Finally, football that really counts and matters begins today. The New York Giants will host the Washington Redskins on Thursday September 4, at 7:00pm est. and the game can be seen on NBC. Luckily, I get to go to this game! mrgreen
...I'm extremely excited for the new season to start. I want to see how my Giants will try to defend our Super Bowl title, although it's pretty improbable. I can't wait until kickoff. It'll be a lot of fun and a great game to see. Hopefully my streak will end of the Giants losing like the last 8 home games I've went to...
Anyone else excited about the NFL season starting? Anyone else going to any games this year?

Wow, I had a great time. And finally, for the first time in years for me, the Giants won a home game that I went to. The Giants beat the Redskins 16-7 on Thursday night. Their win was mostly due to stellar defensive performance, and great plays by Brandon Jacobs and Plaxico Burress. Games are always fun to go to, with tailgating, chilling, and actually going to the game. I was happy to see the Giants play so well, although they played a much better first half of the game. The pre-game ceremony was great, with old time Giant greats, and Strahan making an appearance with the Super Bowl trophy.

Brandon Jacobs trucks LandryI see what you mean... rofl lol, I remember everyone in the stadium was cheering for the first ten yards of the run, and then Jacobs decked Landry, and you could hear all the "oooohhhhh's."
