General Facts
Tokeil Maenicunei is the Standard language of the Takghan people on K'vous, though the planet they lived on was destroyed in a war, they were able to save a few of their kind and move to Earth where they now either live in disguise or underground.
this language is rather simple and is based on simplicity. there is no Definite translation for most of the words so there are many uses for almost all of them.
one of the most noted items in this language is that it has a special twist that is unlike most languages from Earth, the word for them is untranslatable but most linguists call them Fixxes. there are many different types of Fixxes and all of them have a special use, as either to change a words meaning or the meaning of an entire sentence or paragraph.
the people who speak the language are very special, the tongue of most Takghans is tied to the bottom of the mouth, or on Earth Tongue tied, and makes it difficult to say some words, thus the language has many interesting words.
the written language is very difficult for most people to understand, though it is actually just a bunch of memorization. there are exactly Fifty Letters in the Tokeil Maenicunei language, forty of what Earth calls Consonants and ten Vowels. the alphabet is confusing to learn because you write it from right to left and bottom to the top.

Fixxes =========================================================================== in the New Standard Basic tongue there are many specific "words" so to speak that are used as determiners for specific items. These are called Fixxes. They are said to determine something’s size, tense, or the meaning of a word all together, so powerful it changes hello to good bye, and an entire sentence into a question from statement. Bellow I have listed all the Fixxes and their meanings, with sections on whatthey are for. = = =Atlakifixxes = :Bright/Light/Shiny/Glowing===Uc = :dark/shadow/dim===Caer = = these are fixxes used mainly in describing objects that are untouchable, however they are still used for objects closer up such as lamps, shadows and other random things that emit or inhibit the source of light. They are also more commonly used to describe stars or space vehicles, or a moon and planet type deal. = = =Domniguers = :Hot/Angry/Mad===U'te = :Cold/heartless/carefree==Du'atcha = :Wet/Excited/Aroused===Ung'aloui = biggrin ry/Sick/Unhealthy===K'chala = :Air/Wind/Sky/joyful/Gleeful===hatchi'tala = = Fixxes such as these are used when either talking about the weather or just explaining your mood. They are always used with another word, so if you see one with out an actual word it is obviously not supposed to be there, The most common word that these are pared with is the word Be/Is/Are/Am "Ma" so they would turn out to be "Ki Hatachi'tala'ma!" "I am joyful". = = =Jeakufixxes = razz erson/People===Liu = :Animal/Plant/Thing===Hong = = mostly used by scientists or people enrolled in a high level of intellectuality that requires extra determining of a object as a person animal or thing, though these are becoming more and more common in the speech of average people as well, mostly if someone is trying to point out something or someone or if they are correcting someone on a mistaken tense. Such as someone pointing to someone and accidentally thinking they were an object, you would say “tak’ne Hong’gi, tak Liu’ma!” which would translate, “that(negative) thing(big/large), that person/being!” = =Giurafixxes = :land/dirt/ground===Dikyu = :sky/flying===Haekyu = :swimming/water/sea===Seatkyu = :forest/plant life/jungle===Vitukyu = = these are used when describing Animals or plants, mostly animals though. They have the =meaning of where the animal or plant lives and what its attributes are, extra fixxes may be added to make the words make a little more sense and to have them actually descriptive of =living animals or plants. = =Diufixxes = surprised nly last for a while/ thirst/anger/hunger===Lom = :lasts forever/gender/race===Ket = = these are hard to explain for the main reason of them having no actual translation into any other language. Though many languages on Earth do use them in a way, the actual use of these is totally unique and almost impossible to learn if you are not careful. Most people from Earth who's language already uses similar such things may pick them up very fast and easily, others not so much. The main reason for them is to determine if something lasts forever, or if it is only for a little while. = =Chaufixxes = razz ast===Ho = :present===Ve (used