Twist had been at her wits end with her two twins. Her other children had turned out alright- but these boys...they just did something to her. Prehaps made her old. Hurricane though normal in mentallity had suffered from a tremendous blow as a puppy that left him crippled. Had it been any other wolf she wouldn't have cared less. But it was her son- and it made her worry what would become of him. And Tornado- there was just something mentally off with that boy. He might have had the body; but his brains were lost someplace in translation.
Not to mention she had some worry about Churnabogs pack taking her children. Not that Churnabog himself would- she trusted him for a strange reason- prehaps lust. But the rest of his pack from the sence seamed more bloodthisty then her own.
Then there was Crunch; he wasn't as much of a threat as Churnabog. But the friction between her and Alas seamed to be mounting and it was putting a horrible strain on the girl. Not that this wasn't a first- but sometimes her calculating brain wasn't as functionable as it had been and sometimes she felt so alone.

Alas had plenty on her mind, she had lied to Twist and taken the stormy firstborn female to save and raise properly, and she was glad for it because things were quickly going bad for Agua Azul. Twist seemed more strangely unstable each day, and her children were all seperated into dark paths. Meanwhile in Akiiki Chibale she had found inner peace, she had found a small pup and adopted her as well, she was raising the girls together as sisters in a family that loved them dearly.
It was all she had wanted for Twist, so long ago when the alpha had been young, but now she understood that Twist had never heeded her words. She climbed the steep cliffs now remembering the calmer times when she had done so, when she had nuzzled and comforted the teenage alpha. Now she knew that Twist had never appreciated the efforts, still she came, out of loyalty.
"Twist..." She murmured her alpha's name softly, with the same tender care of the past. Alas tried to pretend sometimes that things for this pack had not gone so awry, she felt badly for Twist who's children were quickly growing and leaving her cast aside. She wished she could tell her, Tempeste her firstborn daughter was thriving and happy, but Alas would never tell her that. Tempeste was a joy, and a guilt.

"My sons...and daughters..." was all the Alphis managed to say as she looked at Alas. She was clearly distraught by her childrens actions. Though she was proud in some regards, in others she was grief stricken. Her son Tornado seamed veaugly obsessed with some female she was sure didn't exsist. One of her other daughters was dead- or so Alas told her. Though part of her doubted this being she didn't trust the fluffball all that much. Plus her disapearance's were disconcerning as much as Adolfo tryed to keep tabs on her. Hurricane proud as it made her be that he was 'King' of Gommorah with Piper. She felt so distant with him as he rather flew the coop with the first female he could find...and his leg; her nose tipped downwards in sadness. He'd never walk like a normal wolf again. The only one of her children that seamed to stay around was Shezzam and Idogbe occasionally. Though she doubted Shezzam would ever 'make' it on her own; and that Idogbe was somehow trying to live in others minds. Again the seer prospect made her proud- but would he too become distant like Adolfo had with his family?
Was this was Kattana had tryed to kill herself? She shook her heads as the thoughts danced threw them. She missed her children when they had all been together and playing under her and Wazaam's paws. Oh those were the days. She had experinced happyness- she knew what love was. But now that her pups had left her, her mood had worsened and she had prehaps become more of an old codjer then ever before. The damp cloud over her always filling her head with vile thoughts of murder and death. Her eyes cold and filled with hate.
She looked to Alas with these and couldn't even speak back to her, more then what was already spoken.

Alas felt a deep sadness well up within her, she wished she could comfort Twist the way she had comforted Katanna, but she had been innocent and Twist was not. Just as the alpha had torn other families apart with her secrets, plots, and betrayals, now her own family was drifting apart. Alas saw Agua Azul as a dark curse, a pack that was eating itself up with it's own inability to love.
As Twist turned her cold hateful gaze Alas frowned, her words were not soft and comforting like before. "You've done this to yourself Twist..." She sighed softly
Inside Alas wished she could bring Tempeste, unveil the truth, show Twist her healthy daughter, full of life and love. Never, Alas could never bring Tempeste to Agua Azul, she had saved the female from the pack, if only she could save them all. "I worry about the pack at our border, the new one..." She sighed softly, she still had her duty to her alpha.

