really weird. i dont like it at all. i have no idea what it is.
its kind of like your sensation, but i absolutely despise it when it happens to me. it just feels bad. which is really weird for something that happens during sitting practice. but it has only happened once during sitting practice. it happens mostly when im trying to focus in class lectures when im tired, all of the sudden my body will go BAM!. and im like aggaaaaahhahahhahaa! gonk .
im not sure if its a good thing... like its saying BAM! PAY ATTENTION! or if its like BAM! YOU HAVE A NEUROLOGICAL NERVE DISORDER! probably most of my concern and dislike of the sensation stems from my fear that it might be.