to correct someone, put it as a suffix to an = -word that is already past tense to change it to a present tense to = -correct someone talking about tomorrow or yesterday, such as in = -Ki'li ma hai slak't" we will be happy later, changing it to ki'li ma = -hai slak't've, we are happy later, present tense. = = :Future===Te (as in it will happen) = = hardly ever used, but they are needed as main parts in a conversation such as describing when something happened or if you are changing the tense of a sentence to tell or correct =someone of a specific time or date that something will be happening. = = =Hakufixxes = :Tall/Long===Ga = :Huge/Large/Big===Gi = :Short===Bi = :puny/tiny/small===Ba = :Universal, used if you don’t know the size===G’va = pretty self explanatory. These Fixxes are used in determining size or distance, usually used with numbers or other Fixxes, though can be added to names and other nouns to make them more realistic. = =Lafixxes = razz ositive===Da = :negative===Ne = :possessive===La = :plural===Li = :Action (used to signify doing something a verb)===Za = :Question===Do- (add to beginning of sentence to change it to a = -question, such as the Sentence "Do Ch'fa na K'da/ What do you = -want?" ) = = basics Fixxes used to change the word meaning or the meaning of a sentence all together, most commonly used is the Plural Li, and possessive La. though second common is 'Za' action and 'Do' question. They are also used to change a word from a positive meaning to =a negative or to reverse the role that word is based for all together. = = the final Fixxes are those called ScaeFixxes, these are to determine age = :Old===F’lo = :middle Aged===F’hay = :Young===F’scae = = used to determine age when having a conversation with someone, you would use these Fixxes for specific words that are needed to be able to correctly communicate. = =========================================================================== = Creating a sentence = creating a sentence is very confusing at first. Most people don't pick it up until a specific time duration of speaking the language, to about six months to a year. But once you pick it up this language can be very easy, all that remains for you to do is memorize the vocabulary (which I am creating a longer more extended version for later, for now I only allow the words in the =dictionary listed bellow). though creating a sentence is confusing at first after a while it can become easier and less painful to dig through all the Fixxes and other various combination needs. It’s a very simple process once you get the hang of it however, at the end of this book is a phrase guide and it is very helpful for beginners to use this first, it is used to teach and explain specific examples of how a sentence should be put together. Though if you want you can just start experimenting and see where you get, like I said the simplest thing you can do is try what you know and get either easy rejection or easy help from natives its your choice. = = ==========================================================================

Short Grammar and Pronunciations. ======================================================================= = Ae/ea-=- very similar though one has more stress than the other (Ae has more stress) = also ea is pronounced D-ie before 'Y' but pronounced Ai like D-ay after 'Y' = B-=- sounds like a BV mixed together, hard to get but easy to use once mastered. = Ch-=- has two sounds (explained more below) mostly used as SH but can be used as CH = D-=- usually has the Du sound but not always (be careful when using this) = F-=- used as V and Fh, learning the difference is easy = G-=- can sometimes sound like J or ZH but commonly used like G in Garage. Careful = H-=- like Earth H but with much added stress = J-=- sounds like zrr but mostly just J in Just = K-=- usually sounds like the K in Keizer like in German, but normally just K = L-=- kind of sounds like Lv or ulv, it takes time but figuring it out is sounds the same as = -regular if used fast enough anyways. = M-=- soft and almost invisible, though it can be hard like Mom but mostly is soft like = -summer. = R-=- Never trilled and always hard unless put after a Vowel. = S-=- Extra emphasis, very hard and always spoken loudly. = T-=- sometimes sounds as Th but rarely, I will explain when needed = U-=- always sound like oo unless with another vowel. = Y-=- Eye, or ai, very hard to determine = Z-=- sounds like s sometimes but usually like Z in Zoo = Sc-=- rarely ever used at all, this sound is mostly the same as Ch/Sh combined. = =the rest is all natural and can easily be learned with practice. = = = = = ======================================================================= = a secondary grammar, used for mostly the words unusual to the regular tongue. = = = Ch - this sound is very special, specific words have different ways to make this sound. =the first is the most common like the Ch in Chalk or Chair, but the second is the Ch that =sounds more like Sh from Shop or Ship. The word Ch'fa, or most commonly translated to =what, sounds with the Ch of Sh, making it sound like Shfa. = the second sound that’s rarely used even in NSB is the Zh, sound like J, or K. = D'???