It was almost as if Alas was finally comming clean of her feelings to Twist. So she felt within her right to do the same. "Churnabog is our ally, you have no need to worry about him." Just admitting this to the fluffball would show her that Twist had ill intentions. Only the truly evil would ban together like those two packs had. They were interested in only one thing- domination and power over others. This was why it had be pertinate to show Alas what she was really thinking. The two together would reign over all the other lands- killing and leading a blood trail behind. Prehaps making up inwardly for the ill contentment she was feeling.
"That was what you were looking for all this time?" She made a brief pause eyes not blinking as she looked at the other. "Wasn't it? Some truth that I was as evil as it was rumored. Prehaps I am- or maybe we only are created evil..." She trailed off on those words and broke eye contact thinking of her own children. Prehaps they had turned out the way they did because of her. "If I had a mother like you from the start maybe this pack would have turned out differently- I might have turned out differently." Again her eyes were cold. "But I haven't had the kind of blessings that you have; and it's too late for the love you've tryed to give me. I've closed my heart to the world- you should have been smart enough to see that. Maybe I even saw a hint that I could change by appointing you beta- but then maybe I'm not the swiftest wolf at times. I should have known from the start I would never allow myself to change- that some point of me enjoyed ruining others. You were the only one to see it threw my deception. I suppose I should praise you for that- but those times have passed. You know who I am now- and thats a threat." Her brown raised dangerously but she made no threating movements or showed any sign that she had and intentions to attack. Prehaps she wanted to see what the other would do with the truth. Or maybe it was her own spirits that kept her from moving.

There it was finally the true intent of Twist, she was in alliance with the evil pack that had settled nearby. She listened quietly to Twist's confession surprised by how calm it all was, and to think how she had agonized over it. Alas had always known deep down, but she help a small shard of hope for the alpha, now that light was extinguished.
"So that is it at last...What tribute will you pay to their wicked King? Will you give him one of your children Twist? What wouldn't you do to tear apart your happiness just a bit more?" She sighed softly
Alas looked down before turning to meet Twist's gaze her eyes filled with compassion. She still felt sorry for the young female that she had tried so hard to give support and love to, if only somehow she had been able to save Twist...but it was too late. "I always knew the truth, but I hoped my acceptance, love, advice might change you. At least I saved one." She might even have saved two, for in Adolfo she still held hope, but at least she knew Tempeste could love, and laugh, and wouldn't be as tainted as her true parents or siblings.
"It's time for me to leave now..." This time she meant she would leave for good.
"I stayed, I was loyal to you Twist, I kept my promise, but there is no longer need, nor place for me in Agua Azul." She tipped her head and gently touched her nose to the alpha's cheek. "It is never too late to change, to be an example for your children, to love your mate in truth." She sighed and turned away, the desire to tell Twist was so strong, the guilt of Tempeste was so heavy on her.

"I would never given him my own children as vile as you think I may be. It was the one thing I thought I would have a chance to change. I wanted to give them what I hadn't- I wanted them to be happy, to love, to live, to just experience joy without pain. I never wanted them to go threw what I have, and yet they have." She felt slightly angered the other implyed she would make a bad mother. "Hurricane prehaps might have been the only one I succeded with but that was because he spent more time with his father then me. His father knows how to love. I don't...and even if you doubt it. I do have feelings for him- he prehaps is the only thing that kept me 'grounded' all this time."
She looked back with a slight hint that there might have been some love still stored in her eyes. But it too was quickly drowned away by the pain and failure of her life. "Though admittedly I never expected our parting to go so well- and where I should feel happy...I'm saddened to by the whole situation. I know you tryed your best to help me- and I never repayed you for your kindness. Prehaps the peace of tonight will be my gift."

"Then let this be my gift to you...though you may be angry with me for it. Your firstborn daughter is alive and well, she is a happy loving girl, and she will grow strong and caring, without the weakness you feared so much." Alas sighed and turned to leave, now the burden was lifted, the secret she had only to keep from Tempeste, for her own good.
Alas glanced back at Twist with hope once again in her eyes, perhaps Wazzam would light her way once her children were gone, maybe she would learn the truth and joy that there were to be had in love.
