So... How sad would it be if your sorry a** couldn't find a real person to love???
I'm talking about that new announcement, where those 2 kids are all "We're in love, look we have pictures".
But no seriously, people should just get up off their lazy a** and find people IRL to hook up with... LOSERS!
I mean, gaia, or anywhere else online is good to find a hot booty call. But that's about it...
So, how do YOU guys feel about "online fake a**, waste of space people who find love"?
You know how I feel.

Lawlz its funny because of Uta and Roger and Pixie and Eikichi and Game and Ezzy and Sin and Hdog? I dont remember if they met online, and Siamese and Kori ( rofl ) and Dan and Dukes and Game and DG and um I forget if we had any other sg romances.
Anyways I think all internet "in love" relationships are bs. You can love the people online as friends I guess but not be *in love* with them unless you know them in person. I just dont see how it works. But thats just me.
And whats the point of dating online if you cant get it on? The difference between dating and friendship is the sexual relationship you have with that person and thats not possible online. You can cyber but thats not the same.
And I sure as hell wouldnt let someone I met online move into my house with me. Thats crazy.

Heh. I don't know why we're supposed to care about them. I mean, it's nothing new... XD
My personal thoughts about online dating is that it can be silly. I particularly don't like it if noobs in Towns walk up to other people and ask if they want to date. Oh, come on, you don't become lovers just by asking in real life.
I think online relationships can work out. However, I think they should met up offline as friends first, then move from there. That's just me, though. I'm not in an online relationship, have not, and probably never will. Many people have met their ends by meeting up with online lovers who turn out to be psycho. XD

If I remember correctly, Sirail and Trisk meet online and fell in love or something. That was the first time I knew of a relationship that actually worked. Then everyone started doing it.
Yeah, I think they can be kinda ridiculous... I'd like to meet someone IRL instead of just seeing pictures of them online.
Oh well; Gaia is just trying really hard to reach out and all that jazz. They're trying really hard.

I've stayed away from online Relationships because of the fact that you can't actually be close to the person. If the right person came along though, and there were means to actually meet them and what not then that might be considered. But really I think that most online relationships are not true relationships, in the romantic sense.

It's great that they found each other and have been together so long but to make a special announcement to promote finding an online relationship on Gaia like they did. :/
They seemed pretty nice in the GCD especially with some of the negative comments about the whole thing. But their story is more an exception than the norm.
Personally I'm not the type of person that can do an online relationship. I mean how can one have feelings for someone only through some words on a screen and some pictures. You can't get the same feel of the type of person they are like you can IRL. I'm happy for the people who it works out for but like a lot of you, just not for me.
Edit: Is it bad that when I first saw it say chatterbox that I thought "wow those 'cute boys chained up on the wall, girls pick one' threads worked" would be funny. >_>

The only reason they didn't put me and Game in that announcement is cause Game left Gaia!
... Also, cause we're lesbians, and all the "family" groups would get up in arms. talk2hand
Still, if they can make it work, good for them.

PERSONALLY!
I wouldn't want to brag about the fact that I could never meet people IRL that found me interesting...

"Girls strip, boys stick gold in their thongs!"

I can sorta understand finding love on Gaia, it just seems a little hard to do. I've had friends that got "married" on gaia after being really good friends for a while, and they still remember it even though they don't talk to each other quite as much anymore.

;D The Ryan thing was complete bs... But after Ryan I totally understood that online relationship were bullshit...I still think online relationships were bullshit. Honestly I never spent time talking to Evan thinking I was going to get into an online relationship, and I really didn't WANT to be in an online relationship. I just kind of fell into one..
And it sucks. Like it seriously sucks and I would never ever do it again. But I love him lots and that hasn't changed at all and it's been over a year.
People can get over knowing too much about my irl life and feelings with this kk?
But I was like the happiest I've EVER been when he visited last summer..we had great chemistry and had a lot of fun and it was amazing. And the fact that I could someday have that with him all the time is more than enough for me to stay with him when I can't.
You can say it's bullshit, but but I'm in love with everything about him. We're taking our own steps to try and be together in real life, knowing it could be a year or two from now..and it might not work. It can so easily not work and we both know that. But we want to make it work and certainly love each other right now...
So you can say what you want, but it really doesn't matter to the people in the relationships. It's real to us and we'll do everything we can to make it work. biggrin

Online relationships are often very untrustworthy. Well, not overall, since they have about a .07% chance of working. It's just the anonymousity that scares people. But it also gives an insight into what kind of person you like on the inside. Even though the person you actually are dating online is not what you expected in real life...i.e "They're MY gender!", "They don't look hot...", etc. The people at my school made a video about this... >->...
...But that's not the point....and I sounded a bit conceited...