--this is the short version of the D'word set up, it is a difficult think to pronounce =at first but after practice it is simple. It is used to add emphasis to a word. So D'za, would =sound like Dizaa. = K'???-- Similar to the D'word set up but K'word is a little easier to use and more =common then D'word. And sounds more like Ke'word, like the word K'da, most =commonly used as Want, sound like Keh'da. But like D'word the first letter is said very =fast and spoken as though it wasn't their. = T'???-- is just like the other two?'word set ups but sounds like Tuh'word like T'chata, =or most common used as See, Tuh'chata. = Ch'????-- Harder to come by then the first three but Ch'word is hard to learn, it has both =the sound of Ch chair and Ch shop so you must be careful to learn which ones uses what =type. Mostly there will be an accent to mark it but in the actual language there are no =punctuations or accents to define which is which so be careful not to make yourself sound =very, hilarious as they would say. = most of the words in the U section use the first syllable as Ung, which sounds out as =Oong. It is easy to learn once you hear it a few times.

Short blurb.
I must make a extra special note about the /Letter/'/word/ item, this is when you say the first letter then cut the word entirely then continue, and this happens so fast that you should barely hear but a click of the voice. for an example the word T'chata, mean Naked/or discovery/or to be seen. or K'da meaning want/desire/wish to have. other example words are in the dictionary.

----------------------------Short Phrases------------------------------ In this section to determine if a sentence is a question the letter Q will be placed at the beginning to show that the Fixxe “DO” “question” is to be used.
------------------------------Greetings---------------------------------- The basic form of greetings in Tokeil Maenicunei, or New Standard Basic, is rather simple to pick up. The most common form used among adults is by saying “Person Here Is” and it used to show that a person is here and paying attention to another, the one used among children and even most adolescents is the phrase “Q you being?” which is close to earths “What’s up” used by teenagers and other younger generations of people.
Person here is/ hello=== Liu’g’va ung’ear ma Q you being? /hello in younger generations=== Do na ma? Regular word meaning Hello/Greetings=== Dosh’te
As for saying good bye and other various farewells the person staying and the person leaving both say different things, though it is also different if you are both departing the same place.
So if you were staying you would say “Be Safe”=== Ma Yaolea And if you were leaving you would say “Have Safe”=== Yona Yaolea If both people are departing they would say “Safe journey”=== Yaolea dosh’te’ne The regular word for good bye is the same word for journey which is “Dosh’te’ne”
--------------------------Meeting people------------------------------------- When people first meet they generally ask for age before any other form of communication, this helps so that you can use the correct Age Fixxes of Old, Young, or Middle Aged to describe the words to the person you are speaking to. In this section we will simply use the Fixxe Old, “F’lo”.
To ask the age of a person his age you would simply ask “Q what age you” === Do Ch’fa Zh’scea na?
To answer such a question the person being asked the age would say I am______ /Old/Young/Middle Aged=== Ki Ma’F’lo/ Ma’f’hay/ Ma’f’scae
Or you could much easier say “I am Here” which implies you wish not tell of your name and any Fixxe decided would work, though when this is said the conversation continues using the Middle Aged Fixxe.
I am here=== Ki ma ung’ear
If you wish to ask the other person the same question you could simple say “Q and your age?”
And your age? === Do A’na Zh’scea?
