This is kind of a easy one to answer... It has to be eli. A superbowl win and most of all the win over the undifeated patriots... What has romo done be sides date jessica simpson. I think romo is all talk. I know he has skills but he has done nothing to prove hes done anything stare . Romo is a great player but not great enough to be better than eli.

this really isnot a fair question, yea eli has had the better carrer no. 1overall pick, superbowl mvp. but he is not better than romo. i belive if elis last name wasent manning he would have been a 5 rounder and hes shown up in 5 games out of his carrer and hes automaticly better than romo. no. romo has had only one truely bad game and that was against the bills. romo has the arm, the legs and the sheer magic that brett farve had. the ability to turn a disaster to a touchdown.
and no disrespect to giant fans but you sound like ur a giant fan

Tony Romo vs. Eli Manning?
If you had asked this question before that Giants' final game of the 2007 season, then I would have said Romo was the better QB. Although both were winless in playoff games up to that point, Romo still had a much better regular season career than Eli. Eli still has the lead in overall divisional games (Eli: 14-10, Romo: 6-5), as well as postseason success. Eli Manning has played more NFL games, although Romo has been in the league longer.
One could argue that Romo has a better offensive line in Dallas and a slightly better receiving core, yet that is not a factor. The greatness of a quarterback in the NFL is measured by success. Success does not mean thrilling stats, but wins when they count/matter.
In the Week 17 season finale, Eli Manning changed things around. He came extremely close to disrupting the Patriots' 16-0, yet would give himself another shot in a few more weeks. Manning played great in that game, looking poised and focused, as he was almost mistake free. He hit targets and looked comfortable, but the Patriots offense overshadowed Eli. The Giants would make the playoffs as a wild card team, with a long road ahead of them. Manning became invisible during the playoffs. A convincing win in Tampa Bay, a moral-boosting win in Dallas, and a great win in Green Bay would lead to the Super Bowl. The Giants won XLII mostly because of the heroics of Eli Manning, becoming the SB MVP. Although most of the credit should go to the Giants' defense by stopping Tom Brady and the New England offense, Eli Manning orchestrated the most memorable Super Bowl winning drive in NFL history (with a few miraculous plays).
Any NFL player would prefer a Super Bowl ring opposed to great stats. This is the contest which currently exists between Eli and Romo. Eli Manning already has a Super Bowl win and MVP under his belt. You can't top that. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tony Romo win a Super Bowl in the near future, but as of now, Eli Manning is the better QB.

Having the right mindset and mental awareness contributes to the question. Do notice that Romo had the better offensive line, receiving core as a whole, and a running back. Romo was on a 12 Pro-Bowler Dallas team, to the Giants' one last season. Romo was given two chances to win playoff games, yet choked. Eli Manning came through to win 4 away playoff games, eventually winning Super Bowl XLII, becoming the MVP. Better skills? Probably Romo. Better mentality? Eli Manning. Better overall career, thusfar? Eli Manning, because of his success.

A Quarterback's greatness is measured by success. Manning has had the better end of success, thus is the greater QB.

Romo may be the better athlete, but Eli has a better combination of those traits. Also, an NFL quarterback's greatness is measured by success. A Super Bowl ring and SB MVP are more successful, thus Eli Manning is the better complete QB. Also, Eli does not "suck balls" in the regular season. He hasn't been very consistent, but he still has a better divisional winning percentage than Romo, during the regular season.

Eli Manning won the NY Giants Super Bowl XLII. He is the franchise QB, and will ensure success in the future. Jealousy can't cure that. I bet that Manning will last longer as a Giant, than Romo as a Cowboy. How many more chokes can a Dallas fan take? It's not all about the regular season. Wins and losses mean nothing until the postseason. Eli made his way to the top, through playoff success. A Super Bowl ring and MVP award speak for themselves.

how is your opinion stronger? anyways im gonna let the preformance of these two young qb do the talking for me and if eli preforms better than romo this year i will pubilcly admit i was wrong. but it wont happen
