So after the recent GM elections where app. 3 was accused of being portal-based, which it wasn't though that's a fun idea, I decided that I should check out Portal. I had never heard of it before. I first tried a 3rd-party flash version and fell in love. biggrin Now I have gone and blown a hundred bucks on the Valve Complete pack, mostly to get portal. I've wanted to get CS: Source, HL2 and DoD:Source for awhile now so this was my excuse. The real thing is as fun as the flash one! (Once you get orange portals anyhow haha) Discuss: Portal's amazingnessnessnessness.

Damn, someone beat me to the punch on the cake.

I...haven't gotten very far in Portal. xd I get confused. And my brother's playing the 360 majority of the time when he's home.

And the logic portals > later levels
except when you're going after GLaDOS. then it's fun.

... this reminds me that I need Garry's Mod so I can eventually make a Caramelldansen of Alyx/Gordon (and Chell/Gordon if I can, lol)

There's a reason the main character is a girl, that being all subjects of the test were retrieved by a "bring your daughter to work day" and Glados said "ohaythar lookie test subjects". That and Glados is a girl computer. o3o

There's a reason the main character is a girl, that being all subjects of the test were retrieved by a "bring your daughter to work day" and Glados said "ohaythar lookie test subjects". That and Glados is a girl computer. o3o

In fact, the only mention of male characters is the WCC.

Day of Defeat and Counter Strike are the BEST Games to lan, srsly. I love 'em. Halflife is fun too, 'specially at four in the morning when all you can use is the gravity gun.

I like how it emphasizes Still Alive every time it says it. The only bit about the game I don't like is that you don't know if you actually escape alive or not...