Asking where someone is from is considered rather rude and “nosy” in the Takghan Empire. So to do this you first must always say where you are from saying “I be from _____” and if you are lucky or get your answer the person may answer with “I located in ______” or “I wish not say”
I be from _____=== ki ma vea ______ I located in_____=== Ki ung’ear akir______ I wish not say=== Ki k’da’ne udac
List of locations,
Earth===Earc Takghas empire=== Takghas ali’ye’ar Zaghan Empire=== Zaghas Ali’ye’ar Paghas=== Vasgas Kasghas=== Kalighas South=== Visetak
Speaking of where you are from is not usually done, but if there is not much else to be spoken of then give it a try, it could never hurt to ask.
--------------------------Eating---------------------------------------------------------- Discussing food in the Takghas Empire is one of the most favorite topics to speak of. Though the food is very good, it has very few selections, the reason for this being that nobody really cares to create new foods, though when one is made it is either discarded when not good or marked as delicious. Most of the food in Takghas is either salty, spicy, or if liquid bitter and sweet at the same time. The most favorite of these foods is Ruca, which to an earth person would taste like rice, but thicker and full of a tasty yet bitter juice. They are orange and shaped like white grapes on earth. These are usually always made to accompany the main course of the meal, being served with a type of salt and different spices to make them even tastier.
Here is a list of some other Takghan foods or meal and how one would ask for such things.
Ruca- a rice type food described above Sc’pa-a weed used in cooking meat A’escfe-cold plant that is used to season Ruca Sc’pwela-a dry weed that is good for clothes and used to eat by lighting on fire then letting flame burn out on its own leaving the tender flavor, kind of like earth chicken with no meat
Scinga- a sort of fried noodle that is flavored with cesedfrolom Cesedwenem-a fruit that is squeezed for its bitter juices and seeds are fried for snacks Cesedwarem-a fruit that is very hard but has a delicious sweet taste when chewed on Cesedwikam-a fruit with very spicy seeds, yet very good shell for jewelry making Cesedfring- a very rare vegetable that is prized for its rare seeds that are used for spice Cesedfruchea- a vegetable that can be used for cooking, but is usually eaten plain for its spicy flavor
Cesedfrolom- a bitter vegetable that is sweet and juicy when cooked Cesedfrichom- a rather small vegetable that is fried for traveling snacks and boiled for side dishes Asking for food is simple, just say “I am hungry” or for drinks say “I am thirsty” this is not rude and when heard people will respond with “I have drink/food” or “I have no food/drink”
I am hungry/thirsty=== ki ma sc’kem’za /ung’duc’za I have (don’t have) drink/food=== Ki yona (yona’ne) sc’kem/ung’duc
----------------------------------Family--------------------------- Family is very important to the Takghan people. Though talking about them is rarely done. So here is a simple list of family terms and ranks in a family.
Father- Dob’de Mother-Am’lo Brother-Sc’kelim Sister-Wenom’ai Cousin- Acoscea Aunt/uncle-Dwenam Grandparents-dobvwenes
----------------------------------Going out/ dating/ romance /entertainment---------------------- Going on walks around the cities, or gentle strolls in the country side is a very common pass time in Takghas, though dating and romance is rarely ever discussed in the Empire. Privacy is very well kept in the empire for people do not welcome others into their own lives so easily. As for entertainment, there is much to do in Takghas few people go around just to have fun, though in the pass time of people art is the most common pass time. This includes painting, sculpting, writing and literature and much more. Music is also a favorite thing for the Takghans, mostly with flutes and pipe instruments accompanied with small strings and drums. Below is listed the few instrument types and a few types of music with other special art forms.
Music
Zh’scima- a whistle type instrument with four finger holes and a small pad on the bottom used to change pitch
L’zhakor- almost entirely similar to Earth Flute Choktom- a small five based drum Aktom- another type of drum used for very low pitch, on earth called Base Zh’lonm-a small form of the Zh’scima with two extra holes for the two thumbs
Types
Almdec- a form of dance that is the most common to hear in Takghas Ducsceam- a slow steady beat form with many whistles solos Z’sciman-mostly all drums and beats
-----Dance and art-------------------------------- Dancing in Takghas is almost always single person acrobatic dance. There is only one style of dance that uses two people that is slow dancing, the dance called Marithan ma suc’ja, which is the wedding dance. Other dance styles are listed below.
When saying which dance you do best you would say “I have______dance” to ask what dance someone else does you would say “Q have dance you?”
I have _____ Dance=== Ki yona Scimaon Q have dance you?=== Do yona scimaon na?
Dance styles
Marithan=== dance at weddings between married couples to show affection and the bond of marriage
Havenao=== dance of acrobatic skill with no flips, just jumps and twists to music Leminithe===dance with many different speed spinning and ground sweeps but not much acrobatics
Aikrous=== mostly all acrobatic and not much for dance, this is the most common of sports and dance among the Takghans.
Art in Takghas is very simple yet difficult, beautiful and abstract. The way they usually make art is a small background and much art work of beauty and painting of scenery then in the middle of the picture surrounded by the entire frame is Calligraphic writings. This is called Sebeci, other art forms are unique and hard to find so this is the only common one known to us.
---------------------------Language Difficulties---------------------------- Now when you first start speaking to a Takghan remember that they have grown up with the language much as you have grown up with whatever language you are translating from this book. So when speaking to a Takghan do not get discouraged if they correct you, it may seem rude but they actually really want you to learn their language, this is why they correct you, it also may be because they want to understand you better.
The most common question to ask would be “Q do you speak Tokeil Maenicunei” to answer you would just say “I Have speak” or “I don’t have speak”
Q do you speak Tokeil Maenicunei?=== Do na udac’za Tokeil Maenicunei? I Have(not) speak=== Ki yona udac’za(‘ne)
Other phrases include those listed below
I don’t understand=== Ki Dache’ne I understand=== Ki dache (These are the same phrases for I do/don’t know)
Please say that again=== Vate a’udac’za Q What did you say?=== Do ch’fa na udac’za?
--------------------------------Other----------------------------------------- The Takghan people have many different views on life compared to most races on K’vous, Mostly because they are the most advanced. Wisdom is prized and so is the use of random “quotes” or what they consider them as “proverbs”. Many proverbs on K’vous have been translated mostly into poems for religious, or other various ceremonies that are very important in any one person’s life. Now days there are three very common and rather interesting “Poems” that were derived from ancient Proverbs said by the Counsel during religious meetings, such as wedding’s funeral’s or a time when someone is close to death. Wedding proverb/poem
You and I are married now, please be mine as I am yours, to be together forever we shall be happy, praise the Lord.=== Ki a’na ma suc’ja hatei, vate ma ki’la a’ki ma a’na’la, ma dwate tacu’te ma ki’li ma hai, Alte’ar Deayea.
Poem/proverb when one is feeling close to death, often said during wars
I do not fear death, for I have God=== Ki eyku’ne espri’za, akla ki yona Deayea.
The poem/proverb for a funeral is very rarely used anymore, and when it was it was considered so horrible that no person dare speak it anymore. Now days a person will just recite a poem that he or she wrote for just such an occasion, some people even write a poem for themselves so when they die a family member of their choice will read it at the time of their death.
-------------------------General Phrases for small talk-------------------------------------- Small talk is widely avoided in the Takghan region. The Takghan people enjoy privacy and would rather not talk to many people they do not know, though if you happen to be in a “drink shack” or able to find a “high bar” then you would be happy to know that many people who are under influence of some sort would more than gladly enjoy your company. So here are a few phrases.
Interesting weather today=== fichila’tia You having a drink?=== Do na yona’za ung’duc? You taking something?===do na draco’za hong’sin? You have to much to drink yet, or are you sober/not drunk=== do na yona’za g’vusc vo ung’duc’za chum’luk? A’ma na cheruk’ne?
